From the moment we walked through the door Essendon and the Team welcomed us in.
The professional and personal approach started there.... we then had planning meetings, menu tastings, wine tastings and the final preparation/confirmation that Essendon and Jo's team going to deliver the best day. They absolutely fulfilled our expectations with a completely seamless day from start to finish, everything was perfect.

We cant wait to come back and celebrate all our big milestones back at Essendon. Essendon and the team will always be part of our memories and we can wait to make new ones with you all.

What can we say about ECC that hasn't already been said?! It's such a stunning venue. All of our guests commented on this and the Christmas decorations installed were just perfect. Jo, Fiona, Aidan and the whole team were just fabulous from start to finish. Despite a slight hiccup (which was resolved straight away), it was the most perfect day. I'm not sure who they bribed to get us the most perfect rainbow for our pictures either but it felt like our loved ones who aren't with us anymore were looking down through the day ❤️

We had our wedding at Essendon Country Club and from start to finish it was absolutely amazing. From the very first call with Jo last year, I instantly felt like a calm bride. She assured me that there was no need for stress and reminded me to enjoy the planning as much as the big day itself. She was right, the whole planning process was a breeze with Jo at our side, and this was noted by so many of our guests who commented on how excellent she is at her job.



The food and wine tastings were such lovely experiences, and every visit to Essendon felt special, with complimentary drinks and the warmest of welcomes. Nothing was ever too much trouble.



The wedding day itself was unbelievable, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The team made sure we savoured every moment, including time just for the two of us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was incredible, with a huge variety to choose from, and the service throughout was exceptional.
A huge thank you to Jo, Katie, Fiona, Head Chef, Jason and all of the wonderful staff who are not only brilliant at what they do, but also so kind and genuine. Essendon gave us the perfect day, and we will forever be grateful!

Our wedding day at Essendon was everything we’d hoped for and more. The day was completely perfect and so well organised. Jo & Fiona were amazing throughout the whole planning process and made us feel at complete ease. The venue was beautiful and the most reasonably priced out of the venues we had visited. Our guests all commented on how lovely the day was and the food was amazing! We’d highly recommend Essendon to everyone!

We got married at Essendon on 12th July and honestly couldn’t have been happier with how our big day went. Where do we start?! From the very beginning, when we visited Essendon on one of their open days, we were shown around by Jo and she was just so lovely, bubbly and had a big smile on her face (Fiona too!!). We knew, when we left that Essendon was the venue for us. Both Jo and Fiona are just amazing, from booking our wedding date right up to our big day, nothing was too much to ask!
Not only is Essendon a beautiful venue, it’s accommodating with a big farmhouse which slept up to 9 guests, a huge kitchen and space to get ready.
We’re still talking about our wedding and how happy we were, we wouldn’t change a thing! That’s all thanks to our suppliers, the venue and of course, Jo and Fiona!
The food was amazing, we’ve had many messages complimenting the menu and again how accommodating Essendon were to certain allergies/dietary requirements. There’s so many options to chose from and everything we chose was delicious!
Jo and Fiona are very quick at responding to emails and very happy to help - they made us feel at easy and Fiona was amazing on our wedding day, always ensuring we were okay and had a drink in our hands! The staff were great and very bubbly, ensuring our day went smooth and our guests were happy. Everything went smoothly and that’s all we wished for.

We cannot recommend Essendon enough.

From the moment we met Jo for our initial walk round we fell in love with the place. The high beams, beautiful staircase and glorious surroundings are just a few of the things that make Essendon so special.

We mainly liased with Jo and Fiona, both of whom were amazing from day 1. You can see how much they enjoy their job and the passion they put in to making sure our wedding day was special & memorable will never be forgotten. Nothing was too much trouble and they were quick to respond to every question and query.
The whole team at Essendon are fantastic and cannot do enough to help from being so friendly each time we visited, fabulous service on the day and even serving us breakfast the next day.

The food is delicious and all of our guests commented on how lovely it was. Menu tasting and wine tasting are included and such a special experience to share.

The farmhouse is beautiful and we chose to for the bridal party to get ready here on the morning of the wedding and also stayed overnight after the wedding had finished. We would definitely recommend this as it made the day last that little bit longer.

We would highly recommend Essendon if you are looking for beautiful surroundings, a gorgeous barn type setting and a stress free experience of organising your wedding day.

We recently had our wedding at Essendon Country Club, and we truly couldn’t be happier with our experience. From start to finish, the day was absolutely perfect – it was everything we had dreamed of and more.

The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail made all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious – we’re still getting compliments from our guests who had a fabulous time and haven’t stopped talking about how amazing the day was.

The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the staff were exceptional throughout. We are so grateful to have chosen Essendon CC for our special day – it really was the best day of our lives.

We will never forget our trips in the golf buggy and the laughs we had along the way! Jo and Fiona we owe you more than words can ever say, you were nothing short of amazing throughout the planning and execution of our wedding day! Thank you again for making it so memorable!

Our wedding at Essendon Country Club was everything we ever dreamt of and more! From the moment we booked the venue, to after our wedding day! If anyone is looking for a venue to get married in, we would 100% recommend this place.

The team did an amazing job at setting majority of it up, I did not expect it all to be ready when we got there in the morning. I cried when I walked in and saw it all as I just didn’t expect it to look as beautiful as it did. I honestly thought I was going to walk in to empty tables waiting to be decorated!

So many guests complimented on the venue and how beautiful it is, the grounds as well. I even had a few guests say that if they got married, Essendon would be perfect for them - and I said I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!!

We had our food tasting session prior to the wedding day with Fiona which was full of yummy foods, was quite hard to pick what to have. We finalised on what we wanted, and even tweaked it slightly to suit our guests, Essendon were very accommodating! Food went down well on the day with all the guests - everyone loved it and complimented it. One of our guests had an unexpected procedure booked in for a few days after our wedding and the team were amazing at making up a separate meal very last minute for our guest - so thank you!!

We had a golf buggy ride after the ceremony, that was an experience! Was so lovely to leave all our guests to enjoy the drinks whilst we were off getting pictures around the beautiful grounds!

I honestly couldn’t thank the team at Essendon enough for everything they’ve done. Our parents kept saying how attentive, how professional, how polite, and accommodating the staff was (we couldn’t agree more!) - especially Jo, you really made everything run so smooth and the day just went beautifully. I want to do it all over again!! 

Jo and her team made sure that the morning of the wedding went so smoothly. I didn’t need to worry about anything, there was no stress at all. We had everything we needed during the morning and Jo kept checking in on us to make sure we were okay!

So basically, the best best venue and wedding co-ordinators. I’m so happy that our original venue was cancelled because 100% - we wouldn’t have got what we got with you guys. 

Thank you so much for everything. We really mean that from the bottom of our heart, we both loved every single moment of our wedding day, it went perfectly! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. 

Can’t recommend Essendon Country Club enough. We had our wedding day 03.05.2025 and I will never forgot it! Everyone said how beautiful the venue was. The whole team at Essendon are extremely helpful and communication was amazing! I can’t thank Jo and Fiona enough for everything they helped us with and answering all our questions. We wish we could do it all over again. The farm house is beautiful and was definitely a must to avoid any stress the morning of the wedding! Jo and Fiona and their team are absolutely amazing. They guided us through the whole process and had thought of everything. They are really accommodating and flexible and help you get the day just as you want it. The venue is stunning, food delicious and great to have some onsite accommodation too. Would 100% recommend!

We got married at Essendon in September 2023. The team at Essendon ensured that our wedding went smoothly from start to finish! We had a fantastic day and all of the guests commented on how lovely the venue was. Our wedding planner Fiona was very attentive throughout and also very flexible with our ever-changing minds and guest list! They listened to everything we wanted and went above and beyond to achieve this for us. I highly recommend to anyone considering choosing Essendon for their wedding venue!

My husband and I had a wonderful wedding, the best day ever, and the help and support of Essendon was a huge factor to that. From our first e-mail and meeting Fiona and Jo were so kind, welcoming and helpful. The menu tasting, the final meeting before the wedding and more made us feel we were in very safe hands. Fiona and Jo liaised with all of our suppliers which took a huge load off of our shoulders. On the day my dress got muddy and Fiona helped dry it with a hair dryer, such support for a bride on the day!
I could not recommend Essendon more. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and it all seemed so seamless.

We stumbled across Essendon Country Club by accident and it happened to be on an open day! We both instantly fell in love with the venue. We met Jo and she really didn’t need to sell it much to us because we were already sold- we did go see other venues but we had already set our heart on Essendon! Jo, Fiona and the whole team from day one till the wedding day have been nothing but amazing! Nothing was ever too much, they did all they could to make sure our wedding was perfect! Every request no matter how strange they always had a solution and it truly made such a difference! When it came to our actual wedding day again they were all amazing from start to finish- it sadly rained all day but it didn’t change a thing! We did everything we wanted regardless of the weather and that was down to the fantastic team. We loved the idea of some photos on the bridge, so Jo fixed us an umbrella and the golf buggy to get us there- again nothing was ever too much! We are both so grateful for making our day super special and a massive thank you for all you’ve done for us! Jo even made sure we got some canopy’s- we would have been lost without you!

Five stars doesn't do this venue justice! From the venue location and setting itself to the staff that managed our wedding from the very start to the first dance, everything was perfect.
This was the last venue we looked at, and we instantly knew it was the one for us.
Jo the wedding planner was amazing! She was cool, calm and very highly organised. Nothing was too much bother for her, and if any suppliers that she recommended to us gave us stress, she was on it. Our Wedding day couldn't have gone better or smoother. When we arrived at 7:30 we estimated that we would have everything ready by 10:30. I was ordering breakfast by 9am as the venue had put out and organised the barn exactly how we wanted. I can't tell you how much we appreciated this and how it got the day off on the right foot.
If you are planning your wedding, and looking for somewhere, book this lovely venue. You won't be disappointed.
