We had our reception in The Assembly Room in April 2024 and it was an absolutely stunning venue. The town hall staff were friendly and helpful and set up the room exactly how we had envisioned it. The Town Hall exclusively used Elegant Cuisine as their caterers and we were absolutely thrilled with the food and the customer service from start to finish. Bayley and Alison were responsive and easy to contact when we had queries in the planning stages and Bayley and Ellie looked after us brilliantly on the day too. The food was superb and even my mother (who was dubious about our all veggie/vegan menu) was impressed.

The Ashmolean was an extraordinary setting for our wedding and exceeded every expectation. The building itself is breathtaking, combining historic grandeur with a calm, refined atmosphere that feels both special and timeless. From the moment our guests arrived, they were completely taken by the space. What truly set the experience apart was the professionalism and care of the events team. Everything was handled with such thoughtfulness and precision, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the day. The flow of the event felt seamless, and every detail was beautifully executed.

The team at the Bodleian have been absolutely amazing. They made our dreams come true, holding our wedding ceremony in the beautiful convocation house. Ever since our initial meeting they’ve been fantastic. Anytime we’d email with a question, they’d respond within the day, no question was too much for them. They also went above and beyond when we had trouble with our wedding reception and worked really hard to find ways around accommodating us at such short notice. Everything ran so smoothly on the day, partly due to the rehearsal we’d had a couple of days before, which was incredibly helpful to do! It really was the most beautiful place to hold our ceremony and we’re so thankful to the amazing team!

Thank you so much for all of your help and assistance organizing our wedding at Oxford Spires Hotel. It was the day we had hoped for - beautiful and fun for all. We received so many compliments about the decoration, the setting and the meal, it all came together! We will always have the fondest of memories of our wedding at Oxford Spires! Thank you so much!

Jodie and the team went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding was the best it could be. The pub, barn, and surrounding countryside are beautiful and were perfect for our autumn wedding. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing. We cannot recommend The Clifden Arms enough.

We got married in March 2024, and I honestly cannot recommend Hawkwell House enough. We felt in very safe hands with Anna and Malcolm, they settled every worry, nerve and query. They were very accommodating and helpful, and I can honestly say the day went seamlessly. (Thanking Anna and Malcolm for that! Both were superstars and will forever sing their praises) A massive hit with the guests was the food! I’ve been told by multiple guests it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Amazing choice of 3 options for starters, mains and puddings and fresh pizzas in the evening! (The fantastic chefs even cooked these in the pizza ovens outside in front of our guests!) Our main selling point of this venue is you have your own area, including bar and outside space! Plus the stunning surroundings. It was the best day, even better than we could have ever imagined. Highly recommend!

We recently had our wedding reception at The Perch and we could not be happier with how it went, and that’s all thanks to Emily and all the staff at the Perch! Emily was super communicative from the start, and laid out all predicted costs straight away. Our tour was great and the food tasting was AMAZING! We left the tasting full and happy, excited for all our friends and family to try our menu! In the weeks leading up to the event, Emily was incredibly helpful in helping plan our timeline and decor set-up and in communicating with other vendors which took so much stress off our plates. The Perch were fab in setting up the beautiful marquee exactly how we wanted, and we were so happy with how everything came together, it was so easy and smooth! On the day itself, Emily and the staff could not be more helpful. We had a couple of hiccups (not due to the Perch!) including the photo booth not working initially, and Emily jumped in and fixed it!! The food and drink, as predicted, were delicious and we had so many guests compliment both the quantity and quality of the food! The Perch is also a beautiful venue for photos! Would especially recommend taking advantage of the riverside setting and arriving by boat. Altogether, we had an amazing day and this is largely thanks to the fab staff at the Perch- thank you so so so much to Emily and colleagues! We highly recommend the Perch for couples looking for an easy but unique and personalised wedding with excellent food in a beautiful location! Thank you!!

Deanne and the venue itself were INCREDIBLE from the very start. We had challenging circumstances and they went above and beyond for us - couldn’t fault a thing.

We really cannot speak highly enough of Head of the River! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish - very responsive and friendly throughout the entire booking process and the night itself. We got married at the nearby registry office and walked with our guests to the pub for a great drinks reception, buffet and party. Throughout the whole process, nothing was too much trouble for Head of the River and they went above and beyond to make our day special. They thought of every small detail and did such an amazing job of accommodating all of our crazy requests. We asked for a taco buffet station and they went out of their way to create the most amazing food. We booked up all the rooms which are also beautiful and a great place to retire to after the wedding! Also plenty of accommodation for guests nearby in central Oxford, and well connected. We originally struggled finding the right pub venue due to usual layouts which can feel small and cramped, but this is a great pub for a wedding, with an outside terrace and an indoor area which is open plan. A huge thanks to Kirsty and Jade who are both fantastic. Words just can’t describe how amazing this venue is and we would give a higher score if we could! Thank you!
