Nestled in the heart of the Somerset Levels, just outside of Langport, Westover Farm is your go-to choice for an unequalled, one-of-a-kind wedding. Our modern farm venue blends rustic charm with all the sophisticated style you could ask for. We've got you covered, no matter if you're planning an intimate ceremony with your closest loved ones or a grand celebration. Our dedicated team is here to make sure every detail is just right, so you and your beloved can kick back, relax, and enjoy the most unforgettable day of your lives.
Our venue is an exclusive three-day use, blank canvas space for you to transform into your dream wedding.
Our expansive indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to provide a picturesque and memorable experience for both small, intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. Whether you choose a charming outdoor ceremony under the open sky or an elegant reception in our beautifully restored barn, we ensure that every detail meets the highest standards to make your special day truly unforgettable. The ancient hay barn, once used as a grain store for the monks at Muchelney Abbey, is the perfect setting for your wedding breakfast, with feasting tables and hanging tea lights creating the most memorable and magical place to gather and celebrate with friends. Ready to get the party started? Slide open the barn door, enter the cow shed, grab a drink, and dance the night away under the disco ball.
Included in the venue hire:
- Three-day exclusive use, including set up from 10 am the day before your wedding and take down until 4 pm the day after your wedding.
- Bridal party preparation area in the Farm House

Here at Westover, we pride ourselves on being fully flexible and so do not have any fixed suppliers. We have a long list of trusted local suppliers should you need them. Alternatively, we are happy for you to source your own.

The best day at the best venue!
The venue is absolutely beautiful, with a relaxed, laid-back feel for those of us who don’t want anything too pretentious. Despite being a farm, there is such a high standard of finish throughout, including the bar, the tables and chairs, the actual barns and the landscaping across the space. The bridal getting-ready area was perfect for the morning of the wedding, and the whole venue offered great value for money for a full weekend hire.
A special mention has to go to Mel, who was fantastic from start to finish. Communication was brilliant throughout the planning process, she answered all my questions so quickly ( there were lots!) and was just so professional, and just made us so confident going into the day, with no additional worries.
Mel and her mum provided the table flowers as well as some extra flowers for our DIY bouquets. They were the most gorgeous flowers, going perfectly with the colour scheme - they received a lot of comments!
We had the most amazing day and are so grateful to Mel and the team for everything they did. Westover Farm really is something special, and we have no doubt they are going to be very busy every year going forward.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to get married than Westover Farm. From the beautiful old stone walls and stunning gardens to the gorgeous walled garden where we held our ceremony, the whole venue was absolutely magical and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day.
A huge thank you has to go to Mel, the owner, who was so supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. We had so many questions while planning our wedding, and Mel was always there to help and put our minds at ease. She even kindly provided us with games to use in the garden, which were such a lovely addition to the day.
One of our favourite things about Westover Farm was how you aren’t limited to certain suppliers or restrictions. This provided us with a blank canvas to make our wedding truly unique. The enclosed garden was fantastic for the children — they could run around and have fun while we could relax knowing they were safe. It really helped make the venue enjoyable for all our guests.
The camping in the orchard was also such a brilliant addition. It meant our wedding didn’t just feel like one day — it turned into a whole weekend of fun, laughter and memories with our family and friends, which made it even more special.
Westover Farm has such a wonderful, relaxed and magical atmosphere, and it gave us the perfect setting for the wedding we had always dreamed of.

The perfect wedding venue!
Mel was absolutely fantastic from the very start, with responsive communication and brilliant recommendations for suppliers. We had flexibility to add our own personal touches to the day, and it was fantastic to have access to the venue the day before to get everything set up.
On the day itself, Mel made sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests had everything they needed - including plenty of water on what was a hot day! We had lots of comments from guests on the day about how lovely the venue is and the atmosphere it creates. We also had such a memorable morning the following day, having bacon sandwiches with our guests in the camping field reminiscing on the day before.
Thank you so much Mel, for helping to make our dream wedding day a reality. We couldn’t recommend Westover Farm highly enough!
