15 of the Best Wedding Venues in Devon

When it comes to wedding venues in Devon, you'll be spoilt for choice. From beachside coves to castles and inns, there's something for everyone here.

Rockbeare Manor

We’ve got to hand it to Devon, as a county it has one of the most varied wedding venue selections in the country. From coastal coves to festival havens and stately homes that the Queen herself would feel at home in, there is literally something for everyone in Devon.

The vast array of choice and the (seriously) high standard here made it tricky to narrow down our faves, but we’ve managed to select 15 amazing wedding venues in Devon to show you.

So, whether you’re a festival king or queen looking for a rustic oasis, a sea-loving couple in search of a beach-side bolthole or a bride or groom with royally big plans in mind, you’re going to want to keep scrolling.

1. The Venue at Sandy Cove – Ilfracombe

Sandy Cove is a contemporary venue with some of the most dramatic coastal views we’ve seen here at Hitched HQ. Here you can marry under the shade of a gazebo with the sea and shore as your backdrop as your guests take in the scene from amphitheatre-style seating. Even if the weather takes a turn for the worse, you can marry indoors while keeping the connection to the coast thanks to the floor to ceiling bifold doors.

The indoor space is also where you’ll enjoy award-winning food with your guests and with fibre optic lighting reminiscent of twinkling stars, your day will only get more magical as the sun sets. Which reminds us, sunset photos on the beach are a must if you marry at Sandy Cove.
