Stately Home Wedding Venues in Shropshire

My friend and I went for afternoon tea. It was our third time of going.Each time we go it is just as special as the last time. The team at Davenport are so attentive to all their guests. The food is amazing everytime. The ballerinas, the pianist and the singer made this a fantastic experience that we would deffinately recommend .We can't wait for the next one.

We had a great experience using Walcot Hall for our wedding. The venue and surroundings are beautiful and have so much quirky character. There is loads of accommodation on site which was great for our guests. Emma, Clair, and all the team were very helpful throughout and great to work with. There is loads of flexibility at Walcot to have the wedding that you want. We were very glad we chose this venue for our special day. Thanks!

A MASSIVE Special heartfelt thank you to Lilleshall House and Gardens for hosting such an incredible wedding venue for us. Sarah and Nichola THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for putting up with my crazy zany ideas. Some of them were very last minute lol 😆 we pulled it off together and I trusted you 100%. Your attention to detail is very much appreciated and keeping me at ease and calm. I knew it'd fabulous on the big day and it was more than we could of wished for. It was Sarah first wedding running things and you'd not of known! Outstanding job she did. You're all incredible consummate professionals, hard working and I remember what that was like having worked in hotels. Even when it went on a bit longer eeekk, no one knew. We all kept calm. Literally, nothing was too much trouble and Nichola is fab at keeping secrets! She even made me believe we were having fireworks so to keep a surprise for my Husband lol.! Thank you for allowing Alfonso and Rococo the alpacas to our wedding, they were such stars and my Dad and guests shall have lasting memories of meeting them. The Singers Secreto too and disguising themselves into your team of staff, they were brill and my Husband was shocked. We will certainly recommend you guys for weddings. The food was fantastic our guests were well looked after in every detail. We couldn't of asked for better service or location. Highly recommended. I want to do it all again. From the moment we entered Stockton House, we knew it was the place we would get married, such a welcoming place and a welcoming team - stunning setting and so many options for the day. Absolutely stunning venue, an incredible team of people who are all so knowledgeable about not only the venue but also every single element you might want in your day! Also they have very close links with vendors with whom they work on a regular basis so they can direct you for every single thing you might need - literally every one of our vendors were initially met at a Stockton House showcase, or directed to by Amy. There are so, so many highlights for this venue but the stand outs are: - Use of the entire venue for the full weekend - it is basically like having your own staffed house. - The option for a bespoke menu which you talk through with Tom the chef, he was able to accommodate our entirely plant based menu without any issue whatsoever. - Amy is the bottom line - if she says you can have it, you can have it! There was absolutely nothing we asked for that was not accommodated, and Amy knows everything about the venue so often would suggest a slight tweak that would work better, or had done it before and had mastered it already. - Mandy & Sue - essential part of the team that were there from the afternoon on the Friday until the Sunday morning, ensuring we were very well looked after. Cannot recommend this beautiful venue and team highly enough - incredible setting, incredible service from the very first visit until the morning we left as a married couple.

Wow wow wow... Where to start! We went to see Berwick for the first time in 2023, and immediately the charm of the place stuck out to us. We knew that we wanted a gorgeous venue with a stately home feel, but didn't want it to feel old and stuffy. Berwick combines old and new, and they are so welcoming that you feel really at home in such a beautiful place. You can walk down gorgeous carved wood staircases with stunning chandeliers in your finery - or just in your slippers to get a cup of tea the next morning. We booked Berwick from Friday to Sunday and it was the best decision we could have made for our big day. It was worth every penny! We had a gorgeous rehearsal dinner prepared by the Berwick team, and breakfast on the Sunday morning was just amazing. All of this helped to make our day extra special. We feel so proud to have played a small part in helping to restore Berwick, and every time we came back to visit Will & Kassidy had added new renovations and features. It is so exciting to see the house being brought to its former glory (with a little modern twist). The house itself is amazing - the bedrooms are to DIE for and all stunning and individual, the snooker room got a big seal of approval from the groomsmen, the bridal suite was perfect for me and the bridesmaids, the drawing room just has stunning light coming through and views over the grounds for wedding breakfast, the grounds are perfect for gorgeous photos. And the hallway with the light up stained glass ceiling? Come on!! The real magic of Berwick is the team, and having such a wonderful group of people on hand on the day who you feel really care about making your day special is just the best feeling. We could really relax knowing everything was taken care of. There really is nowhere else like Berwick, and I promise you won't regret going with these guys! PS. It's dog friendly! Our sausage dog ringbearer definitely approved
