We couldn't recommend Thorpe Garden high enough. From the very first interactive, the staff were extremely attentive, quick to respond and (most importantly for us) completely transparent with costs. We felt like they really looked after us for the 12 month build up, answering all our many questions and making accommodations for us. All the staff felt like they genuinely cared about us having the best day and that really shines through their customer service.

The on the day staff were brilliant too, guiding us along without interrupting the flow of the day. They really allowed us to relax into the day and not worry about anything.

A lot of our guests travelled a fair distance from London and we had a lot of 'this is easily the best wedding venue we've been too' comments, which speaks volumes.

Also don't skip the feast nights! Great experience to get you excited for the big day

As soon as we viewed Thorpe Garden we feel in love. We loved the mixture of classic, contemporary and fun! We had our meal in the modern room which had brilliant views of the kitchen. We had our celebrant bless us in the old chapel. And we partied the night away in the yurt.
The staff have been attentive and passionate through out the whole experience. We could tell they love working in such an amazing venue.
We have had endless compliments about how good the food was, many saying it’s the best wedding breakfast they’ve ever had.
I could gush about the venue all day and I would 100% recommend viewing it, booking a Feast night and having your big day here!

We literally have no bad words to say about Thorpe.

From the day we first visited Thorpe communication was amazing! Any questions we had they would answer within a very reasonable response time! No question was too big or too silly! We had regular emails to remind us of payments. We could alter some meals for people’s specific preferences. We could book viewings in the lead up while planning and had the option to have a final planning meeting a week before our day with our key contact for the wedding, ours was the lovely Dani.

On the wedding day Dani and Jack and all other staff were amazing. They checked in with us, they ensured we had drinks, canapés and that our food was as we wanted it to be. We barely knew they were there, but they were working hard to ensure our day was exactly how we wanted it to be!

They ensured that our day went exactly as we had envisioned and smoothly!

We honestly do not have enough words to say just how incredible this venue is! We are only sad that we cannot do this all over again! And hope someone gets married here so we can experience this again in a different way!

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, there are 4 choices of where you can get married all equally beautiful (2 outside and 2 inside), and two choices of where you can have dinner (the yurt and the pavilion). The venue is very clearly well kept to ensure that it maintains an excellent standard including the gardens.

The bar is stunning and the snug is a perfect little space.

We also enjoyed that we had our own private little space, the bothy. We had a little room that we could go and hide to if we wanted 5 minutes alone, as well as our own toilet. Which for managing a wedding dress proved of great use!!! This had plenty of space for brides to store makeup to top up with throughout the day or anything else you may need.

One thing we initially had worries about was the sound limiter within the yurt for the evening, but honestly we did not need to be worried one bit! The band was perfect within this space!

All of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing staff were and how incredible the food was. Trust us you will not go away hungry from Thorpe! The portions are immense, we only wish we could take the food home or have bigger stomachs. And don’t get us started on the brownies!! 🤤🤤!! And the pizza in the evening was amazing!

We highly recommend attending a feast night, this allowed us to have a pre-wedding date night and helped us to choose what wines and food we wanted for our wedding! And we hope to be able to go back post wedding!

We had our day yesterday (04.08.2026) and wow. Our wedding coordinator for the day part was Beth! Beth is truly fantastic at what she does, the day ran absolutely perfect and we were not stressed in the slightest. She constantly went above and beyond and was checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed🥰 We had Matt for the evening who was equally incredible and made sure everything was running according to plan, we didn’t have to stress about a single thing knowing everything was in hand!🥰 We were so incredibly grateful to both Beth and Matt for being such a huge role in our special day💕 all of the staff are truly amazing, they are so friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble and they also included and took incredible care of our vendors! It really shows they all take so much pride in their work and they are an absolute asset to Thorpe Garden! Jack was incredible and again went above and beyond with everything, we could not have asked for better people🥰💕 The venue is absolutely stunning and all of our guests had incredibly lovely things to say! One of the biggest things talked about was the gorgeous venue, the incredible food (Just wow!! And the portion sizes, wow wow wow😍) and the incredibly kind staff! This venue has it all! It offers great spaces to use and each and every part of the venue is just as beautiful! We couldn't fault it, we fell in love with this venue as soon as we cam to view it.
Our wedding felt magical and not just because we were getting married but because of our surroundings too.
The staff are also so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much to ask and they are on hand all day and night to make sure you have everything that you need.
Lastly, we would like to mention how delicious the food was! All of our guests commented on how lovely it was and this included the evening pizzas which were a great hit!
We honestly cannot fault this venue and the staff and if we could do it all over again, we would do it exactly the same, right here at Thorpe Garden in a heartbeat.

Thorpe were brilliant throughout the whole wedding process. From our initial viewing they came across as incredibly professional and really put our minds at ease.

Throughout the planning process, there were super helpful with ideas and suggestions and were able to accommodate all our asks. The communication was really clear, and responded to questions quickly.

The day itself was brilliant, Beth, Tom & team really took care of everything allowing us to fully embrace ourselves in the day. Suppliers came and arrived without us even noticing! (And a lovely touch was the canapé board just for the bride and groom to make sure we ate amongst the mingling!).

But the main point of difference has to the be food. It was delicious and the first things many guests mentioned afterwards, was that they will remember the wedding for the food!

Being able to set everything up the day before was such a huge help and made all the difference. On our wedding day, it was extremely hot, but the team went above and beyond to keep us and our guests as comfortable as possible. They were constantly checking in to make sure we were okay and asking if we needed anything, which meant we could simply relax and enjoy every moment.

The food was absolutely incredible, the drinks were amazing, and our custom cocktails were perfect. Everything was presented beautifully and exceeded all of our expectations. Every detail had been thought about, and it really showed.

One of the most special moments of our day was releasing butterflies as a surprise for our guests, and the beautiful surroundings at Thorpe Garden made that moment even more magical. It was something we’ll treasure forever.

Thorpe Garden is an absolutely divine venue. The gardens and grounds speak for themselves from the moment you arrive - beautifully maintained, with something eye-catching wherever you look.

Throughout the lead-up to our wedding, communication from the team was incredible, with every question or request answered quickly and thoughtfully.

On the day itself, Danni and the team were on site helping with set-up and were an enormous support in taking away so much of the stress of the morning. During the wedding, the entire team were second to none, ensuring every guest was looked after and incredibly well fed with truly fantastic food.

In the evening, Tom continued that same level of excellence, making sure everything ran seamlessly right through to the end of the night.

The venue is absolutely breathtaking, from the grounds, the food stations to the Yurt, each part of this venue is incredible. This was the first place we viewed and was absolutely blown away.
From the very first point of contact to a check in after the wedding (thanks to Tom!) , it couldn't have been made easier for us. All of the front of house team were so friendly and really did make you feel asthough nothing was too much. On the day, our wedding coordinators Dani/Jack made sure both bride and groom had everything they could possibly want. Their effort for us to have the best day possible really was appreciated and beyond our expectation. All of the waiters/waitresses and bar staff were incredibly friendly and accommodated all of our guests needs all day and night. Then there was the food... absolutely delicious! Hats off to the wonderful chefs, every single part of our dinner was outstanding. Virtually every guest commented on how lovely the food was and how generous the portions were.

We had multiple people state that it was one of the best venues they have ever been to, even a few said they might look into getting married there!

Thorpe Gardens is truly the most wonderful wedding venue. We couldn’t have asked for anything more than what the great staff at Thorpe were able to provide.

Firstly, the venue is stunning. The gardens are so well cared for and every little detail shone through.

From the initial walk around, to the planning meeting, and then the big day, the staff were superb. Beth met us with a little drink shortly after walking back down the aisle (which was needed given it was so hot!), gave us slightly extra time for the canapés because I was slightly late to meet the registrar (whoops - sorry again) and then the food. The food was incredible and everyone has said so. We chose the Garden Feast menu and there were plenty of options and everything was delicious! The wine was so tasty and mostly all of it was drunk.

They arranged the cake cutting so well and the staff were so attentive the whole day.

We are so so happy we chose to wed at Thorpe Gardens, the perfect, most dreamy day we’ve ever had!

Thorpe Garden, what an absolutely stunning venue! As soon as we viewed it we knew we wanted to get married there and it honestly was one of the best days of our lives. We didn't use much venue decor because it's just so beautiful it doesn't need it. We had SO many guests comment on how amazing the venue was as it's so unique.
The level of service we received from point of enquiry through to after the wedding has been incredible. Emails were replied to quickly, questions answered with no bother and they literally went above and beyond to make sure every detail was covered so that we could enjoy our wedding day with no stress.

Our actual wedding day was out of this world. The set up was completely taken care of and they did such an amazing job. Beth and Leah our coordinators for the day/ evening were SO lovely and nothing ever felt too much bother for them. Everything we had asked to be done on the day was done without hesitation. We didn't need to worry about anything, it was all quietly taken care of which just allowed us to enjoy every second. We were saved a specific board of canapes to ensure that as the bride and groom we got to enjoy them, which was wonderful and just an example of the level of service we received. Even our guests acknowledged how attentive the staff were, picking up on things and offering help before our guests needed to even ask.

Then there is the food..oh my goodness, it was literally INSANE!! SO tasty and SO much of it. No guest was left hungry that's for sure! We honestly cannot thank Thorpe Garden enough for our absolute dream wedding! We are still on cloud 9 now and will be for a long time to come!!
