Kelly I want to thank you for the care and attention you personally gave to ourselves, the wedding and our families. Your sunny, bubbly personality put us all at ease, nothing was too much trouble and you went above and beyond for our wedding. I have waited until I had time to write this because I wanted to ensure the feedback, attempted to do justice to the initial enquiries and arrangements, the actual wedding and the after care provided. Matt and I had a number of difficulties during the year running up to the wedding, I honestly thought we would be looking at having to cancel but the events team were brilliant and saved our day by tailoring everything to the budget we ended up with, without any issues or complaint, in fact the support and understanding was beyond expectation. Once we were allocated to you as our coordinator nearer our wedding and we met to discuss everything, I was instantly put at ease by your calm, friendly and welcoming manner. You helped us achieve what we had in mind, including what the veggies had to eat, getting the bunting I supplied put up, working with us to get our decorations on site and arranging the 2p favours for our guests, which was talked about afterwards as the best wedding favours anyone ever had 😂 The wedding was incredible, it was all the little things, like the card and Mr & Mrs Gonks left for us, my girls, my mother and I loved the bridal suite for getting ready in, you got my grandmother a blanket and offered her a hot drink because she was cold, dealing with our music, liaising with photographers and ensuring all the turn around points went smoothly. I know I provided the decorations but you put it all together and it looked stunning. When the flower arch was delivered I realised the batteries for the lights had run out and you must have put new batteries in because they were on and working for the ceremony❤. Everybody gave compliment after compliment for how beautiful and unique our wedding was, they all had a lot of fun, I think the older males in our families reverted back to childhood and were running around the arcade wide eyed and having a go on everything more so than the actual kids, this also applied to the sweet cart🤣 Everyone loved the fish and chip supper, the gravy was a hit, my Mum is asking for the recipe, she said it was bloody lovely. The DJ supplied through yourselves was great, obviously we are a bit of a mad bunch so the party was always going to be a good one. The pier staff assisting with the wedding were also friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. At the end of the day we didn’t have to worry about anything apart from tipsily making our way back to the hotel, you made it easy for us to come back the following day and collect everything that you had carefully packed up for us. Another surprise was that you had kept the top tier of our cake for us to take home, I was so pleased because with all the dancing I forgot to eat any, so we took a few slices on honeymoon with us to have with a cuppa. I can honestly say our wedding will be lovingly reflected on for some time to come, it brought a lot of joy to a lot of people, everyone said it will be remembered for how beautiful, fun and unique it was and also the obvious love and connection Matt and I have for each other. Thank you with all our hearts to all The Grand Pier staff involved in our wedding, we are so very grateful you were our coordinator.

Steph is an organised and professional wedding coordinator. We chose a bespoke wedding package and tailored our wedding to our needs. Steph was always on hand to help us. The food blew us away. We're a fussy family with food, but it was outstanding! They provided extras for guests (potato dishes, gravy etc) We hired penny arcade, soft play and paper making. The guests loved this. The waterwheel room was beautiful. The hotel was clean, the breakfast amazing and the staff very friendly. 5 stars in all areas.
