I have loved Bolton Castle since I was a child and so it was something of a magical dream that we got to have our wedding here. But even better was Just. How. Amazing. the venue was on the day. The views, the rooms, the set-up, the support we got. The organisation of the wedding by the castle team was flawless from our first visit to the venue, to follow up visits, to emails in between and to the day itself. The team are so organised that you can trust them completely to handle everything - which is an amazing feeling to have on your wedding day. We knew we could trust them to have everything set up and ready for guest arrivals (they did!) and we knew they would sort everything if the weather changed last minute (luckily it didn't!). They set up the furniture so we could come in and decorate the day before, and sorted clear up so we could go home at the end of the night and collect our decorations the next day. The set the fires, they lit the candles, they laid out the marshmallows for roasting, and they co-ordinated the arrivals of the different vendors during the day. We also loved the freedom and flexibility we had to set the different rooms up the way we wanted to and they were so good about letting us bring in outside suppliers for things like archery and Scottish ceilidh dancing. But most of all, Bolton Castle is the most unbelievable backdrop for a wedding - our photos are spectacular, our guests had the freedom to roam and explore and there is so much to do and see that everyone could have spent days there celebrating! Huge thank you to the whole Bolton Castle team and most especially to Jacqui and Anne for all of your help and support. We had the best day ever.

We LOVED this place! Couldn't recommend it enough! From the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty, bags take out of your car and taken to your room, we opted for champagne and chocolates on arrival, the staff were pleasant and accomodating when we needed extra supplies like more teabags etc. The room was lovely and the bathroom was gorgeous. The attached spa was great and there are designated children hours which we appreciated when we wanted to go during adult only times. We rented e-bikes and took a ride to the Druids temple which was wonderful and although the estate is expensive to stay at, is well worth the visit for what you get! We also did the birds of prey experience which was fabulous. We can't wait to rebook to go to the Swinton

This venue was everything and more what we both dreamed of. From beginning to end, our coordinator was available to answer any questions and provided plenty of helpful suggestions to help the day run smoothly. Did not disappoint, we stayed overnight in the bridal suite and has our breakfast in the music room. What a venue, the character and decor can not be replicated, it's breathtaking!

Wow, where do I start? Me and my husband had viewed a few venues before, but the second we stepped into Sneaton Castle we both looked at each other and knew instantly this was where we wanted to get married. From the moment you drive through the gates the views take your breath away. The interior is equally stunning – so beautiful that you really don’t need to add extra decorations, the castle truly speaks for itself. We booked two years in advance and had several meetings with the wonderful staff who went through every detail with us. They made us feel so comfortable and confident, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The night before, we stayed in the gorgeous Dovecot Suite with my bridesmaids. The staff treated us so well, and even came to check on us on the morning of the wedding, helping to calm my nerves. We were able to peek at our wedding breakfast room the evening before and seeing all our touches brought to life made me emotional. I’d given the staff free rein to place our homemade decorations and signs, and they did the most perfect job – even better than I could have imagined. The whole day itself was flawless. The chapel is simply magical, the wedding breakfast room and bar are stunning, and the garden area is perfect. Every single guest commented that Sneaton Castle was the best venue they’d ever been to. What makes Sneaton Castle even more special is the lovely wedding staff. They went above and beyond, not only being professional and attentive, but genuinely warm, friendly, and supportive. By the end of the weekend, it felt like they were close friends who were celebrating alongside us. We will cherish our day at Sneaton Castle forever and already find ourselves coming back to visit whenever we can. I honestly have never met such wonderful wedding staff and cannot recommend this venue highly enough – it was perfect in every possible way
