Audleys Wood Hotel is a magnificent wedding venue nestled in Basingstoke, Hampshire, in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. Once a beloved country mansion, renowned for its exceptional warmth and hospitality, today welcomes you to experience its timeless luxury. Originally constructed in the 1880's as the private residence of auctioneer Thomas Pain, this luxury hotel has a rich history, hosting famous guests.
Facilities and Capacity
At Audleys Wood Hotel, you and your significant other may host your wedding in the main house. This charming home includes our stunning Conservatory, the perfect setting to say "I do" under the towering vaulted ceiling amplified by beautiful natural daylight, and plenty of seating for up to 120 family and friends. Our Garden Gazebo is a grand outdoor setting, surrounded by pure nature and views of the rolling Hampshire countryside. For intimate ceremonies, our unique Simonds room is the warm heart of the historic house, perfect for up to 30 guests to celebrate with you. On this property, you will also find the Garden Pavilion to dance the night away under a canopy of fairy lights, with a private bar and outdoor patio. With a number of venues to explore, you and your partner can have the event you have been dreaming of.

they made the lead up to and the wedding day so incredibly easy!
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. Our guests had a an incredible time and the food was to die for, we didn't have to stress about a single thing, and the memories we made will last a lifetime.
Audleys Wood, Neal Barrett and the whole team are honestly amazing and i could not recommend this venue enough!
Couldn’t have asked for more from this amazing venue
From day one, Charlotte was amazing: she was so helpful and informative - none of my little questions were too much. I never felt any weddings before ours took priority over ours and they were so flexible with some of our requests such as having our dog there and having beer pong in the evening.
On the day, the staff had planned for all weather contingencies and the day went seamlessly - at least from our point of view as the bride and groom, if it wasn’t, we certainly didn’t know!
The food is honestly amazing - the trial was lush and we got so many compliments on the day, especially from vegan guests who loved having separate canapés. There were so many great options for all categories of the wedding breakfast and the evening food.
The accommodation itself was ideal as well. The Jane Austen suite for me the night before was great and surprisingly slept well even with all the nerves and adrenaline. It was a lovely space to get ready in the morning - one thing I would say is a railing for the dresses would have been helpful but the doorframes worked, I was just worried I would damage the beautiful room! The honeymoon suite was also stunning and we had room service the following morning which was a nice option.
I cannot recommend this venue enough!

Absolutely perfect, in every way
The whole planning process was made so much easier having Charlotte and her team guide us through each step and answering any question no matter how big or small! All of our requests were catered for and there is literally nothing more we could have wished for on the day, all of our dreams came true!
We were able to add our own decor to the ceremony room and pavilion such as using our own flower arch, providing packets of tissues for the guests, making our own centrepieces and having a welcome table with a guest book, photos etc etc. Being able to include decor in keeping with our theming made the day even more special.
All of the guests have commented on how welcoming, friendly and accommodating all the staff were, nothing felt like too much bother and everyone was always on hand to make sure everything went to plan. There were so many little things on the day that Charlotte and the team did to make us feel special on our wedding day.
The food was outstanding and we've had multiple comments from guests to say how much they enjoyed their meal. We were made to feel so welcome when we came for our menu tasting and Head Chef Leon gave us so much time to talk through our preferences with regards to food and made me so happy that I could have chocolate brownie as a pudding option despite it being on the summer menu!!
The day ran perfectly to time and that was all thanks to the Toast Master. I really don't envy him trying to keep everyone to time and he did it with such kindness and patience! He took away all of the worries I had on the day and I really was just able to truly switch off from the planning and stress and enjoy the day.
Audleys Wood gave us the perfect wedding without us having to break the bank, we loved every minute and I am so sad it's now all over!
Such a magical venue and amazing experience
Both of the suites we had during our stay were amazing and really made the weekend even more magical and memorable.
I originally fell in love with the conservatory room and it was even better than I could have imagined on our wedding day. This venue is truly special and the staff made the day so wonderful, I couldn't recommend it more!
