We celebrated our wedding here on 14th February. We had the most amazing experience at this beautiful location. The staff were incredible from beginning to end. They were all, without exception, so easy to work with, hard working, reliable and friendly. They went out of their way to make everything perfect! We will definitely visit this wonderful spot again.

Our Wedding Day at The Timble Inn – Absolutely Spot On We had our wedding at The Timble Inn and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. From the moment we arrived, everything just ran smoothly — well organised, no stress, no fuss — just exactly what you want on a day like that. The chapel is a lovely, simple space just down the lane, and it felt really personal and relaxed, which suited us perfectly. After the ceremony, the team at the Inn had everything set up and ready to go — we didn’t have to think about a thing. The food was outstanding. À la carte and absolutely faultless — every guest commented on it. It genuinely wouldn’t have been out of place in a high-end restaurant, and it really added something special to the day. The staff were brilliant throughout — friendly, helpful, and always there when needed without being over the top. Special thanks to Enzo, the manager — calm, organised, and just a really decent bloke who clearly knows how to run a great event. We brought our own flowers and a few personal touches, but the venue itself didn’t need much dressing up — it’s already a beautiful place, with loads of character. We wouldn’t change a single thing. If you’re after a small, relaxed, high-quality wedding in a beautiful Yorkshire setting, we can genuinely recommend The Timble Inn without hesitation

We had our wedding at The Grand Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! The staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly, the venue was stunning, and the food was incredible. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything looked. It was truly the best day of our lives — thank you, Grand Hotel, for making our wedding unforgettable! 💕

The staff at Crathorne Hall are absolutely wonderful. We have heard that from almost every single wedding guest who came for or stayed at the wedding. This has also been our experience the whole way through the wedding planning process. From the first wedding event we attended (where I got lost and Elle kindly noticed and pointed me in the right direction) to a couple of days after the wedding when we called by to pick up some bits we had forgotten at the hotel. They made every moment leading up to our big day special. The menu tasting was wonderful and really gave you a sense of how the wedding breakfast would go. Aurora, our wedding coordinator, was so detail-oriented that the day ran so incredibly smoothly that most of the guests commented on it! Alan, the MC on the day, was absolutely wonderful. He somehow managed to corral all of the guests efficiently and professionally, but also in a way that they didn't feel hurried. As I say, everyone at the hotel involved in every step is wonderful. Hannah, Emma and Olivia on reception are so welcoming. Gloria is so cheerful and thoughtful, and had some special canapes kept by especially for us, so we didn't miss out. She also made sure those with dietary requirements or who didn't want prosecco had things they wanted to eat and drink with the canapes which was really thoughtful. That does really sum up how you are treated at Crathorne. They are incredibly thoughtful and pay attention to the smallest details. For breakfast they had put out some of the large wedding tables in the breakfast room so we could mix on tables for breakfast the day before and after the wedding meaning nobody felt left out and it was really precious time to catch up with people we didn't get to speak to as much as we would have liked to on the day. Bewoh was on the breakfasts and was absolutely wonderful with all of the guests and dealing with all the many dietary requirements! Early on the morning of the wedding, the tables had been set out slightly incorrectly. I went to find Aurora in the next room, and she had already noticed it and was on it. When I was coming downstairs in my dress, not knowing there were still guests in the hotel, Byron quickly ushered me into the dining room and kept an eye out until they were gone. Martin, knowing we probably hadn't had a drink since breakfast, brought my dad and me a glass of water before the church without being asked, which is exactly what we needed! When we got back, Alan and other staff ushered people around to the garden for photographs and the confetti shot and had everything organised perfectly, it all ran exactly to time! Having been to many weddings, and knowing how hard it is to keep everything on time, I was not expecting this in the least. Whilst we were in the church, the hotel had set out the lawn games we brought, photo tables, confetti, and so many other things without the least bit of direction from us, and it was all perfect. The food was incredible! I've never been to a wedding where the wedding breakfast is exactly the same quality as the restaurant food. Everyone's dietary requirements were taken into account perfectly, and everyone with dietary requirements was really impressed that the correct food was placed in front of them without the need to check who it was for. Gilmar is brilliant and made sure everyone had wine with a smile and was incredibly efficient. Everything flowed seamlessly from the food, to the speeches, to the cake cutting, first dance and more. We were really impressed that they set out the cake on the dancefloor and had everyone gather for that, as often this is missed at many weddings. I can not stress how much stress the Crathorne Team took away from us. It really was the most perfect day.

From start to finish Malmaison have been absolutely amazing,from the 1st meeting with Jade everything was no trouble whatsoever,we where always informed about every single detail,Jade's professionalism throughout was a highlight for us... The wedding breakfast and the evening do was amazing,the food was outstanding and the service led by the fantastic Laura and her team deserve so much credit for the whole event running smoothly,if anybody is thinking about Malmaison as a venue I would 100% say GO FOR IT!

We cannot thank the team at Hackness Grange enough they were so kind and helpful and made the planning process so easy for me and my husband. We first discovered this venue on social media it was in a different location then we planned but we thought why not have a look. When we pulled up to the venue we were blown away and after being shown around and hearing all the generous stuff in the package we knew this place was the the place we would become husband and wife, also the island where there ceremony is taking place wow of course this was one. Fast forward to our wedding day, wow it went perfectly and so smooth the team at Hackness grange were amazing keeping us informed of the big events throughout the day and making sure we knew when and where they would take place. Even our guests were blown away by the venue and described the place as very classy and to find some where that is not only affordable but classy is a bonus and like I stated previously they offer so much in their wedding packages. We cannot recommend this venue enough and will miss it dearly. Thank you Hackness grange for giving us the happiest and best day of our lives and we are forever grateful.

The Falcon Manor is the perfect venue for those who have a smaller wedding party but still want the grandness of a country house. It is the perfect venue for both summer and winter weddings - it sits in gorgeous grounds but has a cosy interior so whatever the weather you are guaranteed amazing photos and the best atmosphere! I cannot praise Katie and her team enough for helping us pull off the most amazing day! Katie was always on hand to answer any questions, and her team couldn't do enough to make sure we were all well looked after on the day. Having not lived in the area long I didn't know where to start with looking for venders, however Katie had a list of her favourites that I used to build our dream day. When I was going through her list I realised why these vendors made it on there - every single one I contacted and booked were incredible, they really made the day what it was and without realising booking vendors from her list made for a smooth flowing day as they had all worked together before! Top tip - book a photographer who has worked at the venue before as they know all the good shots! We booked a March wedding so we were expecting to be indoors with the fires on, but when the time came the sun was shining! So a quick email the day before turned into the drinks reception being served outside. Nothing is too much trouble for this team, you can definitely tell that their aim is to help you pull off your dream wedding. I will never stop recommending this venue!!

Both myself and my Husband agree that Aldwark Manor was the right choice for our wedding ceremony and venue. We went for the All Exclusive package which was worth every penny. As part of the package we opted for fireworks which were sensational and made our day so special. The staff at Aldwark are all so friendly and professional, and you are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Our Wedding co-ordinator Kim was amazing too, keeping in regular contact and making sure everything was sorted so that on the day the wedding went smoothly and stress free. The day we got married was one of the hottest days of the year and there was a really bad downpour in the morning but this didn't spoil the day. The food was exceptional and there was some lovely options to choose from for the wedding meal. The hog roast in the evening also went down very well! In addition we hired our own magician (the Yorkshire magician) and also the magic selfie mirror hosted by mimi events which oyr guests loved! We had a fantastic wedding and so did our guests and we would wholeheartedly recommend Aldwark Manor not just as a wedding venue but also as a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

Thank you Gareth! The personal touch you offered throughout the entire process seamed to us ‘above and beyond’ in every way possible and we really can’t thank you enough! We will be back to visit and say hello in the near future. We would also like to express our thanks to the rest of the hotel staff who were outstandingly pleasant and completely supportive as they always have been every time we have visited; the trip advisor review I have written also reflects this.
