Nestled in the idyllic countryside, Hestercombe is ideal for breathtaking photo opportunities and radiates with refinement and history. The exquisite estate is listed Grade I on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in England. The historic country house is a Grade II-listed building.
Facilities and capacity
When couples choose The Stables Hospitality and Hestercombe House and Gardens for their big day, they’ll get access to a uniquely beautiful 50-acre estate. With a capacity of 112 loved ones, the venue can welcome intimate gatherings and more significant get-togethers. The grounds are resplendent with lush lawns, fantastic florals, charming cascades, picture-perfect pathways, and more. For the ceremony, nearlyweds can avail themselves of The Orangery is a Hamstone building designed by the renowned Sir Edward Luytens. The building bathes in glorious natural light thanks to ample windows and offers captivating views across the estate, making it an ideal location to say “I do.” The high-ceilinged and elegant Bampfylde Hall is a red-bricked structure built in 1680 with striking timber beams, and is the perfect party space to celebrate the magical event.

The best day of our lives
The most amazing experience - even with a changed date!
An incredible wedding venue
Nothing was too big or too small. It rained on the day, so the drinks reception was moved to Hesterconbe House, but when the sun came out we went straight outside and the staff were easy with everything.
The venue for photos, guests, and having multiple spaces for the day was brilliant. I would highly recommend the venue to all couples.
