We couldn’t have chosen a more beautiful venue for our wedding. Every part of it feels magical, and it was absolutely perfect for us. We loved how the day naturally flowed from the Herbaceous Border, into the main house and then through to Olympia in the evening. Each setting felt completely different and made the whole day feel so special. A huge thank you to Millie and Ashley, our wedding coordinators, who were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. In the lead-up to the wedding, they were always on hand to answer our questions, accommodate any changes and help with anything we needed. They were both so calm, professional and reassuring, which made us feel completely at ease in the run-up to such a big day. On the day itself, Ashley was incredible at making sure everything ran smoothly. As the bride and groom, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment without having to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. Millie was equally amazing throughout the evening and went above and beyond—even making sure I had all the correct accessories when I got onto the dance floor! The venue itself is truly incredible, and our guests were absolutely blown away by how beautiful it is. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It gave us the most magical day, and we couldn’t be more grateful to the whole team for making it so special.

Everything about Capesthorne Hall is fantastic. Brilliant value for such a stunning venue - it’s beautiful in its own right so we found we didn’t spend as much on flowers / decor as we may have done elsewhere. Everyone connected to the venue is brilliant; the catering was incredible - our guests are still talking about the food 3 months later! Lucy was our wedding co-ordinator and made the whole process so easy. She’s so friendly, responsive, efficient - I genuinely couldn’t recommend her or the venue more highly.

Inglewood Manor was absolutely exceptional from start to finish, and easily deserves a full five stars. The value for money was outstanding — the venue delivers a premium, elegant experience without the inflated pricing you find elsewhere. They were honest, flexible, and genuinely supportive when it came to meeting our budget, with no hidden costs or upselling. The staff were professional, calm, and incredibly welcoming, keeping everything running smoothly while making us feel completely looked after. The manor itself is stunning, the grounds are immaculate, and the whole atmosphere feels warm, intimate, and effortlessly special. A perfect wedding venue in every way.

We are incredibly grateful to you and the entire team for making our wedding day so seamless and memorable. We are incredibly glad we chose Mottram as our venue, we viewed around 10 venues and they all had various drawbacks that we didn’t like, but Mottram ticked every box and made us so welcome. A special shoutout to Paul, who was fantastic behind the scenes. Thanks to all the hard work and attention to detail, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in safe hands. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff throughout the day. The bar was exceptionally well staffed, meaning guests were served quickly and nobody had to wait long for drinks. Peter, our toastmaster, was also wonderful and helped the day run smoothly. I’d also like to pass on my thanks to the gentleman who steamed the top table linen for me. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but the effort was greatly appreciated and certainly did not go unnoticed. Overall, it was absolutely fantastic and truly the best day of our lives. I am beyond thrilled to write this review for Wrenbury Hall as our wedding venue. From the moment we stepped foot on the grounds, we knew it was the perfect place to exchange our vows and celebrate the beginning of our forever. I must first mention how stunning Wrenbury Hall is. It exudes elegance and charm from every corner, making it the epitome of a fairytale wedding venue. The picturesque gardens, the breathtaking architecture, and the overall ambiance create an enchanting atmosphere that is simply unmatched. I actually fell in love with Wrenbury Hall five years before getting engaged, when searching online with a friend for her venue, and I knew in my heart that it had to be the place where I would say "I do." The staff at Wrenbury Hall were an absolute dream to work with. From our very first meeting until the moment, we said goodbye after our wedding, they were nothing short of exceptional. The team was incredibly helpful, accommodating, and genuinely kind throughout the entire planning process. No request was too big or small, and they went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of. Their attention to detail and passion for creating the perfect experience for us and our guests was truly remarkable. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, my goodness, the food! It was sensational. Our guests are still raving about it, with many declaring it the best food they have ever tasted at a wedding. The menu options were extensive, and the quality of the dishes was absolutely outstanding. From the canapés, to appetisers to the main course and onto the delectable desserts, every bite was a culinary delight. The presentation was exquisite, and the flavours were simply unforgettable. We got married at Colshaw in Sep26, having booked way back in Feb24. We had been to 5-6 other venues prior but nothing compared. On the day we first viewed, they met us from near the car park, took our name and welcomed us into their main entrance where we were given a brochure and introduced to Kirsty who was going to show us round. We had a full guided tour (the only venue we’d viewed that did this) which made us feel like VIPs right from the start! We were walked around every space, talked through how they work, what a wedding day looks like for them, and what is included in a Colshaw booking. I remember looking at Rhi in the Peele Suite and smiling and nodding… I think we both knew this was the one. As we continued the tour, prosecco in hand, we were greeted by every member of staff, Angelo in the bus took us to the lodges, we even got to say hello to David. Everyone we met was so welcoming, polite, and very clearly proud to be a member of staff at Colshaw. As we were leaving to go home, we stopped one last time in the ceremony room, which was empty, save for the toastmaster and Ben Clarke (Pianist) who we spoke to and offered Rhi with a chance to do a mock walk in. Ben played one of our favourite songs for us and I got to watch the doors open and my fiancee walked down causing both of us to burst into tears! This memory, along with our lovely tour, was one of the many reason we booked. Let me tell you, there is NO request too big for this team! We followed up with visits from both close family members, another 2-3 visits for us, and countless questions over email. Every single time the staff were friendly, fell over us, and really made us feel special. It is also a testament to the management team at Colshaw that they never stop and just rest on their profit. In the time between our booking and our wedding date, they renovated the ceremony room, added a stunning waterfall, revamped the space outside the front of the ceremony room, updated their bar area, moved the toilets, added a stunning outdoor cocktail bar, added the pergola in the walled garden, sculpted and upgraded the spaces outside the lodges, moved their bridal makeup room and created an amazing “reveal curtain” space. They also added the BriteBiz software which was a great planning paltform with so much info was added from both us and the team meaning we didn’t have to remember anything as it was all recorded there and worked great for clarity when planning seating plans etc. It has the ability to take payments online too - a welcome relief from the many bank transfers you have to do when planning a wedding! There’s probably more we’ve forgotten but one thing was clear to us - they never saw their venue as perfect and would ask “what can we do to make this place better” which is an amazing (and rare) attitude for a venue to have. We had a lovely tour and talk with Tracy in the evening on our -1 year anniversary, which was so special. We got to experience the place at night, again stunning, the interior and exterior lighting just made the place pop. Closer to the big day, we had our final meet with Vicky. We ran through everything we’d already added to our BriteBiz account, plus has the opportunity to ask endless questions which Vicky was able to answer - again, we just felt safe and reassured that these guys have got it sorted. We booked to stay with our families the night before in the lodges and some pods, which I would highly recommend. One of our coordinators, Janice, came to greet us, and talked though some of the detail for the day of. On the day, the team fell over Rhi and her bridal party. Ali was superb at fielding questions from everyone else - allowing Rhi to fully enjoy her morning. Ali also came over to the boys in our lodge, introduced herself and what was going to happen across the day. Again, just offering herself to answer any question and be the go to person. As the morning went on, we moved into the house and den respectively. On my side the toastmaster joined us (part of the Colshaw package) and helped the guys into suits and made sure all details were correct. This meant both Rhi and I had support whilst we were separate. As guests were arriving and we were greeting everyone in the pavilion, I had some nerves and just wanted to check in. Our toastmaster found Ali for me in the Peele suite and we went over a few details again. I could tell she saw my stress and just stepped in, checked all my worries, and said “don't worry, I’ve got this!”. Throughout the day, we were overwhelmed with how smooth everything went. The staff were no doubt working hard in the background but nothing was visible. As I said before, we were held and managed the whole day. When it came time for the team to leave for the evening we were introduced to Keith, the night manager, who again looked after us at several points, kept checking in, looked after drinks, phones and gifts whilst we were pulled in different directions. Breakfast in the morning was stunning, the orangey is a beautiful spot to bring guests back together the morning after. Even their cleaning staff were impeccable. As we were packing up and loading the cars, I was caught at several points talking to the staff who helped me pack everything and checked corners, closets and bathrooms for me to make sure we didn’t forget anything. We set out, early on, to put on the event of the year for us and for our guests…and was it ever. The calibre of Colshaw Hall as a wedding venue is second to none. If you are reading this, looking for a horror story, or for reality to be less than expected, give up now. Book it and don’t look back. IT.IS.WORTH.IT. To everyone that works at Colshaw, garden staff, bartenders, office team, coordinators - we will be forever grateful to you all. You gave us the platform to share our love and our vision with our friends and family. Whilst we don’t have the excuse to come visit and see for ourselves anymore, we will continue to follow Colshaw and can’t wait to see what you guys have in store for the future. We honestly couldn’t recommend Merrydale Manor enough. We stayed for two nights, the night before our wedding and the night of the wedding, and had all of the accommodation available. Some of our guests also stayed at The Dog, the local pub, and Merrydale arranged transport for around 40 of our guests there and back for our meal the evening before. It made everything so easy and meant we could all relax and enjoy the evening together. From the moment we arrived, the team couldn’t do enough for us. They helped us unpack and get everything ready for the next day, and were always nearby if we needed anything. They made sure our guests knew where to go for breakfast and arranged a private breakfast for the bridal party in the house so we wouldn’t be seen by other guests. On the wedding day, the team were so organised and helpful. I felt completely relaxed knowing we were in such good hands. Chloe was an absolute star over the two days and I honestly don’t think the day would have run as smoothly without her. She was there for anything I needed that morning, helped pass things between the bridal suite and the groom’s room, and even helped sort my dress out for the evening. A few guests needed little things during the stay, like a hairdryer or a mirror, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The team also helped tidy everything away and made sure the day ran as smoothly as possible. I even got a little teary saying goodbye to Chloe the next day. She had been such a lovely part of the best day of our lives, and I couldn’t thank her enough. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and all of our guests commented on how perfect it was. It was also so lovely to meet the owner before the wedding and speak with him on the day; it made the whole experience feel even more personal. The team were wonderful throughout the planning process too. They were always there to answer questions and never made me feel that anything was silly. The forms and itinerary they provided from the outset were a huge help and made planning feel so straightforward. Breakfast was incredible as well: a lovely light breakfast on the wedding morning, followed by a full English the next day that we could enjoy with all our guests. Such a lovely way to end the celebrations. Everything about our stay and wedding was perfect. We made the best memories at the most beautiful venue, with the most wonderful team looking after us. Our only complaint is that it was so perfect that we wish we could do it all over again! Thank you so much, Merrydale Manor, for giving us the best day of our lives and again a huge thanks to Chloe!

We booked Old Palace Chester (OPC) for our daughters wedding and it was nothing but an amazing experience. From the dedicated staff who attend to your every need to the fabulous building inside and out the beautifully kept grounds, in house catering and everyone involved behind the scenes. It truly was a fantastic day. The whole day and night ran smoothly and every detail was covered. We were kept up to date during the wedding preparations and met regularly with the dedicated team. The staff are so friendly and professional. I cant wait to visit OPC again as a wedding guest. It truly is a magical place.

Tabley House was excellent. The staff and volunteers were helpful throughout the whole process, from viewing through to the big day. We wanted somewhere historic and grand and Tabley certainly met those criteria. It was intimate without feeling small, and being able to have our photographs taken throughout the house gave us some stunning images. Its location was also ideal being rural but less than 5 minutes from junction 19 on the M6 made it easy for our guests to get to without having to compromise on the views, and being close to Knutsford gave us plenty of choice for where to host our evening part of the day.
