Blackbrook barns blew us away from the minute we visited!

We were first shown around by Rebecca who was so welcoming, accommodating and helpful!
We sat in the car to leave and both said this was the place we wanted to get married.

The venue itself is breathtaking, the meetings before were well planned and brought to our attention everything we needed to consider.
Gary organised the meetings and the day itself and his attention to detail was phenomenal. Nothing is too much and the day itself ran incredibly smoothly because of this. Gary even provided the bridal party a last minute drink of water before we walked down the isle as he clearly knows what you need before you know you need it.

The team at Blackbrook barns are a force and we couldn't recommend them enough!

Jenkinsons provided the food and we had many guests stating it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We couldn't agree more!

From start to finish the staff at Blackbrook barns made our dreams come through, there was nothing they wouldn’t do for us from the day we booked up until the day after our wedding day. We can’t thank Lisa and Gary enough for making our wedding day so special from start to finish! It was truly the best day of our lives and it was due to the seamless planning and professionalism of Lisa our events manager and also Gary and the team on the day. From the beginning, Lisa made us feel so comfortable and at ease with our plans even though we were both nervous. She went through everything in detail and was so professional, she went above and beyond also messaging on WhatsApp for anything we needed, as an events manager myself it’s hard to let go and was worried about this element but wow Lisa was just incredible! On the day I didn’t have to think about anything, she was there for every moment to guide myself and Joe through timings and where we needed to be. The day ran so smoothly and everything we envisioned came to life, even better than we could’ve ever imagined! The venues beautiful, the catering was amazing and the team are just the best! If we could do it all over again we would! A huge thank you to Lisa and Gary and also the co owner Lisa who was so lovely and showed us around and was also contacting us via WhatsApp if we needed anything! We booked with Blackbrook Barns when they had only just opened so we knew it was a bit of a risk. Turns out it was well worth taking because they were amazing to work with! Lisa T was our venue coordinator - she was friendly, knowledgable, organised and an all round pleasure to work with. The venue itself is great with different areas to make use of (ceremony, bar, reception area, getting ready rooms, courtyard, woodland). The decor is super modern and everything in great condition. Would highly recommend.

Myself and my husband eloped in Las Vegas and we decided to have an evening ceremony to celebrate with our family and friends. From day 1 when we viewed Blackbrook barns we booked in straight away. The venue is just amazing and was perfect for our celebrations! All the staff were just great and very accommodating… we worked with Lisa who was perfect and accommodated all of my questions and brought my vision to life! Lisa was very attentive and made the night run so smoothly which was such an ease of mind for me. Lisa truly went above and beyond! Cannot recommend Blackbrook barns enough, book now!

Blackbrook was the most incredible venue for our wedding day in September 2025! The staff from start to finish were super attentive and helpful. Lisa, our wedding planner, made the whole day run so smoothly.
The morning spent getting ready in the gorgeous rooms upstairs was so relaxing and just what I needed before walking down the aisle.
All of our guests commented on how amazing the food served was.
This was the first venue we looked at in our wedding venue search and are so happy we decided to book with them, it is a gorgeous venue.

We honestly don’t have enough words to thank our incredible wedding venue team for making our special day absolutely perfect. From the moment we found Blackbrook Barns — we knew it was the one. It felt like home straight away, and throughout the entire planning process and wedding day itself, that feeling only grew stronger.

The team went above and beyond in every single way. No idea was too big or too small — from personalised drink toppers and custom signage to our DIY decorations, they supported it all with enthusiasm, care, and a genuine desire to bring our vision to life. They even made sure our dog Toby felt totally at ease and part of the celebration, which meant the world to us.

A huge thank you to Lisa and Lisa, who helped us through the first six months of planning and were always there with guidance, support, and encouragement. You helped us shape the day into something we’ll never forget.

And a MASSIVE shoutout to Gary — the hero of the day — who ran everything behind the scenes with calm confidence and made sure every single moment ran smoothly. You truly made every wish come true and gave us the gift of being able to fully enjoy our day without a worry.

And to Naomi — thank you for looking after us and our guests with such warmth and attentiveness all the way through to midnight. You made us feel completely looked after and cared for, which didn’t go unnoticed.

Our day was everything we hoped for and more, and that’s entirely down to the wonderful people who brought it all together at Blackbrook. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We only visited one venue in our search for a place to have our wedding, and once we'd seen Blackbrook Barns we knew we didn't need to look anywhere else! The entire venue is beautiful, full of character and has been perfectly thought through to make the day flow as seamlessly as possible. Having booked when the venue was still very new, we were lucky to get a very good deal on the price ... but it would have been great value at double the cost! The Blackbrook Barns team were friendly, welcoming and approachable at all stages of the process, and were always there to help us with any queries about the planning. It was so useful to have meetings at the venue at 6 months and 6 weeks before the wedding, to meet the team and get to know the venue ahead of the big day. On the day itself our host, Gary, was warm, made us feel at ease, and wasn't phased by any of the last-minute changes and issues on the day (including some extra guests showing up!). All of the staff were brilliant, and the in-house caterers, Jenkinson's, provided a delicious meal that was well above your typical "wedding food" standard! Even though we had torrential rain all day, it didn't matter because the venue manages to feel cosy, yet houses everyone indoors without getting cramped! We cannot recommend Blackbrook Barns highly enough and would definitely book again for parties and occasions in the future. Thank you to the whole Blackbrook Barns team!

Lisa and Lisa (!) were indeed helpful in getting our birthday party organised at Blackbrook barns. They were accomodative and they understood our needs. They helped us with getting various things sorted to make our event a great success. The venue was nicely located outside a busy city. The venue was not only in a good condition but also had the facilities to include a bar. We would certainly recommend this venue and their services for celebrating for occasions.

We got married at Blackbrook, with only 9 months of planning time due to previous venues cancelling our date. We married on Halloween and we couldn’t fault a single thing. From the first look round Rebecca put us at ease, answered all of our questions and made us feel like nothing was too much hassle. She made it possible for all of our previous bits of planning to take place so that we didn’t loose out. We didn’t think it could get much better and when we were introduced to our wedding coordinator Lisa we honestly felt like we’d struck gold. The day was perfect, the staff worked tirelessly, they hauled pumpkins from the venues to the woods so we could get the spooky pictures we’d dreamt about. We had a team of helpers on hand the day before to help us set up and what we’d envisioned to be a diy wedding turned into a all hands on deck affair, we couldn’t be more grateful. We’d recommend this venue and their wonderful staff to everyone. The communication was brilliant, the rooms were beautiful and the space worked so well for everything we wanted. 🎃🧡 D&C

We cannot thank Gary and the Blackbrook Barns team enough for making our wedding day the happiest day of our lives. From the moment we visited the venue, the entire team made us feel comfortable and right at home. The planning process was easy and straight forward, with Gary being in regular contact and arranging meetings so we could run through the finer details for the day. The team made our lives so easy and organised everything for us, so we had no worries at all. On the day, we made good use of the beautiful bride and grooms’ rooms, with the delicious breakfast platter and drinks all set out for us. Gary and the team looked after us all day, ensuring everything ran smoothly, that we were on schedule and took care of speaking to our suppliers so all we had to do was relax and enjoy our day.

The venue is simply stunning, with beautiful, exposed brickwork, foliage, and amazing lighting, and it meant we could keep our own decorations nice and simple, reducing the overall cost and keeping the planning stress-free. The food and drink was also perfect, the food was delicious, piping hot and the portions were very generous.

Matt and I loved every second of our wedding at Blackbrook Barns, our only wish is that we could turn back time and do it all again! We had amazing feedback from our guests as well who all had the best time, they loved the venue, the food and everything about the whole day.

The team at Blackbrook were incredibly accommodating and made sure our event went perfectly. We can't recommend them enough, they honestly felt like part of the family and everyone who attended commented on how lovely the venue and the staff were. Thank you!
