This was my dream venue and Samlesbury helped us bring our vision to life! The whole team were so lovely and friendly from our first viewing to the support on the day! We did our own decor and the team were attentive and set it up perfectly! Then they packed it all down for us to collect the morning after! The add ons like lawn games, crisp wall, sweetie cart were just the cherry on top! The food was really good quality and everyone loved it! We got to stay in the Gatehouse the night before and the night of, and it made such a big difference knowing that we had somewhere to get ready in the morning that was on site and didn't have to travel to and from the venue. As it was a listed building, there are some things that cannot be done, which would be something to keep in mind, but that didn't impact our day at all. If you want a venue with history, character, and an amazing team to bring your dream to life - this is the best!

We had our wedding at the Preston Marriott on the 13th of September and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was beautiful, and everything ran so smoothly on the day. Megan was amazing from start to finish – she was always quick to answer any questions we had and made sure everything was organised and ready for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you to Megan and the team for helping make our day so special!

The best venue by far! Amazing package deals which include basically everything!! Julie the wedding coordinator is great, couldn’t have done it all without her! Everyone loved the food, honestly every bit of food was mouth watering! Would recommend this venue to anyone!

Bartle Hall gave us our dream wedding day on 25th April 2025 and we can't recommend this stunning venue enough! The day, down to every last little detail, was absolutely perfect! Our guests are still telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to and raving about how amazing the food was - particularly the tempura bombay prawns, the maple glazed chipolatas and the carrot and coriander soup! It makes us feel so proud knowing that we chose a venue that our guests loved just as much as we do. We, of course, need to give a HUGE shout out to the wedding team for looking after us from our first viewing in October 2022 right up until our wedding in April 2025. From the moment we stepped foot into Bartle Hall in October 2022, we knew it was the venue for us. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming and we could tell that they would go above and beyond for us - we were right! Rachel gave us a tour of the venue and grounds and we were really taken with how friendly and approachable she was. She clearly knew the venue inside out and we came away from the viewing with Bartle firmly at the top of our list. Once we'd booked our wedding, we had more conversations with Rachel but also with Jenny and Rebecca. Every email exchange and meeting we had made us feel even more confident in our decision - the wedding team are so flexible and accommodating and all of our questions and requests were welcomed, no matter how minor. We had our final details appointment with Jenny around 8 weeks before our wedding and we knew our day would be in great hands - she was just amazing and knew exactly what we wanted before we had even said it! On the big day itself, we were looked after by Tayla, Jenny and Louise who were all fabulous. They all came over to the lodge during bridal prep to check that we were all ok and to ask if we needed anything, moved our belongings from the lodge into the bridal suite and also looked after the groom, best men and groomsmen when they arrived. Tayla went above and beyond and beyond again! She helped my mum fasten me into my dress, pinned on buttonholes, brought everyone a drink before the ceremony, carried my bouquet, handed out canapes after the ceremony, acted as our toastmaster for the day, kept wine glasses topped up during the wedding breakfast and got all our guests hyped up. Everywhere we looked, she was there doing something and making it look effortless! Our guests have all said how much of an asset she is to the venue and we wholeheartedly agree! We feel so lucky to have experienced the amazing care, attention and hospitality from the incredible Bartle team and there aren't enough words to describe just how highly we recommend them and the venue. Thank you for everything - Bartle Hall will always have a special place in our hearts and we hope we can come back one day to experience it again. Love, Mr & Mrs Bolton x

Where do I start? Firstly with getting engaged, so on the 07.12.2024 my now HUSBAND, asked me to marry him in Stockholm, it had been a long time coming after 7 years together, however, I definitely wasn’t expecting it to be there and definitely not after a Hyrox race, however, it couldn’t have been more us! Fast forward to January, after Christmas, I started to look at Venues on TikTok, I came across Wyresdale Park, I just knew from watching one video it was going to be the one. It was everything I wanted and more in a venue, but what sold it to me was the 3 separate but flowing areas. I hated the idea of getting married and then being sardined into a bar area so that the room can be rearranged for the wedding breakfast and then for the evening reception (I know you can have the option of outside but with the UK, let’s be honestly it’s highly likely to be raining) BUT at Wyresdale, you don’t have to worry about this, you have the luxury of the ceremony barn, the white barn for the wedding breakfast and then flowing into the atrium for the evening - this was everything I was looking for, I showed my other half, who said ‘oh don’t just put your eggs in one basket, we need to go and look around and get quotes etc’ I knew I had to act quick as I saw a tour upcoming! We managed to get a space on the January tour, we’d only viewed two other venues, and after seeing each one, I knew I’d already decided that Wyresdale was already the one, I was so sure, I even invited my mum and dad to see it with us. When we arrived, we were greeting by Leah, (who just so happened to be our wedding co ordinator, who helped us with every single little detail leading up to our big day) who showed us around the beautiful grounds, it was a beautiful crisp, sunny winters day… I fell in love, with everything and we loved the idea of stealing a secret moment in the boat together on the lake after we’d said ‘I do!’ We sat down to enquire about a date in 2026, but an available Friday date caught our eye 07.11.2025. It was meant to be! 7 is my husbands lucky number, 11 is mine. We reserved the date, and after checking if we could have the registrar, we confirmed the day after. What the hell! We’d booked a wedding, in TEN MONTHS! Luckily, included in our package, we had striped kitchen booked and Gemma from bluebells and daisies (who is the very best may I add)! 10 months of planning flew by and our day came around so fast… we had really good communication with the team, and Wyresdale even had a renovation early in the year, which made the venue even more perfect with the newly renovated atrium, bar area and outdoor seating space under the canopy! I spent the night before in the North wing with my bridesmaids, nothing comes close to spending the night before your wedding with your best and closest girls, and even my pup, who played the part of our ring bearer she was very well looked after by Annabel at Pawfect occasions! Who I cannot recommend enough, she took every single worry about Orla(our gorgeous chocolate cocker spaniel) away from me for the whole day as I knew she was being well looked after). We all had hair and make up done by the amazing Loft, Jen was just perfect, she kept me so so calm. The team literally couldn’t have done enough for us, all day, I literally didn’t have to think or worry about a single thing and lived my absolute best Bride life, I enjoyed every single second of our day. We got married at 1pm, a perfect time, in the white barn, onto the drinks reception, my Mum had booked the Singing waiters for our Wedding breakfast, we had the best time ever singing and dancing on the tables, I had done personalised tambourines as place names, these were a huge hit. Then onto the evening in the atrium to dance the night away until our heads hit our pillows in the gorgeous Honeymoon suite with our nearest and dearest staying onsite in the coach house, keepers cottage and the Yurts! We honestly had the best day of our lives and we wish we could do it all again. It was truly amazing and I could not fault a single thing, I do honestly believe that Wyresdale is The VERY BEST VENUE there is.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, and a huge part of that was thanks to this incredible venue. The team went above and beyond to make everything ran smoothly, and the space itself is stunning. We felt completely supported from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We chose Brockholes as the venue for our wedding on 24th May 2025 and we couldn't be happier with how the day went. As nature lovers, Brockholes was the perfect setting for us to tie the knot and I cannot praise the Brockholes team highly enough for everything they did for us, from our initial enquiry 18 months before to last orders on the day itself. Our wedding coordinator Leah was always went out of her way to accommodate us during the planning process and leading up to the day could not have gone smoother. She answered all of our questions and concerns about the planning side and always made time to meet with us to confirm details and answer our questions. On the day, catering manager Ian and his team couldn't have worked harder to make sure our day was perfect in every detail. I can't put into words just how accommodating they all were and how they made sure we and our guests were looked after every second of the day. Their level of professionalism simply couldn't be beaten. I wholeheartedly recommend Brockholes as a wedding venue. The place itself is nothing short of spectacular (even if the weather takes a turn as it did for us) and the on-site team are absolutely fantastic. Thank you again to the whole team for making our day so special.
