Ardington House, an enchanting Georgian manor dating from 1720, graces the countryside of Wantage, Oxfordshire. This private estate, nestled on the edge of the charming Ardington village, boasts lovingly tended gardens, sweeping lawns, and a tranquil lake—creating an idyllic backdrop for your special day.

A Dream Venue!
We were lucky enough to get married at Ardington House last week and it was the best decision we ever made! The house itself it simply stunning- so much so that we decided to have our ceremony indoors to make the most of it! From day one the communication with Charlie and Charlotte was just amazing. We had no idea where to start in terms of wedding planning and they helped us immensely and answered our relentless questions for the best part of a year! In fact, we wouldn't even have had a legal ceremony if they hadn't reminded us to book the registrar!!
We had a wonderful tasting session with Fingers and Forks prior to the day and they completely re-worked dishes to suit our tastes. Genuinely, the possibilities for food options were endless and everything we tasted was delicious. The end result was just amazing and even the picky eaters amongst our guests finished their plates!
On the day, I truly thought I would be running around like a headless chicken but genuinely, my husband and I didn't have to worry about or do a thing! Everything ran like complete clockwork thanks to the fabulous staff. Even small things such as keeping a separate tray of canopes on the side for us to eat in between pictures just made us feel so looked after.
One small thing that I hadn't considered until afterwards was that the drink prices at the bar during the reception were also extremely reasonable. A lot of our guests commented on this because given the luxe feel of the venue, they had assumed it would be much more!
The entire day was flawless from start to finish, and every little touch that we had discussed in the run up was ready and waiting for us there on the day. I am so grateful for all of the work that everyone put in to make our day so special and I honestly couldn't recommend this venue and the team highly enough!

Incredible wedding venue!
Ardington House was the dream wedding venue for our July wedding! We hired the house for the full weekend and it made it such a special experience getting to enjoy the stunning house before and after the wedding. The rooms are so beautiful and it was a magical place to get ready in.
The team could not have been more helpful, accommodating and friendly - truly made the day what it was! And they were all experts in dealing with the ever changing weather of a Bristish Summer wedding! Pair this with the Fingers & Forks team and their incredible food and the whole day was nothing short of perfect.
Nothing was too much trouble and we are already looking at staying again for a future family celebration.
The team could not have been more helpful, accommodating and friendly - truly made the day what it was! And they were all experts in dealing with the ever changing weather of a Bristish Summer wedding! Charlie and the team at Ardington were so lovely and helpful. As were Charlotte and the team at fingers and forks. Everyone came together to make our day run so perfectly, I honestly can’t think of a single thing that could have gone better. Definitely shortlist Ardington and have a look round if you’re considering!

Amazing wedding venue!
The most unique and special wedding venue with beautiful grounds and just the perfect setting for a ceremony either in the stunning hall or island.
We cannot thank the team at Ardington House enough for the most wonderful wedding day! Charlie and the team provided excellent support during the last year and a half of constant postponements due to Covid, we could not have got through such a difficult time without them!
We are so grateful to have celebrated in the beautiful house, gardens and marquee, which has left us with long lasting memories and gorgeous photos!
