Our wedding day was truly unforgettable, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible team at Wennington. Six months prior to our big day, our original venue went up for sale by the owners which wasn’t communicated, and although once I enquired what was happening we were told they would honour our wedding date, I didn’t feel confident as communication was already poor, and I didn’t know what service we would receive on the day. After a quick call with Alicia at Wennington, the team completely put my worries to rest. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating, helping to ease my stress and walk me through all the possibilities to bring my vision to life. With only six months to go, we still managed our meal tasting and a number of meetings to discuss how the day would unroll. I was provided with all the information I needed and then we worked on what I wanted to build into the day and any random requests to make our day special. Even when it rained in the morning, they seamlessly adjusted the plans to ensure everything ran smoothly. While the venue itself is stunning, it was the team that truly made our day exceptional. They took care of every detail, went out of their way to make sure I was happy, and ensured all our guests were well taken care of. From the smallest touches to the big moments, their dedication was evident. We had the most amazing day, completely stress-free, knowing the team had everything under control. The photos and videos turned out beautifully, and we've received so many wonderful comments about how much everyone enjoyed the wedding and how relaxed they felt, thanks to the team's impeccable planning. We couldn't be more grateful for everything they did to make our day perfect. The venue of our dreams truly came to life, especially after completing the first stage of its renovation. Every detail was absolutely breathtaking, from the elegant ceiling and light fittings to the stunning staircase and beautiful wedding breakfast room. The space was so impressive that I was able to scale back on the florals, as the venue itself already had such a perfect, minimalistic charm. The rooms were thoughtfully laid out, and our honeymoon stay was exceptional. It was the ideal blend of newly renovated sophistication, romance, and grandeur – everything we could have hoped for and more.

We adore Lancaster Brewery as a venue, and it was perfect for our wedding! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were wonderful as always. Gemma was really helpful throughout the whole planning process and everything ran so smoothly.

We recently got married at the beautiful Ashton Memorial in Lancaster, and it truly was the most magical setting we could have imagined. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the perfect place for us, the stunning architecture, marble floors, and panoramic views made it feel timeless and elegant. We’ve both loved Ashton Memorial for years especially the inside, so the venue felt like a natural fit for our wedding. On the day, the temperature reached 30 degrees, but the marble floors and spacious interior kept everything cool and comfortable, a small detail that made a big difference! Our ceremony felt so special and personal. We had a string quartet playing throughout, performing songs we had hand-picked together, and the acoustics inside the building were absolutely incredible. Every note carried beautifully, adding to the atmosphere and making the whole moment unforgettable. The team at Ashton Memorial were also fantastic, friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. After planning our wedding for three years, it was such a joy to see everything come together so perfectly.

Staff were friendly, professional and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble! The venue was beautiful, with stunning views and the addition of llamas, donkeys, sheep and alpacas to mingle with the guests was particularly memorable. The decor is rustic and quirky with a laid back feel and the on-site prop shed, with countless available props, ensured that you can add your own personal style into the mix. The food was excellent and they happily catered for our guests with dietary restrictions. The Wellbeing Farm is excellent value for money, with an extensive range of available added extras to enhance your wedding day!

We had our after-wedding party here in the grand hall above the cafe, and it was amazing. We chose this hall for its rustic looks and charm, and it was just what we were looking for. Moira and Bryn, the owners, were fantastic in looking after our needs. The food they made for us (5-finger buffet) was of high quality and very tasty. And the cakes were also absolutely delicious. Nothing was left over, and our guests kept commenting on the fantastic venue and food. Everything couldn’t have been any better. It is a class location with lovely service and people.
