weddings are stressful... but the team at The Ship were incredible. Attentive and was ahead of the game the whole time. They were prepared and ready for food and drink. We didn't expect the weather to be nice so didn't discuss an outdoor area, but when we arrived we had a big area for family and friends to chat and enjoy a drink outside in the marque. A great touch.

Our day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t fault it. All staff were brilliant and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was incredible and at our tasting beforehand, we were able to make sure everything on the menu was exactly as we wanted it - no request was too big. The whole process of planning our day was as stress free as planning a wedding can be! We would 100% recommend this venue and wish we could live the day all over again.

We married at the Wellington Arms in Stratfield Turgis on May 11, 2024. We had our ceremony outside in the rose garden, which looked stunning on the day. Our day was perfect and all our guests had a great time. Jemma and her team did a fantastic job organising everything in the lead up and on the day. The food was delicious and the service was great. Everything was taken care of and was perfect. A big thank you to the team at the Wellington Arms for making our day so special!

We held a family party at Morgan’s yard in August and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The size of the fields is just right and the location is great. There was parking onsite for all of our guests with the option to camp too, as well as being a short drive from hotels. Laura made booking very simple and organised the marquee, posh loo’s and bouncy castle for us.

Had my wedding here in March and I can not thank the staff enough for everything. The whole day was amazing. We had plenty of meetings leading up to the wedding and they kept checking in with us on the day as well. We had the whole hotel to ourselves which was great as it was just who we wanted to be there. Amazing view over the Solent to the island nice garden as well. Food was amazing as well and the rooms we stayed in the night of was amazing as well.

The Queens Hotel was perfect for our wedding reception, we used the Elizabeth room and it was decorated perfectly. Lisa our coordinator was amazing from the start and kept everything running smoothly throughout our day, we cant thank her enough.

We had the most special day at Pinglestone Barn. LKC were fantastic and made the occasion so relaxed and memorable.

We absolutely loved having our wedding reception here at the distillery. The team were a joy to organize this with and the staff on the night we exceptional. This is a truly beautiful location, anytime of the day or year and as a result we only needed a few small touched to make it our own for the evening. A wonderful venue!

We had the best wedding day at Gambledown Farm! Tamara, Rachel and the whole team made the experience, from our first visit to our wedding day, such a relaxing, enjoyable experience! They gave us the flexibility to shape our wedding how we wanted but also provided guidance throughout the process. They were helpful, professional, organised, approachable and great to deal with. In the lead up and on the day they were always on hand if we had any queries or questions. On top of this the accommodation we booked for the wedding was beautiful. All our guests commented on how amazing the venue was. I would highly recommend Gambledown farm to everyone!
