Audleys Wood Hotel: A Hampshire country house wedding
Set within seven acres of woodland, private grounds and sweeping lawns near Basingstoke, Audleys Wood is a Victorian country house with a distinctive Neo-Gothic Renaissance character.
Original fireplaces, carved oak panelling and the light-filled Garden Pavilion give couples a choice between period rooms and a contemporary celebration space. The hotel can host weddings of up to 200 guests, with 68 bedrooms for those staying over.

Reached by its own illuminated walkway, the Garden Pavilion is a private celebration space with glass walls, a fairy-light canopy, private bar, patio and garden. Every part of your day can take place here, with dry-hire options also available.
The Conservatory
Capacity: 120 for a ceremony or 50 for a wedding breakfast
Best suits: Light-filled ceremonies and intimate dining
The feel: Elegant, romantic and bright
A magnificent vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows fill the Conservatory with natural light while showcasing views across the grounds.
The Garden Gazebo
Capacity: Up to 200 guests
Best suits: Outdoor civil ceremonies
The feel: Natural, tranquil and romantic
Set on a sweeping lawn, the Garden Gazebo offers an idyllic place to exchange vows before continuing into the grounds for drinks, photographs and lawn games.
The Simonds Room
Capacity: 30 for a ceremony or 20 for a wedding breakfast
Best suits: Intimate ceremonies and private dining
The feel: Historic, warm and atmospheric
Carved oak panelling and an original fireplace give the Simonds Room its distinctive character.

Food and drink
Our talented kitchen team creates seasonal menus showcasing the best available regional produce. With two AA Rosettes, dining is an important part of the Audleys Wood experience.
Choose from beautifully presented wedding breakfasts, evening buffets, sharing dishes and interactive food stations. Bespoke cocktails and themed bars can add another personal touch, while a complimentary menu tasting with wine allows you to perfect your choices before the day.

Arrive the night before, enjoy afternoon tea or welcome guests with a private dinner. The Simonds Room hosts intimate gatherings of up to 20, while the Sir George Bradshaw Room accommodates celebrations of up to 40.
The Jane Austen and Lavinia Fenton suites offer elegant, light-filled spaces in which to get ready with your wedding party and capture those special morning photographs.

Best Wedding i could've asked for ......
The staff are AMAZING!!!!! Garry, Martin, Michael, Darren, Jack, to name a few……
We had an unusual but unapologetically “us” wedding, so we had a few special requests (and surprises), and the hotel and staff MORE than accommodated us. NOTHING was too much trouble!!!! We cannot emphasize this enough!!!!
They looked after my husband and I, along with all the trials and tribulations that come with an elderly and quirky family, without a blink of an eye.
The food was amazing on ALL OCCASIONS, from menu tasting to pre-wedding dinner, through to the wedding day itself. People have constantly commented to us about how lovely all the food was! There is nothing worse than attending a wedding and not being catered for and still feeling hungry!!!! Well, it was definitely not the case at Audley’s Wood!!!!
The rooms were so comfortable and had everything we needed. We shall be visiting again!!!

Wonderful staff & beautiful venue
The Perfect Wedding Venue From Start to Finish ⭐
The staff were exceptional from start to finish. Every member of the team was friendly, professional and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment.
One of the biggest highlights for us was the dry hire option. It gave us the freedom to serve our own Caribbean food, which made our wedding feel even more personal and meaningful. Being able to share our culture through the food created such a memorable experience for us and our guests, and it’s something we’re so grateful Audleys Wood could accommodate.
The combination of a beautiful venue, outstanding service and the flexibility to make the day truly our own made our wedding everything we had dreamed of. We can’t recommend Audleys Wood Hotel highly enough to any couple looking for a venue that is both stunning and accommodating. Beautiful venue!
The entire team were accommodating, friendly and had smiles on their faces the whole day. They created a welcoming and warm atmosphere that all our guests commented on. The food was delicious and many guests commented on the quality of the food being some of the best they had, had at any wedding.
Roxanne, our coordinator, was simply amazing. She never stopped smiling and always checked in to ensure all of those small details were in place. She really helped up to pull everything together and made us feel like we could sit back and enjoy all our hard work on the day.
Our toastmaster, Nick, was the cherry on top and helped us to ensure our day ran smoothly and that guests felt looked after. He was professional and warm which further added to the experience of the day.
The bridal suite was exquisite and i felt like a princess getting to stay there the night before the wedding. All our bags were handled so we had nothing to worry about on the day and the honeymoon suite was the comfy space we needed after a long day.
If you are looking for a picturesque, warm and intimate space for your wedding you should go and view Audley's Wood. The venue was the perfect balance for us in wanting space but not feeling like our smaller wedding was being dwarfed by the venue. The team know exactly what they are doing and give you confidence that your day will go just as you imagine it.
A dream wedding come true
The venue itself is gorgeous. The perfect balance of old time aesthetics but with modern conveniences. Honestly, having a wedding at a place where people can take 2 minutes to pop back to their rooms was such a blessing.
Oh and the food, my word the food. Nothing short of amazing. Even when produced on a mass scale for a wedding of 80+ people every dish was heaven.
With reasonable pricing too you'd honestly be hard pushed to find a better venue for your special day.
Could Not Choose Better
We had the most fantastic wedding at Audleys wood this March.
Im the buildup, Audleys wood were really communicative - and were always available for my various requests and questions. Although we had a few wedding coordinators (due to maternity leaves and others leaving in our 2year long organising journey), they managed to do well to pass information on. We had a fantastic food tasting (the restaurant in wonderful!) and were able to visit the venue as often as we needed to scope out design ideas.
We booked the getting ready room and the room next door (attached by a interconnecting door) and had so much space for the 9-person bridal party to get ready in! It was a wonderful space.
During the wedding, they bent almost in half backwards for us. The staff were so attentive, so thoughtful and happy, and so professional. The day ran so smoothly with not one single hiccup, which is testament to those organising and running the venue.
Thank you so much Audleys Wood, we had the day of our dreams ❤️
