A special thank you to our wonderful wedding coordinators, Samantha and Louise, for making our day absolutely perfect. We are also incredibly grateful to Elaine for her constant support and attention to every detail throughout the day. We truly couldn't have done it without you.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the hotel and it was an absolute dream true! The staff were amazing especially Steve who was there to look after us on the day and Emily the wedding coordinator in the build up to the big day. Our guests are still raving about the delicious food and the magical Oak Room. Thanks so much for making our day perfect!

We were looking for a venue that had it all in one decent priced package and the Marriott was the perfect answer. The outdoor ceremony adds such a magic touch to the day, and the surrounding gardens are absolutely perfect for pictures. The indoor reception room is so bright and airy, perfect for eating and dancing the night away. Jeanette and the team were perfect throughout the whole day, and the wedding wouldn’t have been possible without Amber and Imogen as well. It was truly perfect day and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue!

Claire, Scott and the entire team couldn't do enough for us on our big day. We had originally booked to get married in September 2026, but my partner was diagnosed with a terminal illness in July 2026. We decided to try and bring the wedding forward, and between us we pulled it together in just over 2 weeks. We truly had a day to remember and we were so grateful that the team could facilitate the changes so smoothly. Food & wine were delicious, the room was decorated beautifully and the staff who served the wedding breakfast were so attentive & genuinely lovely. We stayed in a fabulous suite, and that really was the cherry on top of a really delicious cake! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Hotel, and let Claire and her exceptional team look after you ❤️

We had our wedding at The Grand Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! The staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly, the venue was stunning, and the food was incredible. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything looked. It was truly the best day of our lives — thank you, Grand Hotel, for making our wedding unforgettable! 💕

We are very happy we chose Malmaison as a wedding venue. Everything from arranging our first meeting with the lovely Abbie & Claire, to our actual wedding day was absolutely perfect. I had a lot of questions for Abbie along the way, and she was always very prompt and helpful. I would definitely recommend Malmaison as a wedding venue, as the whole team on the day helped our wedding day run very smooth and so memorable.

Both myself and my Husband agree that Aldwark Manor was the right choice for our wedding ceremony and venue. We went for the All Exclusive package which was worth every penny. As part of the package we opted for fireworks which were sensational and made our day so special. The staff at Aldwark are all so friendly and professional, and you are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Our Wedding co-ordinator Kim was amazing too, keeping in regular contact and making sure everything was sorted so that on the day the wedding went smoothly and stress free. The day we got married was one of the hottest days of the year and there was a really bad downpour in the morning but this didn't spoil the day. The food was exceptional and there was some lovely options to choose from for the wedding meal. The hog roast in the evening also went down very well! In addition we hired our own magician (the Yorkshire magician) and also the magic selfie mirror hosted by mimi events which oyr guests loved! We had a fantastic wedding and so did our guests and we would wholeheartedly recommend Aldwark Manor not just as a wedding venue but also as a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.

We got married at the Mercure York Fairfield Manor and honestly, we cannot recommend it enough. Our coordinator, Beth, was amazing from start to finish. She made me feel at ease straight away and really helped with all our planning. She ensured everything ran smoothly on the day and is an absolute asset to the hotel. All the staff have been fantastic, nothing is too much to ask. Everyone checked in with us as we passed, came to find us when they needed to check something, made sure we had everything we needed etc. I’d also like to thank Martin, the night porter, who really couldn’t have been more helpful at 5am on the morning of our wedding! The food (we had canapés, wedding breakfast, bar meals, breakfast and restaurant menu) was all amazing. All our guests commented how great the food was. We had the bridal suite which was lovely too. The hotel is really beautiful and the grounds make for amazing wedding photos. It’s immaculately clean. We can’t wait to visit again, but would highly recommend here for those seeking a hotel, or for a wedding! Particularly, the outdoor ceremony area and grounds, which were a huge part of why we chose here. Thank you everyone at the Mercure. You made our day just perfect!

Choosing Middletons Hotel York as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we booked until the end of our wedding weekend on **30th July 2026 - 2nd August 2026 **the team made every part of our experience feel so special. Our wedding was a small, intimate celebration with just the two of us and our two guests, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A special thank you to Marilene and Poppy, whose warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail meant we could completely relax and enjoy every moment. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and ideal for our wedding weekend. The food was exceptional, with every meal perfectly prepared and presented. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day/weekend unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a more dedicated team to celebrate such an important occasion. Thank you to everyone at Middletons Hotel York for making our wedding weekend so memorable. We would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodation, and fantastic food.
