Facilities and Capacity
The Bay Tree Hotel is available for exclusive use, and it is licensed for civil ceremonies. The romantic Hawthorne Room is an ideal spot for an intimate wedding ceremony. It can hold up to 12 guests, and it features a delightful log fireplace. At the back of the property is the light, airy Conservatory. This multipurpose space has a flagstone floor and offers stunning views of the garden. It is a beautiful setting for a ceremony of up to 55 people. The Restaurant is the hotel’s largest indoor event and wedding area. It can seat up to 85 people, and its large windowed doors lead out onto the terrace. Beyond the Restaurant, you will also find the galleried staircase. This is the oldest part of the hotel; its quiet grandeur makes it the delight of couples and photographers alike. Outside, nestled amidst beautifully-manicured beds of flowers, is the lovely Summer House, perfect for outdoor ceremonies of up to 85 guests. The hotel also has 21 individually-decorated guest bedrooms so you and your guests can relax in comfort and style at the end of the evening.

The exclusive hire of the venue was ideal. The 21 rooms included in the price were stunning with some guests having already told us they'll be visiting again separately because of the stay they had.
Laura and the whole team at the Bay Tree were incredible to work with from the moment we booked all the way through until after the wedding. They were incredibly responsive and so very accommodating of not only us as the Bride and Groom but also everyone who was present on our day.
We could not recommend the venue more highly if we tried!
