Facilities and Capacity

Blenheim Palace provides a spectacular setting for your wedding. Its 18th-century Baroque architecture, over 2,000 acres of picturesque landscaped parkland, and award-winning Formal Gardens make it a scenic backdrop for photographs. Licensed in civil ceremonies and partnerships, this beautiful venue offers six areas for events of different styles and sizes. The Marlborough room and the Orangery, makes an impressive ceremony location, and the Great Hall and Long Library are fantastic places for dining and drinks. With each room suited for different elements of the day, these can be used separately or together as one impressive space. The Great Hall, Saloon, and Long Library package are great for larger weddings of up to 250 guests. However, if your guest list extends further than this, Blenheim Palace features stunning grounds ideal for an outdoor wedding with up to 2,000 attendees. Marquees can be erected and tailored to your specific needs and décor to provide a beautiful backdrop.

Perfect wedding space for 2026 - The Orangery

Elevate your wedding experience further with our restored Orangery. In January 2023, we embarked on an innovative conservation endeavor aimed at reinstating the roof of The Orangery to its original robust slate composition and is the first Grade 1 listed building to do something of this kind.

Today, the culmination of our efforts unveils an extraordinary transformation. The Orangery, restored to its former glory, now embraces a captivating bar area and seating arrangement catering to up to 120 guests (although larger numbers can be discussed). This harmonious merger of contemporary chic with timeless charm amplifies the allure of our historic venue, creating the space for your special day.

Wedding spaces Great Hall, Saloon and Long Library

The magnificent Great Hall is the main entrance to the Palace and provides an impressive dining space for events for up to 130 guests and acts as a starting point for private tours of the Palace. The adjacent Saloon is the State Dining Room and is undergoing restoration this in 2026 so unavailable for dining, but you can still visit the amazing State rooms showing more of the Palace treasures. The Great Hall works perfectly as an adjoining space for drinks reception with dining in the wonderful Long Library. In the summer months reception drinks can be enjoyed in the Water Terraces. Flanked by large fountains and ponds, guests can take in views of the Great Lake before sitting down to dinner

The Long Library

One of the longest rooms in any British stately home, the Long Library at Blenheim Palace is home to 10,000 books and the magnificent Willis Organ. With spectacular views over the Water Terraces designed by Achille Duchêne, this room is the perfect place to enjoy a fine dining experience following pre dinner drinks in the Great Hal. The venue holds up to 250 guests for dinner or 300 for a drinks reception, and can be used alongside a marquee on the South Lawn to accommodate for larger-scale events.
