Tithe Barn – Skipton, North Yorkshire

Built in the 16th Century, Tithe Barn is a romantic and quintessentially English wedding venue set within the grounds of the majestic Bolton Abbey.

We can’t quite imagine anything more impressive than hosting your big day in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, and views of this stunning rural area are what Tithe Barn has in abundance.

It is owned by Cripps & Co, so you can be assured that is has been restored perfectly. From the flagstone floors to the medieval chandeliers and the fairy lights woven through the beams of the elevated ceiling, there are so many beautiful features which really give this place the wow-factor.

Woolas Barn – South Cave, East Riding of Yorkshire

Originally built in 1863 and renovated in 2018, Woolas Barn is a charming and unique rural wedding venue based on a family-run 400 acre farm. It is just 20 minutes’ drive from the historic city of York and 30 minutes from Leeds city centre. How handy!

The interiors marry rustic character with modern and contemporary details perfectly, and allow for a seamless blending between three joined spaces. There is the Courtyard, the Granary and The Lambing Shed, which will each host a separate part of your day.

The Lambing Shed is perfect for your wedding breakfast thanks to its striking vaulted ceiling and glass doors. There is a natural warmth and energy about the space, plus a capacity of up to 130 people.

After you’ve eaten, take to the Granary. This is the oldest part of Woolas Barns, with dance floors and a rustic bar. There are also two cosy snugs providing the perfect place to chat with friends over a cocktail when your feet get tired, plus access to the outside area where you might enjoy toasting marshmallows over the fire.
