Stirk House and the whole team made all our dreams come true on our wedding day. From the day we booked our wedding with them, everything was so easy and they were such a pleasure to communicate and plan with. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so welcomed, looked after and safe in their hands! The actual wedding day was just unbelievable. From first thing in the morning, the team ensured that everything ran so smoothly and there was such a calm but exciting atmosphere around us. Dave is truly amazing at what he does and made sure everything was perfect and ran as it should do. We honestly couldn’t fault anything at all. We would highly highly recommend this venue. Just amazing!!

This was my dream venue and Samlesbury helped us bring our vision to life! The whole team were so lovely and friendly from our first viewing to the support on the day! We did our own decor and the team were attentive and set it up perfectly! Then they packed it all down for us to collect the morning after! The add ons like lawn games, crisp wall, sweetie cart were just the cherry on top! The food was really good quality and everyone loved it! We got to stay in the Gatehouse the night before and the night of, and it made such a big difference knowing that we had somewhere to get ready in the morning that was on site and didn't have to travel to and from the venue. As it was a listed building, there are some things that cannot be done, which would be something to keep in mind, but that didn't impact our day at all. If you want a venue with history, character, and an amazing team to bring your dream to life - this is the best!

The girls are amazing! They made our wedding day so so special! Joanne and Tanya are a credit to the team! Dont let any one else take away their spotlight! From selling the wedding to whole set up of it perfect in every way! Listen to us and gave us everything and more that we wanted for our unique wedding! Even with a light bright wedding venue, with help from them we created the addams family nightmare! Thank you!

The location was stunning, every detail was perfect, and your professionalism and organisation made everything run so smoothly. The barn is absolutely stunning. Couldn't imagine anything more perfect for our wedding. We had the best day and that was largely due to everyone who worked there. From the first time we looked round, right up until the morning after, they were so welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much for everything you did for us and making the day so special.

Highly recommend Astley Bank. From start to finish they were amazing. We had the best day celebrating our wedding at the hotel, staff couldn't do enough for us and the food was delicious. Also great value. Really inexpensive, homely, friendly, pretty venue.

Had a huge wedding here and we were so well looked after. The events planning team are new but very well organised and executed our wedding day so perfectly! We stayed in the bridal suite, and were very well looked after by all of the hotel's team during the weekend. Most of our guests also stayed here for the wedding weekend and everyone had a wonderful time. The facilities are clean, the breakfast is soooo good, the spa is lovey, overall a beautiful place to stay and an excellent place for a wedding! Highly recommend to all

We had our wedding at the Preston Marriott on the 13th of September and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was beautiful, and everything ran so smoothly on the day. Megan was amazing from start to finish – she was always quick to answer any questions we had and made sure everything was organised and ready for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to Megan and the team for helping make our day so special!

Where to start. The Shireburn Arms is such a wonderful venue. We visited a year ago and were so impressed by the views, the space and most importantly, Sarah, the event coordinator. She was beyond helpful from start to finish and could not do more to help us. It was so important having a person there who could guide you through planning this enormous event. All the staff, including Yasmin, Peter and Lewis, were incredible and a credit to the company. The venue itself is gorgeous - we were married in the larger room, but had access to the smaller room and bar as well as the games room downstairs. 70 guests were comfortable and entertained throughout. My little boy especially loved the chess set! The food was amazing, the canapés were delicious and well worth adding if you’ve got an early ceremony. We chose the classic package and could not fault any of the food. Guests commented on how luxe everything was. The rooms are beautiful too. I stayed in room 4 the night before, which has the most beautiful high ceilings and then the bridal suite, which honestly we didn’t make the most of as we rolled into bed at 1am and out at 7am! Honestly, I can’t say anything negative or even neutral about the venue or the staff. It was just amazing and I can’t wait to come back and visit soon.
