It really was the most beautiful day we could’ve ever dreamed of! The team at Rowton were fantastic. From the first day we came to view the venue, to the morning after our wedding we were always met with smiles hugs and an offer of a glass of champagne or cup of tea. The run-up to the day was great with plenty of meetings and check-in emails with the team including the first planning appointment about three months before the day. Here we spent a couple of hours going over the final details and they were amazing at flagging anything that hadn’t even come to our attention yet! The night before the wedding was fantastic in the bridal suite with my family. The team made sure that I as a lactose intolerant bride, had plenty to eat for breakfast and milk for a cup of tea in the morning. During the day everything went completely without a hitch. And if anything did go wrong, they were quick enough to do it without worrying me or the groom! Which is just what you want at your dream venue. We were blessed with lovely weather which meant we got to have photos in the glorious gardens. Our ceremony was outside and everyone commented how wonderful the entire day was from start to finish. The one thing that everyone keeps commenting to me about the wedding though is their pizzas! If you are even thinking about having the pizzas for evening food, please do it is the most commented on part of the wedding after my dress 🤣 I could not recommend Rowton more to anyone looking to get married whether you have 10 people or 150 people, it really was the best day of our lives! We will definitely be going back for dinner’s, and anniversary stay and hopefully a time we can try their pizzas again!

The venue was just incredible. It was everything I could have wished for and more. Ludlow Castle is a truly wonderful place. And the way you run weddings there is fantastic. One of the things I love most is that I did not feel like I was on the typical 'wedding conveyor belt' that you get with so many venues. Having the time to set up and set down and even stay in the apartments was just amazing. We just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything over the last 18 months and on the day itself. You have been wonderful, so professional and helpful throughout the whole process. My family who were there on the day all said how brilliant you were and so organised!

My husband and I were looking to have a small intimate wedding with just a handful of guests. We wanted the day to feel stress free, like a big party with a ceremony in the start. Whittington castle took our vision and made it a reality. Aside from the stunning venue (like, who wouldn't want to get married in a castle??) the team worked hard to make sure we had the best day. The food was fantastic the atmosphere incredible the ceremony went off without a hitch. A key thing that was important to me was having an accessible venue for family members with mobility issues and Whittington castle is fully accessible. Thank you so much to Cathrine, Tom, Kim and everyone at Whittington castle for looking after us and making our wedding a reality.
