My husband and I wanted a very small intimate wedding the team at Edgehill castle went above and beyond to do everything we wanted. The months leading up to the wedding, Katie answered every query quickly, helped make decisions and made me feel confident about our big day. From the start the venue was very clear about pricing, we had a full itemised pricelist for what we wanted. Additional requests were also given a price so we were able to choose what worked for us.
I stayed in the castle with family the night before our wedding and had a delicious meal. Katie was super attentive the whole weekend - I'd brought along a couple of decorations and before I could even mention them Katie had swooped them from my hands and set them up perfectly which gave me plenty of time to relax and enjoy my wedding morning. I had a make up artist and hair stylist attend the castle the morning of the wedding, and a florist also dropped off our wedding flowers.
Our ceremony room was beautifully laid out, we used the Glassroom for 12 guests which showed the stunning view and we were so lucky to have a lovely sunny day - once our ceremony was complete, we had photos in the garden whilst the staff prepared the room for our meal.
We had a delicious wedding breakfast, all our guests complimented every course (especially the Crème Brulee!)
We hired the whole castle for the evening, we invited a further 50ish guests and had a band play. The whole evening was perfect and the staff at Edgehill were the best, made sure that everything flowed perfectly for us - we didn't need to think about anything!
My husband and I stayed the night at Edgehill as did some of our close family and we had a delicious breakfast in the morning again overlooking the beautiful views.
We can't express our thanks enough to Katie and the other staff members at Edgehill for giving us the perfect day. For being so helpful, supportive and friendly throughout the whole process. We have been back to the castle several times for dinner, and we certainly be visiting many times more! Thank you ❤️.

The location is absolutely beautiful and the perfect size for our family civil partnership, intimate and personal but with the alternative option of having a larger room for a bigger group if required. Bedrooms are stunning and the views spectacular.

The team could not have been more helpful. Flexible and accommodating with dates, helped shape the day to our requirements and gave useful advice and guidance during the planning stage.

On the day itself, everyone was amazing! Caring, attentive but not overbearing and truly wanted us to have the best day. Food was fabulous, wedding cake amazing and nothing was too much trouble.

You can tailor a package to suit your budget. Costs are transparent with no hidden surprises or unexpected extras.

Would highly recommend and we will be going back to celebrate our anniversary.

From start to finish we had the most amazing service from the Team at the Castle.
From our initial booking of the venue to the Wedding Day, we were looked after superbly by the Wedding and Management Team and had the most fabulous transition from booking, planning, menu tasting etc to the actual day.
The food and drink was magnificent, as was the level of care and detail we had, and nothing can surpass the fabulous building, views and location. We booked the whole venue for a Friday wedding and it was definitely value for money, it also added to the occasion by allowing us and all our close family to be able to stay in the Castle in the night prior to and after the wedding.
All in all it was just an amazing day.
Finally I have to add that it would not have been so special without the magnificent team the Castle have there, and Katie and Ryan were absolutely superb in looking after us and making sure we had the best wedding day imaginable
