We had our twilight wedding at The Lakehouse in Waterloo on 23rd May 2026 and it was the best day ever! We had lovely weather and literally you couldn't have a better setting for a wedding.

From day 1 of booking the venue, Natalie was amazing, kept in touch through our wedding planning and helped us as much as possible to accommodate everything we wanted. We even got to drop stuff off the day before making it a lot easier.

On the day itself, Natalie had made sure our room was ready early so I could get ready in the room with my bridesmaids for hair and makeup. Nothing was too much, very professional, the day ran smoothly and we even got to use the jetty and the roof for wedding photos. We even had wedding cake left over which I gave to the staff for their hard work rather than it going to waste.

We would like to thank everyone at the Lakehouse for making our day special especially Natalie, Kyra, Wendy and all of the hardworking bar and kitchen staff who were working that day, we seriously cannot thank you enough!

I work as a wedding photographer/videographer myself so The Lakehouse was my number one choice for wedding venue being local, has rooms and has such a beautiful setting. I have worked here many times and the service and professionalism is always excellent. It is seriously the best wedding venue ever!

We will definitely be recommending The Lakehouse and using it for any future events/functions.

We originally had another venue booked for our wedding reception but something just didn’t feel right, we thought we would have a look at the lake house as we live not far from there. From the moment we met with Natalie we knew it was the perfect venue for us! Her enthusiasm and engagement with us made us feel welcomed and that nothing would be too much trouble throughout the planning process. The communication with Natalie from start to finish was excellent and anything we needed she was there for us. The venue itself was gorgeous and the hotel rooms are an added bonus - we made use of these the night before and the night of. The day itself was perfect, made easier by all the staff at the Lake house being so helpful and attentive. It really is an amazing venue and would recommend anyone to have their wedding here! We can’t wait to keep visiting and reliving our special day.

Could not recommend The Lake House enough. The venue itself is beautiful and we loved having the three different spaces throughout the day as it made everything flow really smoothly. The setting and views got so many compliments from our guests and we loved that the venue felt modern, clean and simple whilst still allowing us to make the day feel like us.

Having rooms on site was also such a big plus for us, especially with guests travelling. The rooms were clean, spacious and there was a good mix of room types. It was also great having enough space for the bridal party to get ready together. The location was really easy to find and we got some of our favourite photos on the marina jetty.

The staff were genuinely amazing. Every single person we dealt with was professional, friendly and helpful and just made the whole day feel less stressful and more fun. Natalie especially was incredible from start to finish. We had multiple meetings with her and her attention to detail was amazing. She really helped us create the wedding we wanted and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day. Tara was also so lovely and helpful, especially with rooms and even helping me carry my wedding dress in.

The food was another massive highlight. So many guests told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. The canapés were huge, the evening pizzas were so good and everything was really well done. They were also great with dietary requirements and took them seriously which we really appreciated.

Honestly we would not change a thing. Natalie and everyone at The Lake House gave us such an amazing and memorable day and we are so grateful for everything they did.

We would always recommend The Lake House, the staff are unbelievable, kind, friendly, helpful and accommodating, nothing seemed too much trouble and we felt so relaxed knowing our guests and our wedding reception were in good hands. The food is delicious, the rooms are lovely and certainly value for money. The location and views are incredible and all of our guests that travelled from different parts of the UK and from overseas all loved it.

The Lake house is honestly the most perfect place to get married and we could not recommend it enough. We stayed in the hotel rooms the night before and after the wedding, they were lovely and clean, tidy and spacious. The morning of the wedding we had a lovely breakfast and were looked after by Kay, who was so welcoming and helpful! Tyra and Wendy looked after us throughout the whole day, checking in on us in the morning, helping us whilst leaving for the church and then once back they were on hand for everything us and the guests could possibly need. Natalie has helped plan and organise our wedding from the very start and nothing has ever been too much. We have felt so looked after throughout the whole process and everything was perfect and what we had dreamt of. The 3 of them were so positive, friendly, professional and fun. Can’t thank them and all of the staff enough for making our day perfect. The day ran so smoothly and i didn’t have to worry about anything. Food was amazing and we have had many comments from the guests about how nice it was especially the evening pizzas. The DJ (Andrew Taylor) that the lake house booked for us was amazing and played such a variety as well as lots of requests. THANK YOU so much to all of them and if you are thinking about having your wedding at the Lake house definitely do it, you will not regret it!

We had our wedding last Wednesday (11/03/2026) at the Lake House and we couldn’t recommend them enough! From the start of the planning process to the actual day they were amazing! The staff were so attentive to not just myself and my husband but our family, they regularly checked in with my grandparents to see if there was anything they needed and kept us updated every step of the way! You definitely get your money’s worth with them and it is a magical venue especially for a twilight wedding with the sunset on the lake! Thank you so much Natalie, Wendy and the team!

We cant thank Lakehouse enough for making our day as perfect as it was. Natalie was incredible through the planning process and on the day, she made sure we knew what was happening at all times and made suggestions we'd not even thought of to enhance the day! Tyra's support throughout was really appreciated too, keeping in touch before the day and being there day of and of course Wendy brought an amazing energy to the day and made sure everything ran perfectly. The guests cannot stop telling us how much they enjoyed the wedding and how much they appreciated all the staff as nothing was too much trouble and they helped make the atmosphere even better. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lakehouse to anyone booking a wedding. The views are incredible and the venue itself is beautiful with such a great energy. Food was beautiful too and canapes went down really well! Tyra, Wendy and Natalie kept me so calm on the day and nothing was too much trouble. We'll always appreciate their support in making out day perfect. The rooms are also spotless and so comfortable, the perfect place to get ready and for guests of your wedding to enjoy. From start to finish we could not fault the team at the Lake house. We had originally booked our wedding for another venue and decided this place was not for us as it all felt very formal and restricted with what we could do.

We attended a wedding event at the Lakehouse and knew that this was the venue for us. We then met with Natalie and Kay. Who really put us at ease and allowed us to create the day that we wanted being flexible and accommodating to our every need. With constant communication we never felt that we needed to chase anything and this took some of the stress of arranging the wedding off our shoulders.

The day itself we were very lucky to get some amazing winter weather that allowed some great photos as we have seen with plenty of weddings before. The day went so smooth and we felt that all the team did everything they could to make sure our day ran perfectly. Everyone went above and beyond for us down to the finest details! A special mention to Natalie and Wendy on the day who really made the day what it was!

Everything from the food, drinks, service and rooms was perfect, we can not thank all of the team enough and could not recommend the venue and team strongly enough everyone who are looking to book.

The Lakehouse was a fantastic place to get married in. Myself and my husband had a wonderful time. The staff are amazing were always there for us every step of the way. The staff reassured us that everything would be perfect. They were 100% correct our special day was perfect start to finish.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Natalie and Leonie were so great with organising everything and asking us questions we hadn't even thought about, this made the process so much easier! Wendy was our MC on the day and she was amazing, she got the party started!! The rain didn't stop on our day but that didn't stop us from having the best time and everyone working there made some changes on the day to ensure eveyrthing still went smoothly. We would definately reccomend this venue for their wedding , even just for a meal/stay over as we have had plenty of meals there on the lead up and was lovely everytime. It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

We had the best experience for our special day. Natalie and Leonie made the planning a breeze. The day itself went perfect, everyone commented on how tasty the food was. The weather was gorgeous so the outside seating was perfect. The staff felt like part of our day and couldn’t be any more helpful. We recently celebrated our wedding at the lake house and we truly cannot put into words how perfect the day was. From start to finish, the experience exceeded every expectation.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly.

If you’re as lucky as we were to get the weather, the is the dream location. You have the option of the roof top and outside areas which we took full advantage of.

The party atmosphere throughout the day, was exactly what we wanted.

The team managed everything so that we were able to fully enjoy every moment. They were so accommodating, they listened to everything we wanted and worked behind the scenes to ensure the day went exactly how we had planned. We were even able to include our golden retriever to make the day even more special.
