Everything about Capesthorne Hall is fantastic. Brilliant value for such a stunning venue - it’s beautiful in its own right so we found we didn’t spend as much on flowers / decor as we may have done elsewhere. Everyone connected to the venue is brilliant; the catering was incredible - our guests are still talking about the food 3 months later! Lucy was our wedding co-ordinator and made the whole process so easy. She’s so friendly, responsive, efficient - I genuinely couldn’t recommend her or the venue more highly.

We needed a venue that would hold a large daytime party (130) + more for the evening. We were wowed the moment we viewed Heaton House Farm and wow did we make the right decision. It was our wedding last week (early oct) and all of our guests commented how stunning the venue was. Jo our wedding coordinator was amazing and the food was stunning. The whole day ran like clockwork. All of the team including the catering staff are fabulous and make you feel really special on your day. If you are looking for a venue with versatility, great food and wonderful staff then do not hesitate to book here.

From start to finish our experience getting married at Hilltop has been utterly fantastic. It was the first and only venue we looked at as we fell in love with it instantly. I still remember our first visit with Clare showing us around the house and grounds. She is so warm, calm, witty, professional and clearly an expert at what she does. We knew from that first day we were going to be looked after well! We both remember how it instantly felt like home and the Winnie the Pooh illustrations, sheep and cows in the surrounding fields and Penny the resident cat all just added to the reasons it was perfect for us! Leah our wedding co-ordinator was incredible throughout the planning process. Always helpful, alway efficient and just lovely to have a chat with. She would answer my millions of emails and questions with a smile and was always so helpful in arranging visits to help with planning decor and showing my in laws (who live abroad) the venue when they came over to visit. I’m quite ‘type A’ when it comes to organising and running things and one of the things I worried about during wedding planning was that I would be stressed on the day having to coordinate things and deal with last minute hiccups and I would miss out on enjoying things because of this. Well having Leah absolutely quelled any anxiety about this. She lifted all the weight from my shoulders and ran the day seamlessly and perfectly and it was everything we wanted. I spent the day soaking up every moment with my husband and our friends and family and honestly didn’t worry once about what was happening next. I cannot thank her enough for all her hard work. She is truly a star. All the staff at Hilltop were brilliant and all our guest commented on how friendly and helpful the serving and bar staff were. The grounds and gardens are immaculate and just the most beautiful relaxed place to spend your wedding day. Another thing that really shines at Hilltop is the food and drink! The menu choices, the local produce and it’s all just delicious. We are a big foody family and we were blown away with the quality (and quantity) of the food. We had a lovely tasting evening earlier in the year and knew we were in for a treat. Our guests all commented on how brilliant the food was from canapes to wedding breakfast to the evening pizzas! Icing of the cake was them sourcing a load of Coke Zeros for me for the welcome drinks, creating a bespoke cocktail based on our cat and the staff having a heart shaped pizza delivered to the bridal suite for us before we went to bed. What stood out most to me is how Hilltop made it feel like our wedding was the only one taking place- like it was the one and only event they had to run that year and all the focus was on us- whilst also having the calm, professional competence and expertise that they do this this everyday and that we were in the safest hands. Hilltop really feels like a home and was the perfect setting for our wedding. It will always be a special place for us and we are forever grateful to Leah, Clare and all the wonderful team who made our wedding day so magical. Jenny and Kostas Xxx
