Our wedding at the Great Barn was perfect.

The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent, and everything ran perfectly. Vicky coordinated everything with a seamless confidence, and all of our interactions with the staff at the Great Barn were excellent. There was no doubt that the venue was perfect after our initial viewing. The bar and ceremony room were still being renovated at the time, but the team showed us renderings of the expectation and the team did a remarkable job delivering on that vision.

The Great Barn have been communicative on email where required and the planning meetings allowed us to ask all the questions we needed to. We were able to drop off things the night before and collect the day after, having stayed in the lovely cottages the night of the wedding.

Along with Hibiscus floral design, providing a wonderful suite of flowers and decorations, the venue was setup perfectly and it was magical to walk into on the day. Everything was completely in hand at all times, we as bride and groom could simply focus on enjoying the day. The team worked seamlessly together. When the registrars were stuck in bank holiday traffic, Vicky reassured us that they were on their way and it was all in hand. The team worked diligently to ensure all dietary needs were catered for. When the ceremony ended the team coordinated moving flowers from the ceremony room to enhance the other space for the day and it all looked perfect. When the bride needed help preparing her dress for the evening Vicky was on hand to help bustling a somewhat stubborn dress to ensure the bride could enjoy here evening.

Limoncello shots were a perfect addition to the speeches, and segued us into a wonderful meal. The lamb croquettes were the highlight for me, but it was all wonderful. We loved by the Rioja and Viognier as our wine choices.

Rather than indulging in an expensive cake, we elected to have an "Espresso Martini" moment, which Vicky and team fully supported and on the day the drinks were ready on time, per the schedule, without us having to think about it. When it was time for evening food - it was abundant and delicious. Thankfully the weather held and we enjoyed time on the outdoor terrace.

Combined with Sam Bennett photography, Hibiscus Floral design, Signed by Charlotte, Signature Moments, and the registrars, our day was perfect.

We got married at The Great Barn in April 2026 over the Easter weekend and had the best day.
From the initial viewing, we knew it was the venue for us. It's such a beautiful setting and the venue itself is stunning so doesn't need much decoration! It's also dog friendly (up to the wedding breakfast part of the day) which was important to us.
Grace was our coordinator and has been great throughout the process. She was always very responsive to any questions we had, helped advise on the schedule for the day and was really helpful when sorting dietary requirements.
On the day, Grace and the rest of the Great Barn team ensured the day went smoothly and to plan. The food was all amazing throughout the day, including the sweet treat table, main meal (we had the duck, lamb and lemon tart which was all exceptional) and the evening pizza.
The venue itself meant the day flowed really nicely and so many of our guests have commented on what a lovely venue it was. We also had a wonderful stay at the cottages on site the night of the wedding.

We had the best day at The Great Barn for our wedding March 2026! The Great Barn was the first venue we viewed and we knew immediately it was the one, the place has an amazing feel with just the right amount of tasteful decor to make the rooms feel full without too much extra but also enough to be able to personalise the space. We particularly loved the main room with the bar as it kept everyone together in the evening and ensured the dance floor remained full!
Alice was our wedding coordinator, she made sure everything went so smoothly and was a pleasure to have around on the day with her warmth and enthusiasm.

We would highly recommend The Great Barn to all couples, it was the perfect venue for us and the perfect day.

The Great Barn is absolutely beautiful and the perfect venue for a wedding. It hardly needs any decoration to look stunning, and the grounds are gorgeous - even in February the site looked naturally beautiful and had that classic Cotswold feel.

We had 86 guests all day, and the size of the venue was ideal (although the venue could easily accommodate more guests than this). Having the separate ceremony space made the moment of getting married feel so special. The layout of the wedding breakfast and bar room also worked perfectly as it allowed guests who didn't want to dance to chill out or use the photobooth. The bar room - complete with LED lights - became the ultimate dancefloor!

We were so fortunate to have Grace look after us. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she made the entire day feel seamless and calm. The rest of the staff were equally as fantastic, and the service was top tier.

As foodies, the quality of the meal was a huge highlight for us. We opted for the Feast Menu and it was exceptional. We had the charcuterie starter, the sirloin of beef main, and lemon meringue / crumble for dessert - we would definitely recommend!!
We've had so many comments from guests saying it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding.

I knew I wanted to get married at The Great Barn the second I walked in, I got goosebumps! It is such a stunning venue, perfectly suited to host our Autumnal wedding. The cosy, rustic vibe with twinkly lights brings all the magic you could want. On the day, Alice went above and beyond to support our needs and help our dreams come true, we couldn’t have done it without her and the rest of the team at The Great Barn. The team at the Great Barn were absolutely amazing. From day one, they made us feel so welcome and at home in the venue. Alice was our Wedding Manager and MC on the day and she did a brilliant job throughout. She was so lovely, warm and enthusiastic, responding to all of our questions and made sure everything went perfectly on the day. We cannot recommend this venue enough, all of our friends and family couldn't get over how beautiful it was and how good the food was. I have coeliac disease and the team went above and beyond to make sure I was catered for and didn't need to worry about a thing on the day. Thank you so much!

Grace was Amazing, and everyone at the Great Barn was so friendly and helpful. Grace, who was managing our day, had everything sorted by 1030, which took all the stress off us and ensured any issues were sorted. It was such a special day for us, and for it to take place in such a wonderful setting as well made the day even more magical. We had our wedding here in September and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The venue itself is beautiful and created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere for the day, but what really made it all run so smoothly was our coordinator, Grace. From the very beginning she was attentive, organised and reassuring – nothing was too much trouble and she thought of details we never would have considered. On the day itself she was calm, efficient and always one step ahead, which meant we could relax and enjoy every moment knowing everything was taken care of.

We got married here at the beginning of September and it was the most perfect day thanks to all the staff here. Grace was our wedding coordinator who was brilliant from start to finish, she was always on hand to answer any questions we had throughout the planning process and nothing felt like too much of an ask. On the day everything was sorted for us and my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything.

As you can see from their pictures, the venue looks beautiful and that is what sold it for us when we viewed it for the first time, you don't really need to add much to it as it speaks for itself! The 3 cottages on site are also a nice touch and were so convenient for us and our family at the end of the long day. The food they offer is amazing, every dish was delicious. They offer a few tasting events throughout the year so we were lucky enough to be able to attend one so we knew we were in for a treat on the big day and they definitely didn't disappoint!

Overall a beautiful venue with lovely staff on gorgeous grounds which made our day feel so special, thank you so much to Grace and everyone else at The Great Barn. 😊

Our wedding day at this venue was truly unforgettable. Even with a little rain, the beauty of the countryside surroundings shone through, creating the most romantic and serene atmosphere. The venue itself is stunning – spacious and welcoming, with so many thoughtful touches and natural décor that make it feel effortlessly elegant without needing to add very much at all. Our guests kept commenting on how much space there was to relax and enjoy the day, and how beautiful everything looked.

We initially viewed the venue when it was an family run business, but ended up booking it once it had been taken over by a local multivenue business. We felt some of the charm of a family business had been lost, and certain policies and processes put in by management of the venue/head office took the shine off the venue for us. The setting itself is beautiful though, and our wedding coordinator on the day, Grace, couldn't have been friendlier or done any more for us - she was absolutely fantastic.
