We have the best experience at waterside country barn, the team has thought of everything and from the very first day we had complete confidence in them. The day itself felt effortless and we were both able to just relax and enjoy it. The team were really understanding of what we wanted and responded quickly to messages and questions. All of our suppliers said they were a joy to work with as well. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

Honestly couldn't have wanted it more perfect, from the email right at the beginning to various meetings both Lauren and Georgia were amazing! They really cared about our day and how we wanted it and you could really feel the love they have for creating magic! We also stayed in the Shepherds Hut the night of and we had breakfast delivered in the morning by Georgia and she went above and beyond to ensure our dietary requirements were met pairing with a equally beautiful homemade granola - it was perfect. She also ensured we were all settled the night of the wedding in our accommodation which was perfect. The food was amazing and everyone to this day raves about it being the best day - there was ample amount with guidance from Georgia with numbers etc. They really made our vision come to life and I could not be more thankful.

Waterside was the most beautiful, peaceful location to have our wedding. We fell in love with it as soon as we visited and were shown round by our lovely coordinator Lauren.

Waterside was really great in the flexibility we had to tailor the day in line with our vision and Lauren helped make sure our day could be full of personal touches that mattered to us a couple. Other venues we visited gave the impression that as a couple you’d be simply numbers on a conveyor belt, but we never had that feeling with Waterside.

Lauren was also really helpful on the wedding day itself, working tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly, checking in with us throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed, and liaising with all our various suppliers. She and the team were also brilliant in clearing up afterwards, meaning packing away in the morning all the decor we’d brought along was very easy.

Our wonderful wedding could not and would not have happened in the smooth, happy, and loving way it did without Waterside Country Barn. Lauren and her team made the whole process so easy. They were consistently professional, flexible, and creative when it came to every aspect of the day. We consider ourselves a laid back couple and this venue catered to that so well. We were able to craft the day exactly how we wanted, Lauren took in all our requests and made them work, even on the day itself.

I could talk for hours about how Waterside made this day for us. So, if you are a couple looking to create your perfect wedding day then look no further. From bringing me and my wife a much needed welcome drink after the ceremony, to helping us pack up everything the next morning. The Waterside Country Barn team absolutely smashed it!

Waterside gave us a beautiful canvas to do whatever we wanted, so the space truly became ours for the big day. We organised everything in 8 months which could have been overwhelming but there was so much support from Lauren and very good communication throughout. On the day Lauren, Georgia and the staff were excellent and made everything flow perfectly. All the guests felt relaxed and welcome instantly and the children (and our dog) had a fantastic time exploring. The added bonus of the accommodation meant we could extend our time over a few days with friends and family.

We had the most perfect wedding day at waterside country barn. From the start of the process to our actual day, the team were amazing. Brilliant communication all of the way through. We felt fully guided and supported through it all whilst being able to achieve our dream day. In the week leading up to the wedding and on the day, Lauren took all of the coordination off our hands to make it stress free and to ensure we could fully enjoy the day/ experience. On the day the whole team were extremely attentive and everything seemingly ran smoothly. Their recommended catering was delicious. We couldn’t recommend Waterside Country Barn enough.

We fell in love with Waterside County Barn from the minute we walked in. Georgia, Lauren and the team were all incredible, through the planning process and into the day. Nothing was too much trouble, they were so welcoming and accommodating to any requests we made.
On the day, the weather was unpredictable and they were brilliant in last minute changes and requests.
We couldn't have asked for a better venue - the accommodation was brilliant, food - everything! And all our guests loved it too!
The venue is very reasonably priced, especially compared to other similar venues in the area - extremely good value for money.

Georgia and the rest of the team were fantastic in helping us plan our wedding. They were incredibly organised and well on top of everything, Georgia oversaw our entire day to make sure everything went ahead as planned and all our guests aswell as ourselves had an incredible time

This is such a beautiful place to have your special day. Surrounded by absolute beauty. This venue was perfect. The staff go above and beyond. Georgia and Lauren are amazing. They truly put everything in to making your day perfect. They were so friendly and professional from the first moment we met them. They put their whole hearts in to making your day personlised and perfect for you.

Had our wedding here and it was the most amazing weekend of our lives. The venue and staff are wonderful and faultless. In the many months leading up to it we held various meetings for our special day to make sure everything was how we wanted it, the coordination of everything was so easy. The venue has brilliant packages that are definitely fulsome as you find at some venues when you are searching that many have ‘too many options’ that can be irritating such as not including linen for tables! The venue has 4 stunning & quaint huts for some of your closest to stay in with you over the weekend and the area is lush for views and calmness. When our big day happened it was a blur in any case but didn’t feel like a burden in any way as everything was handled so we could enjoy ourselves. At the end of the day, every wedding is diff based on personal preference, but the girls who run it and the venue itself made us feel special and the day couldn’t have been better.

My son got married here. The staff were amazing and so accommodating. The food was wonderful and we just couldn’t have asked for a more professional yet personal approach for the planning of the wedding. Thank you so much.

My daughter got married at Waterside Country Barn last month & the whole experience was wonderful. Staff, venue, food & wedding planners were excellent which made the day a truly memorable day.

The weekend of the the wedding will be a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Lauren was there every step of the way from first thing Friday morning, hauling hay bales into place, to Georgia sweeping up swan poo the morning of the wedding. They get stuck in with every task throughout the whole weekend.

Our wedding day was magical, which was only added to by the friendly nature and hard work of the bar and waiting staff.

The little touches meant the world to us, and Waterside Country Barn will always have a special place in our hearts.

We got married at Waterside Country Barn on 24/05/24. The day was incredible!

We knew that we wanted to book as soon as we left the venue. We cancelled all of our other venue viewings and emailed Georgia almost immediately. She made us feel so welcome and the venue was just perfect for us.

Georgia and the team at WCB are amazing and worked so hard to ensure we had the best day ever. We have had so many compliments from guests on how beautiful the grounds are, how friendly and accommodating the staff were and how fantastic the day was. The bar had a wide variety of drinks and the food was incredible. The grounds are beautifully kept and the little cabins are just beautiful.

The team worked perfectly with our other vendors to ensure everything ran smoothly. The day was everything we could have imagined and more and a lot of that is down to the amazing WCB team.

The whole planning experience was perfect. Georgia was always on hand to answer any questions we had and she really helped to take the weight off of our shoulders. She made the whole process so relaxed and enjoyable. She would recommend things we hadn’t thought of and she ensured that nothing was left undone. Even on the day, there were little surprises I didn’t expect! Georgia and the team were present during the day and it was so nice to share our special day with them.

We are so glad we chose this venue and would recommend it to everyone. We have absolutely no regrets and want to do it all over again!

Georgia and her team created the perfect day for us. I was quite clueless at where to start with wedding planning and didn’t have a full vision but Georgia helped me so much with what we would be able to achieve. She was patient, supportive and kind. The day went so smoothly and everyone commented on this. We were impressed with the quality of the food and the gorgeous shepherds huts. We were lucky enough to use the new room to get ready in and I felt so relaxed all day. I know this is down to Georgia and her team.
