Stately Home Wedding Venues in Cheshire

My husband and I were recently married at Arley Hall, and the level of service we received was beyond exceptional. Ashley and Millie removed any stress whatsoever from the day, everything ran incredibly smoothly, and we were fully immersed in the enjoyment of the day. Many of our guests came to us to praise the staff, and the beauty of the venue was breathtaking. It was so great to be able to have every aspect of our wedding in one venue, but different locations - the day felt different at different points, but our guests weren’t required to travel. The food at this venue is provided by Barretts - and wow, was it fantastic. Myself and much of my family are vegetarian, and I was told by many family members it was the best wedding food they had ever received. We cannot recommend this venue enough. There wasn’t a single aspect of our day that wasn’t absolutely perfect.

We had our wedding here this year. The venue is beautiful, and the on site accommodation is very modern and very reasonably priced. The communal breakfast area overlooking the lake is a lovely way to debrief the next morning. The team at Capesthorne are very experienced at holding weddings and they can easily answer every question you put to them promptly- Lucy in particular is excellent! The house itself has so much character - our guests loved wandering the grounds whilst we had our photos taken and the ceremony room is beautiful. Theres so many gorgeous spots to take professional pictures. There is a caravan park on site but its not in view of the wedding at all and the gardens and hall are exclusive for the day so it didnt bother us. The atmosphere felt very relaxed with the team and we didnt feel like we were on a conveyor belt of weddings which was really important to us. We will be coming back just to stay on site again!

Inglewood Manor is a beautiful venue with first class service. Our wedding was out of this world and we have the photos to prove it! The staff were attentive to all our needs and they made the day flow so easily, just what we wanted. The scenery surrounding the Manor is breathtaking and makes for some really special photos. We were issued with information for lots of people that helped to make our wedding one for the history books. Special mention to our photographer, Jason Howard, and our ToastMaster Chris Caroe. We got married October 2024 and had the most wonderful day! From when we booked our day to the days after, the professionalism and service was amazing. All the guests and vendors commented on how well organised everything was, the whole day ran so smoothly, we felt totally relaxed and looked after.. I would highly recommend Mottram hall to anyone getting married, the value for money is out of this world!

From the moment we visited colshaw hall we knew we wanted to get married there. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and the place itself is out of this world. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the place is and how the staff can not do enough for you. Would million percent recommend we wish we could do it all over again.

Getting married at Merrydale is a truly wonderful experience, and if you’re lucky enough to have the option to get married there - don’t think twice! The exceptional grounds speak for themselves, but there’s so much more to Merrydale than what instantly meets your eyes as you enter the premises. Everything is immaculate, the attention to detail is second to none. The ceremony room, Merrydale Suite, the makeup room, the Cave, the rooms & more are all just exquisite. If you want to have a stress free wedding day and not even have to think about what your own name is, then Merrydale is the place for you. The staff - including the wedding planners, toastmaster, Barrett’s - are simply incredible. Everything ran like a military operation on the day, which allowed everyone to relax and enjoy themselves completely. The compliments we got from our guests on everything - from the grounds, atmosphere, food, service - were in abundance. I wish I could relive my wedding day as it was beyond special.

From the minute you enter to even look around you are looked after so well any questions you have they answer if they don’t know the answer there and then they’ll make sure to email or call you back . Booking process was really easy . You could go and visit all the time with friends and family or photographer. They were always on hand ,The day of our wedding they work so seamlessly behind the scene you don’t even know they’re there. Anything and everything’s been done if you need anything I’ll be there to help you and making sure your guest have drinks the food is out in time and everyone’s just having a really good time. Food was absolutely amazing cocktails out of this world. The night time we had pizza which was a really hit . We had our wedding on the 4th of November 2024 and a year later so we’re still in a bubble over how amazing our venue and our day went. It was all thanks to his amazing team our old Palace everything they did was above and beyond and we’ll always be grateful for everything they did for us . Was definitely worth the money. To have our dream wedding.

Tabley House was excellent. The staff and volunteers were helpful throughout the whole process, from viewing through to the big day. We wanted somewhere historic and grand and Tabley certainly met those criteria. It was intimate without feeling small, and being able to have our photographs taken throughout the house gave us some stunning images. Its location was also ideal being rural but less than 5 minutes from junction 19 on the M6 made it easy for our guests to get to without having to compromise on the views, and being close to Knutsford gave us plenty of choice for where to host our evening part of the day.
