Audleys Wood Hotel is a magnificent wedding venue nestled in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. Once a beloved country mansion, renowned for its exceptional warmth and hospitality, today welcomes you to experience its timeless luxury. Originally constructed in the 1880's as the private residence of auctioneer Thomas Pain, this luxury hotel has a rich history, hosting famous guests.

At Audleys Wood Hotel, you and your significant other may host your wedding in the main house. This charming home includes our stunning Conservatory, the perfect setting to say "I do" under the towering vaulted ceiling amplified by beautiful natural daylight, and plenty of seating for up to 120 family and friends. Our Garden Gazebo is a grand outdoor setting, surrounded by pure nature and views of the rolling Hampshire countryside. For intimate ceremonies, our unique Simonds room is the warm heart of the historic house, perfect for up to 30 guests to celebrate with you. On this property, you will also find the Garden Pavilion to dance the night away under a canopy of fairy lights, with a private bar and outdoor patio. With a number of venues to explore, you and your partner can have the event you have been dreaming of.

Beautiful venue!
Audley's wood was the perfect venue for us! Having all aspects of the wedding in one place and rooms available for our guests meant it was the complete package.
The entire team were accommodating, friendly and had smiles on their faces the whole day. They created a welcoming and warm atmosphere that all our guests commented on. The food was delicious and many guests commented on the quality of the food being some of the best they had, had at any wedding.
Roxanne, our coordinator, was simply amazing. She never stopped smiling and always checked in to ensure all of those small details were in place. She really helped up to pull everything together and made us feel like we could sit back and enjoy all our hard work on the day.
Our toastmaster, Nick, was the cherry on top and helped us to ensure our day ran smoothly and that guests felt looked after. He was professional and warm which further added to the experience of the day.
The bridal suite was exquisite and i felt like a princess getting to stay there the night before the wedding. All our bags were handled so we had nothing to worry about on the day and the honeymoon suite was the comfy space we needed after a long day.
If you are looking for a picturesque, warm and intimate space for your wedding you should go and view Audley's Wood. The venue was the perfect balance for us in wanting space but not feeling like our smaller wedding was being dwarfed by the venue. The team know exactly what they are doing and give you confidence that your day will go just as you imagine it.

A dream wedding come true
We recently had our wedding at Audley's Wood hotel and it was nothing short of a dream come true. From the first instance the staff were friendly and attentive, always doing their passionate best to fulfil and request.
The venue itself is gorgeous. The perfect balance of old time aesthetics but with modern conveniences. Honestly, having a wedding at a place where people can take 2 minutes to pop back to their rooms was such a blessing.
Oh and the food, my word the food. Nothing short of amazing. Even when produced on a mass scale for a wedding of 80+ people every dish was heaven.
With reasonable pricing too you'd honestly be hard pushed to find a better venue for your special day.

Best Wedding i could've asked for ......
Well, what can we say…… We got married at Audley’s Wood hotel on the 8th August, and we genuinely could not have asked for better!!!
The staff are AMAZING!!!!! Garry, Martin, Michael, Darren, Jack, to name a few……
We had an unusual but unapologetically “us” wedding, so we had a few special requests (and surprises), and the hotel and staff MORE than accommodated us. NOTHING was too much trouble!!!! We cannot emphasize this enough!!!!
They looked after my husband and I, along with all the trials and tribulations that come with an elderly and quirky family, without a blink of an eye.
The food was amazing on ALL OCCASIONS, from menu tasting to pre-wedding dinner, through to the wedding day itself. People have constantly commented to us about how lovely all the food was! There is nothing worse than attending a wedding and not being catered for and still feeling hungry!!!! Well, it was definitely not the case at Audley’s Wood!!!!
The rooms were so comfortable and had everything we needed. We shall be visiting again!!!

Could Not Choose Better
Audleys Wood - My oh my.
We had the most fantastic wedding at Audleys wood this March.
Im the buildup, Audleys wood were really communicative - and were always available for my various requests and questions. Although we had a few wedding coordinators (due to maternity leaves and others leaving in our 2year long organising journey), they managed to do well to pass information on. We had a fantastic food tasting (the restaurant in wonderful!) and were able to visit the venue as often as we needed to scope out design ideas.
We booked the getting ready room and the room next door (attached by a interconnecting door) and had so much space for the 9-person bridal party to get ready in! It was a wonderful space.
During the wedding, they bent almost in half backwards for us. The staff were so attentive, so thoughtful and happy, and so professional. The day ran so smoothly with not one single hiccup, which is testament to those organising and running the venue.
Thank you so much Audleys Wood, we had the day of our dreams ❤️

Stunning venue and staff who go the extra mile
We would like to say a massive thank you to Zoe and the team for making our wedding smoothly with absolutely no stress throughout the day. Every member of staff were outstanding and our guests were raving about how lovely the venue, food and good times were. If you are thinking about Audleys for a wedding - don’t think - book.

Dream Wedding
Audley's gave us the wedding day of our dreams. Neal made the planning so easy and Christina was amazing in the lead up and on the day. The best food any of us have ever had and outstanding service.

Wedding Day at Audley Wood
We had our special day at Audley and it was worth every penny. Charlotte helped us from start to finish organising everything. I was so greatful to her for making the day flow so effortlessly. Every person we encountered genuinely cared about our day. The venue is so beautiful. I had so many comments from guests. I would without a doubt recommend any brides to be to book here.

an unforgettable wedding day
From the first time we walked in, the staff were all amazing. They helped us with EVERYTHING, We never felt like we were just another couple on their schedule, they really made us feel like our wedding was super special and always made us feel like nothing was ever too much.

We honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests had a an incredible time and the food was to die for, we didn't have to stress about a single thing, and the memories we made will last a lifetime.

Couldn’t have asked for more from this amazing venue
We had our wedding at Audleys Wood last week and we could not be more grateful we chose this venue. Audleys Wood was the first venues we looked at and loved it right away but felt we should see some others but everything we looked at, we compared to Audleys Wood.
From day one, Charlotte was amazing: she was so helpful and informative - none of my little questions were too much. I never felt any weddings before ours took priority over ours and they were so flexible with some of our requests such as having our dog there and having beer pong in the evening.
On the day, the staff had planned for all weather contingencies and the day went seamlessly - at least from our point of view as the bride and groom, if it wasn’t, we certainly didn’t know!
The food is honestly amazing - the trial was lush and we got so many compliments on the day, especially from vegan guests who loved having separate canapés. There were so many great options for all categories of the wedding breakfast and the evening food.
The accommodation itself was ideal as well. The Jane Austen suite for me the night before was great and surprisingly slept well even with all the nerves and adrenaline. It was a lovely space to get ready in the morning - one thing I would say is a railing for the dresses would have been helpful but the doorframes worked, I was just worried I would damage the beautiful room! The honeymoon suite was also stunning and we had room service the following morning which was a nice option.
I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Our wedding at Audleys Wood
We booked our wedding for March 2024 back in October 2022 at Audleys Wood. We just had that feeling as soon as we had driven up the driveway! Considering it’s in Basingstoke you wouldn’t think it at all in the grounds/ hotel. All the people at Audleys were great considering how many questions I asked in the process! Charlotte was great as was our toastmaster on the day David. We had lots of changes which were accommodated well and the day went about as smoothly as it could have considering the horrendous weather! The bridal suit and honeymoon suit included in our package made everything easier and considering I ran out of time on the day to pack things up everything was moved between rooms. The reception room looked great and the food was lovely. Thank you to everyone at Audleys for making our special day! Jess and Ollie
