Hidden on a 200-acre farm with the famous Quantock Hills as your backdrop for your celebrations.
This family-owned and operated venue is a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and promises a wedding experience unlike any other.
Facilities and Capacity
Quantock Lakes is licensed for civil ceremonies and offers a choice of beautiful indoor and outdoor areas. You can opt for an outdoor ceremony by the lake or say your vows in the cosy Rustic Barn.
Meadow Barn is the perfect setting for an unforgettable wedding breakfast, and Quantock Barn makes for an ideal central hub and evening party barn.
Quantock Lakes can accommodate 250 ceremony and dining guests and up to 500 evening guests with a sleeping capacity of 62 for 2 nights.
Accommodation is available for your arrival from your wedding eve for you and your loved ones.
The Farmhouse sleeps up to 18 and boasts a magnificent wedding prep room with a sauna, bar, and hot tub.
The Wedding Village sleeps up to 26 and includes a posh piggery bridal suite, games room, hot tub, and barbecue.
The Granary sleeps 18 guests and includes a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and Nordic lodge.
Services Offered
Quantock Lakes is an exclusive-use wedding venue. Weddings include venue hire, canapés, starter, main and dessert, 2 welcome drinks, 1 toast drink and half a bottle of wine, and evening food.
The planning team at Quantock Lakes will plan your day with you, they will set your day up and walk around with you on your wedding eve and they will run your day and clear it all away for you.
Quantock Lakes do not offer back-to-back weddings which many couples find comforting as they actually get to see their venue the day before and with this in mind, they can indulge in wedding eve celebrations in the accommodation with complete peace of mind that every wedding detail is precisely as planned and just perfect.

Thank you for helping us live out the best day of our lives!
We may be biased, but Quantock Lakes is, in our opinion, the best wedding venue we have ever been to, and we were fortunate enough to have it as our wedding venue. From the very beginning, the team was lovely, clear, efficient, and helpful. Since they exclusively focus on weddings, we felt confident that we were in good hands. They guided us through every aspect of the day and allowed us to add our personal touches wherever we wanted. They listened to all our requests and supported our ideas whenever possible.
The accommodation was truly amazing, with a beautiful setting, incredible facilities, and access to activities and sound systems. Our friends and family were also in awe of the place, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. It was the perfect setting for a pre-wedding party with our nearest and dearest.
The wedding day itself ran smoothly for us as the bride and groom, as any issues were instantly handled by the amazing team. The music cues were perfect, the room turnarounds were fast and efficient, and the food and drinks were incredible. Thanks to their hard work, we were both able to simply enjoy our day without being troubled by any issues.
A huge plus for us, was it's a super easy wheelchair accessible venue, that often gets overlooked at wedding venues. It was fantastic!
We cannot thank them enough for helping us put on the most incredible day, and helping us live out the very best day of our lives!

Hi Laura and the planning team,
First of all Joe and I both wanted to say again a huge thank you for making our wedding day so incredible back in March. We still can't stop talking about what an amazing time we had and have had so many lovely comments from our guests about what a wonderful venue Quantock Lakes is, how great all the staff were and how beautiful the accommodation was. Joe and I want to come back to stay in the Farmhouse again!
We really appreciated all of your help and support as well as the little added extras you did that made our day so special, particularly leaving us some cake and bubbly in the honeymoon suite to come back to after dancing the night away, and rearranging our decor after the wedding breakfast so that it was still on show around the venue looking beautiful!
Our wedding weekend was everything we could've imagined and more, so thank you to all the team at Quantock Lakes - you are amazing!

Outstanding!
The entire team at Quantock Lakes we’re absolutely incredible!!
We had to postpone our big day 3 times (thanks covid!) and every time they were so amazing at accommodating us and adapting to the changes, we knew that on the day they would be incredible… but they still exceeded all our expectations!!
Going above and beyond throughout our weekend there, Naomi, Sarah, Laura, Lucy, Rosy and all of their teams could not have made it any better.
If you are thinking about booking this venue, all we can say is DO IT NOW, you’ll have no regrets!!

Just amazing!!
Everything from the moment we arrived the day before the wedding up to the minute we left the day after was absolutely perfect!! The girls at Quantock Lakes are just amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for them, they responded quickly to any queries we sent by email, they guided us through everything and were there for us throughout. They helped us set up the venue on the friday and assisted the florist on the morning of the wedding. They kept checking in on us while we were getting ready and guided us through the day so we had nothing to worry about. Everything ran smoothly. The canapes and sit down meal were so delicious! Our guests all enjoyed the food including the evening buffet.
The accomodation at the venue is out of this world and was just perfect! The attention to detail throughout the whole venue is outstanding. I cannot recommend Quantock Lakes enough, we had the most amazingly perfect day and wish we could relive it xx

Even on our cloudy wedding day in June, the venue barns were incredibly bright.
It is so hard to put into words how stunning and well looked after the venue and accommodations are!
The venue is the most perfect space that has all bases covered with the old barn for the ceremony through to the incredibly bright (even on our cloudy wedding day) food room!
The team were amazing. They were so thoughtful and helpful and no task was too big for them. They really added to the experience and contributed to the perfect day!
We’d love to thank you and the team for all you did for us in the build up through to the day itself.
We will certainly miss waking up and being at the beautiful venue!

Bad weather did NOT hinder our day.
We got married here in June 24, from the very beginning of going to view Quantock Lakes and the stunning views to every encounter we had since we could not fault.
The accommodation is so luxurious and so many guests can't stop complimenting how amazing Quantock Lakes is.
We were unfortunate to not have the best weather to get married outside, but this did not hinder the day at all!
I never on the day felt like I had to worry about anything.

From the moment we booked this venue 2 years before we got married, we knew it was the one.
Start to finish the team at Quantock Lakes have been amazing, planning a wedding comes with stress but the whole team have been super helpful with every email, text or call that I had made in the planning process - even if that was quite regular!!!
Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble.
The accommodation was just STUNNING. All 36 of our guests said not only was it a wedding, it was like a little holiday.
The rooms were stunning, the bridal getting ready room is every brides dream, the view and everything else in between was just perfect.
I really couldn’t have wished for anything better for such a memorable event.

5 Star Food and Above and Beyond Service
We had always dreamed of having a lake side venue, and by chance come across Quantock lake on Facebook. I never dreamed a venue like that would be in budget!
Our dreams became true once we were shown around. It's even more mesmerising in person. The day came where everything went smoothly, despite battling the rain. The staff went above and beyond throughout, even with our last minute changes were catered for!
The food is 5*, I've had so many guests say the food was one of the best they've had at a wedding.
Quantock lakes truly made our dreams come true, and the day so magical. Thank you to all the staff.

We have never felt so much love in one weekend.
Quantock Lakes was the most incredible venue - our whole weekend was magical from start to finish!
The whole team are so attentive and look after you throughout the whole planning process & the day - I honestly couldn’t recommend the venue anymore - the accommodation, the venue itself, the grounds - all absolutely stunning!

Quantock Lakes literally made our dreams come true.
Quantock Lakes was the first and only venue we viewed back in 2020. We took one look at the lake and pontoon and knew it was the one!
Three years of planning meant we had time to plan every detail and the team at Quantock literally made our dreams come true.
Nothing was too much trouble and everything went exactly how we had planned/imagined.
We cannot thank the team enough for all their hard work behind the scenes. Our weekend was absolutely spectacular!
