We recently celebrated our wedding on 25th May 2025 at The Alderley Edge Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, Linda, Lucy and the team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and attention to detail. Food: The menu was outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. Our guests are still talking about the quality and variety of the food. Dietary requirements were handled seamlessly, which made everyone feel cared for. We catered for Coeliac and Vegan guests. Service: The service throughout the day was impeccable. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Drinks were topped up promptly, and the timing of each course was perfect. The team even managed to hold off the rain until all of photo's were taking in the beautiful gardens. Professionalism: Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Lucy made it effortless. Communication was clear and timely, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. On the day, everything was organized to perfection, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. We couldn’t recommend The Alderley Edge Hotel highly enough for couples looking for a venue that combines elegance, outstanding food, and exceptional service.

My husband and I were married at Stannylands in 2002, we have been back for anniversay's and have always been treated like stars. On our day the staff made us so welcome and made the day perfect. I have nothing but praise and delight for this hotel. The food is a delight and all my guests were very impressed. Everyone enjoyed themselves. A wonderful place to get married or celebrate.

Our wedding was perfect from start to finish! A huge thankyou to all the staff at Ryland's Farmhouse, they couldn't of been better. From our very first meeting at a showcase day right up until the big day itself, nothing was to much trouble. Always ensuring a stress free and exciting experience all round. The venue itself is stunning, the rooms are beautiful and the setting is simply perfect. We didn't need to view multiple venues, Rylands had our heart. Again thankyou so much, The Slaters

We had our wedding in July 24 after booking the venue in the April. Kate was fantastic throughout, from initial viewings (I went twice each with a different bridesmaid) through to the morning after. She made sure the day was perfect and even better than what we could have imagined. We had a smaller wedding for during the day (45a 10c) (we didn't hold the ceremony at the venue as this had been booked elsewhere previously) and the room was set up for the breakfast perfectly for us, enclosing part of the room to allow a secondary entrance for us (and a place for the kids to let off some steam during the speeches with the adults needing to worry about them running off as they were still within the room), the room change over was managed perfectly so once we returned form our couples photos, taken on the grounds, the party was already underway. Kate was very communicative and tailored the package to suit our wants, even on the morning of the wedding when my husband decided to add elements to the package. The food was amazing. We opted for the melon, chicken dinner and cheesecake for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how nice the food was, the chicken was lovely and juicy and flavoured perfectly. We unfortunately missed the evening buffet but have been told how lovely this was too, we did have pizzas the night before and loved the selection available. We were also so fortunate to be one of the first wedding to utilise the 'Bridal Dressing Room' which was available for us from the evening before through to the morning after (I stayed the night before with both bridesmaids, their families and my MIL) meaning we could ensure all the dresses were wedding day ready with plenty of space for us all to get made up and our hair done and it also gave us newly weds a space to quickly freshen up once arriving back from the ceremony prior to checking into the complimentary bridal suite later in the evening. All the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially Kate, and we would say, hand on heart, our day could not have been in better hands and honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly or as well anywhere else.

Wow, just wow. We got married at Styal Lodge last week and the day exceeded all our expectations(and we had high expectations already from reading all the reviews and seeing the awards and recognitions the venue and team had received). It was a magical day, that went perfectly, literally nothing went wrong. Bethan our wedding coordinator bossed everything, she went above and beyond the whole day. She was there behind the scenes helping with every little detail to ensure the day went perfectly. Whether that was helping dry the flowers or fixing my veil & train, to ensuring we had a kick of dutch courage before our speeches, absolute vibes. Our day would not have been so special if it wasn't for Bethan and all the extra care she put in to ensure the day went the best it could for us, it felt so personal, and it didn't go unnoticed. We knew as soon as we stepped into the venue for our viewing and met the Lodge team that our day was going to be in very safe hands, It is no surprise Bethan & Laura have received so much recognition alongside the venue. It is so clear they are passionate about what they do here. The staff as a whole, were amazing. Above and beyond for both ourselves and every single guest. Everyone was super friendly and full of enthusiasm throughout the whole day, going out their way in times when they didn't have to, not only to ensure us, the couple had a perfect day, but all our guests too. We haven't stopped receiving floods of praise from our guests complimenting Bethan and the lodge staff as a whole. We can easily say that was the best day of our lives, and we just keep saying, how thankful we are that we went with Styal Lodge, what a venue. From the bottom of our heart, thank you so much for giving us a day we will remember so fondly for the rest of our lives, and all our guests can say the same too. If you are thinking of booking this venue for your wedding or any event, do it, its perfect. I hope we end up at a wedding here again in the future, magical place.

Wow where do I start! We loved the size of the room from the moment we saw the Pinewood, and wanted the flexibility of having several hotel rooms with family coming from all over. The hotel were always flexible with us and allocated us more rooms when we sold the first lot. Our bridal suite was massive, fantastic for getting ready. So spacious and clean! From arriving the night before the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Craig was on hand for everything and was a lifesaver in critical moments like losing a button off my wedding dress moments before!! With the hotel even providing a sewing kit to fix it. They brought breakfast to our room the morning of, and throughout the whole day had us as priority making sure we were ok. The room for the wedding breakfast was beautifully set up, with my full vision coming to life with a massive help to all the staff listening and taking so much care and time to put everything exactly how we wanted it. Same again with the evening turn around. It felt so effortless and seamless and all the staff were truly amazing. The food was incredible and even weeks after people are still saying how good the food was! They even accompanied for our fussy teenagers! We had a slight hiccup with something supplied from an external company which had the wrong wedding date on it… Lily stepped in and changed this for us as I was clearly upset. For that I couldn’t thank her enough. Honestly all I can say is thank you, everything was perfect and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. If you’re thinking of booking the Pinewood, believe me when I say you won’t regret it. xxxxxxxxx

We chose the colony for our wedding because a contemporary venue free from the usual classical interior design was important to us. We wanted a modern backdrop to our wedding. The colony provided us with the perfect backdrop. Their list of suppliers made the venue unrecognisable by the time it was dressed and illuminated. The building its setting and the convenience of the location made it ideal. Our local and international guests were able to reach the venue easily. We chose from the modern canapes rather than the traditional sit down meal. The food and drink flowed and we felt thoroughly spoiled. The staff couldn't have done more to make us feel special and our guests welcome.
