We found Thorpe Gardens whilst trying to find a venue that was equidistant between our core family groups (Litchfield and Leicester). We had heard about the quality of the food and liked the idea of a yurt over a tipi. Our first viewing was great, super helpful team and the chefs cooking some amazing smelling food for the wedding that day. Booking and planning was super easy and the team were always on hand to help with anything we needed. The food was insane, I'd recommended the feast if you're big eaters. We were concerned about the amount of waste created, even the staff said most people don't finish it all. The team helped us set up a token system for a free bar and took care of everything.

The only issues we had were around the communication between the businesses onsite. We booked Constantine House for our guests and the Glam Room to get ready in. Each business told us they were separate and it made it harder to understand what would happen when etc.

Other than that, the team were amazing and we loved every minute of it.

We got married recently at Thorpe Garden and it was an absolute dream! Stunning venue and the staff were so attentive and helpful, even helping me trying to clean my wedding dress when I got grass on it! The day was seamless and the food was delicious, all our guests agreed. The only negative is we only get to do it the once! Thank you to everyone for making our day so perfect and worry free!

From start to finish, the team were warm and professional - nothing was ever too much trouble. The venue itself is stunning, especially the beautiful walled garden - so many of our friends and family commented on how unique the setting was. The food was also fantastic, and the day ran so smoothly thanks to the amazing staff who worked so hard behind the scenes. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding! One of the best decisions we made & after having some guests moan about the travel.. they all said they could see why we chose this place. The staff cannot do enough for you, they wait on you and your guests hand and foot, each and every member of staff that worked our wedding was simply amazing, they where professional but also got involved and had a laugh with us and the guests, and oh the food! Wow the food was just incredible, from the taste to the way it was served and how smooth it was executed . It was such a relaxed yet elegant venue & we are just beyond happy that we chose this venue.

As soon as we viewed this venue we knew it was the one. We had a church wedding and then our wedding breakfast in the marquee. The staff were so friendly & responsive throughout the planning process & also on the day. Our guests have been raving about the food saying its the best wedding meal they've ever had. We had our wedding at Thorpe Garden at the end of August, and it was truly our dream day! After only visiting two venues, we immediately knew Thorpe Garden was "the one." From the moment we started planning to the day of the wedding, the team were exceptional. They were so lovely, attentive, and made us feel supported. They responded to our countless questions quickly and offered us advice to ensure everything was perfect.

There was a power issue on the morning of our wedding (due to the National Grid, no fault of the venue), but the team went above and beyond to make sure our day wasn’t impacted in the slightest. Every detail was taken care of, and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. A special shout-out to Tom, Lee, and Bailey, who truly went the extra mile to make our day unforgettable.

The food was delicious, with many of our guests commenting on how much they enjoyed it. The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful gardens and a cosy atmosphere inside.

Staying overnight at Constantine House was perfect, seeing our guests the next morning was so special, and the rooms were beautiful. Jo and her team really looked after us.

Thorpe Garden was a recommendation from another Cripps venue we saw and when we visited it was just so clear that this was going to be our wedding venue. We loved the walled garden and thought about how beautiful it would be in the early Summer with all the flowers and the outside games we wanted to set up during the reception. The yurt drew our attention because of its size and imagining the atmosphere inside during the food, speeches and dancing. The glass pavillion meant that we could separate our ceremony but still see the outside space with all the sun shining through. Everything about it was perfection. We had a wedding planner through booking the venue who helped us along the way and recommended a Feast Night to try out some of the food for our wedding -all delicious, and we’ve had so many compliments since on how good our food was! We also didn’t hire a dj but were able to set up our own music in the yurt for evening dancing which suited us brilliantly, not forgetting our own disco lights which we could plug in too. A wonderful day we’ll never forget.

The Yurt offered the perfect place to have our ceremony, and later on our evening reception. It's so beautiful in there, especially in the evening. Our wedding meal was served in the pavillion and it was amazing being able to see the open kitchen where the food was being prepared. Speaking of food...the meal was delicious, we had so many people come up to us and compliment the food, and the service was incredible. I could go on forever but this is truly the most perfect venue, and we couldn't have wished for a better day (it even rained and we didn't care!). The pavilion, where we held our ceremony, was breathtaking. Its large glass doors allowed the beauty of the outdoors to flood inside, creating a light-filled, serene atmosphere that was perfect for our vows. The yurt, where we had our wedding breakfast, was a unique and charming space. It's warm, rustic ambiance combined with elegant touches created a magical atmosphere that all our guests adored.

The staff at Thorpe Garden were nothing short of amazing. From our first visit to the day of the wedding, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel incredibly special and well taken care of. They handled every aspect of the day flawlessly, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. We recently got married in the stunning grounds of Thorpe Garden and it's safe to say, it was the best day ever! Thorpe Garden was the first venue we visited whilst wedding planning and we knew from the off that it was the perfect place for us. Not only are the grounds so naturally beautiful, the staff are wonderful and the food is incredible. It was a very easy decision. Throughout the planning process, we visited Thorpe Garden on numerous occasions, I even took my bridesmaids for a little preview. The staff were responsive and helpful. Our planning meeting went smoothly and they ensured that they had catered to our every need. The platform which you can message the venue is extremely useful as it allows you to receive prompt responses to your questions. From setting up to clearing away, the staff couldn't do enough for us. On the day, we loved the relaxed vibe and all of the staff at Thorpe Garden made sure we had the most amazing day. I would highly recommend this exceptional venue. Our guests have commented on the gorgeous picturesque grounds, the wonderful staff and the out of this world food. Our day was an absolute 10/10 thanks to Thorpe Garden!
