Our stunning barn seamlessly blends historic charm with modern design, creating a unique space for dining with up to 70 guests and hosting up to 100 guests in the evening. And yes, the barn lets you savor a mouth-watering meal from our skilled caterers, with the option to include our very own Brickhouse Vineyard wines.

Beautiful Venue
The setting is perfect for photos which you can take all around the venue and in the vineyard.

I didn’t really have a “vision” for the wedding but Brickhouse’s team put you in touch with a range of suppliers (we used Fig & Smoke for our three course meal and From The Wild as our florist) that totally transformed our day. I would fully recommend using their contacts and letting their experience guide the way. What’s even better is the venue is so beautiful itself you don’t need to get carried away with decor unless you want to.
The whole day was totally fantastic, I think I was worried to an extent with the level of detail weddings can go in to things would be over engineered but my god the whole experience was seamless and relaxed with the Brickhouse Team. Everyone from our amazing coordinator Becci to the incredible bar staff to Joanna the lovely owner.
For reference, we had 60 guests during the day with another 10 or so in the evening. I’d fully recommend the BHV Pizza in the evening too. They are also dog friendly so our Miniature Dachshund was able to join us.

The location is incredibly special to us it’s across the estuary from where my husband’s family live. I knew about the magnificent sunsets there, and it already felt like a place close to our hearts. Brickhouse also turned out to be one of the very few venues that could accommodate our wish for a small wedding, so we booked a viewing. It was the only venue we viewed and we didn’t need to see any others. It was perfect: the right size, remote, exclusive, and absolutely beautiful.
Meg showed us around with our dog, Maisie, and was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful. The venue itself is a perfect blank canvas you could leave it as it is and it would still be stunning, or add any colour or decoration, which was important to me as a wedding florist. The team went above and beyond with communication, especially since I wanted to do as many of my own flowers as possible. They made it easy to plan when I could access the space for setup, which made a huge difference.
We chose to go for an elopement day, which was slightly shorter and didn’t include the evening. The staff followed all of my instructions to ensure our guests had exactly what they wanted especially those requiring alcohol-free drinks and they made every guest feel included. Everyone we interacted with was lovely, from the bar team to Elley, who guided us through our final meeting and the wine selection, to the owner Joanna, who were genuinely supportive and thoughtful. They even helped with clear-up at the end of the day so we could move to our evening space stress-free, checking in on me throughout the process.
The venue itself was breathtaking in autumn (our favourite season) the vines were full of the most gorgeous colours, bursting with life. Brickhouse perfectly celebrated everything I love about this part of Devon, and the team went above and beyond to allow me to style and create the wedding I had always dreamed of. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough, it was perfect in every way.

We got married 2 weeks ago at Brickhouse Vineyard and genuinely I can say that we had the perfect experience. Genuinely faultless. As someone who is extremely detail orientated and creative minded I was a little apprehensive about finding the right venue (and team) to host our Big Day.
As soon as we drove into this venue and met (MARVELLOUS) Meg, I had a strong instinct that we were in the right place. We booked immediately and honestly it was the best decision we could have made. From pre-event communications through to supporting my creative vision and then through to on the day management and coordination.....faultless!
We enjoyed a beautiful day of true celebration without a single hitch or niggle. Everything was thought of and I could, as bride, totally relax in the knowledge that my 40 guests were totally taken care of. The venue was kept spotless and stunning throughout the day which I appreciated. Then when it came to packing down, I was astonished to realise Meg and the team had done literally everything for us. It meant that when I got home with all my crates it was so easy to unpack and organise from there. Such an invaluable gift to us!
If you are still on the fence then myself and my husband recommend booking a visit. The beauty of the venue and the amazing team will take it from there. Enjoy :)
