Croquet Lawn at Fanhams Hall

Exclusive Use Dry Hire which includes the Croquet Lawn and the main house itself, is one of the beautiful wedding venues at the stunning Fanhams Hall, which is situated in Ware, Hertfordshire. Fanhams Hall stands within acres of Hertfordshire countryside, surrounded by formal gardens. This historic Grade II-listed Jacobean mansion offers a timeless backdrop for weddings, where every corner of the grounds provides a setting for memorable photographs, from the structured Rose Gardens to the Wisteria Walk, which bursts into bloom each Spring. Part of the family-owned, award-winning Exclusive Collection, Fanhams Hall embodies a tradition of exceptional service, where creating lasting memories is at the heart of all they do.

There are several outdoor locations at Fanhams Hall where ceremonies can take place for up to 300 guests. The original Grade II-listed Japanese Teahouse, traditionally called ‘The House of the Pure Heart’, sits within 27 acres of gardens and offers an unforgettable setting for your vows. For those dreaming of an outdoor celebration, the marquee- ready Croquet Lawn provides a blank canvas in the heart of the estate, where up to 300 guests can gather under open skies. Once the party finishes at 11pm on the Croquet Lawn, guests can come inside and continue the party until 1am in the Great Hall. When it's time for the celebrations to end, 78 bedrooms are also included in your package.

Receptions at Fanhams Hall can take many forms with our Exclusive Use Dry Hire, from elegant marquee celebrations to inside celebrations for up to 130 seated guests and 200 standing.
