Bar, Pub and Restaurant Wedding Venues in Oxfordshire

With the team at the Feathered Nest we were able to curate an elegant, bespoke wedding that exceeded our highest hopes. The location is wonderful, the venue cosy but high-end, the food was incredible and the team were superb at service. Everything came together beautifully and from the moment our guests arrived they had cocktails Ava champagne, then after the ceremony fantastic canapés, drinks, then a three course dinner where every plate was perfect. The food was seasonal, the wine was wonderful. The venue were also super at accommodating our ideas. From a string quartet to a folk singer for the evening entertainment they helped us to create a flow and keep the event moving. They were also great at helping us source a florist who made the venue look wonderfully seasonal and special.

We had our wedding reception at the Greenhouse and we were amazed for the fantastic atmosphere we had. Keiran the head chef did an amazing job making our Greek menu and all the dishes were delicious . Many thanks you all the team !!!!!!!!! Dan and Merita

I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to the Evenload team for giving us the best anniversary party we could ever have asked for. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The service was fantastic, the staff were so kind and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everyone’s still talking about it! The space itself was wonderful and created such a warm, celebratory atmosphere. We’re so grateful for all the help in the lead-up and on the day itself. Hollie and the whole team made everything run so smoothly. It truly felt effortless on our end, which made it even more enjoyable. Hollie is all such an asset, and we’ll be recommending the Evenload to anyone looking for the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. Our family and friends were all full of compliments about the venue, food & team. They couldn’t stop saying how fantastic everything. It was perfect to celebrate with all our loved ones. We really cannot speak highly enough of Head of the River! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish - very responsive and friendly throughout the entire booking process and the night itself. We got married at the nearby registry office and walked with our guests to the pub for a great drinks reception, buffet and party. Throughout the whole process, nothing was too much trouble for Head of the River and they went above and beyond to make our day special. They thought of every small detail and did such an amazing job of accommodating all of our crazy requests. We asked for a taco buffet station and they went out of their way to create the most amazing food. We booked up all the rooms which are also beautiful and a great place to retire to after the wedding! Also plenty of accommodation for guests nearby in central Oxford, and well connected. We originally struggled finding the right pub venue due to usual layouts which can feel small and cramped, but this is a great pub for a wedding, with an outside terrace and an indoor area which is open plan. A huge thanks to Kirsty and Jade who are both fantastic. Words just can’t describe how amazing this venue is and we would give a higher score if we could! Thank you!
