The location was stunning, every detail was perfect, and your professionalism and organisation made everything run so smoothly. Where to start. The Shireburn Arms is such a wonderful venue. We visited a year ago and were so impressed by the views, the space and most importantly, Sarah, the event coordinator. She was beyond helpful from start to finish and could not do more to help us. It was so important having a person there who could guide you through planning this enormous event. All the staff, including Yasmin, Peter and Lewis, were incredible and a credit to the company. The venue itself is gorgeous - we were married in the larger room, but had access to the smaller room and bar as well as the games room downstairs. 70 guests were comfortable and entertained throughout. My little boy especially loved the chess set! The food was amazing, the canapés were delicious and well worth adding if you’ve got an early ceremony. We chose the classic package and could not fault any of the food. Guests commented on how luxe everything was. The rooms are beautiful too. I stayed in room 4 the night before, which has the most beautiful high ceilings and then the bridal suite, which honestly we didn’t make the most of as we rolled into bed at 1am and out at 7am! Honestly, I can’t say anything negative or even neutral about the venue or the staff. It was just amazing and I can’t wait to come back and visit soon.

Having our wedding at Mitton Hall was the perfect experience from beginning to end. From the first meeting with Sarah, then with Emily and the other ladies in charge of organizing it, they were excellent, professionals, sweet and truly seemed to care about our day. It didn't feel as if we were "just one more couple" getting married there. The day of the wedding, it all went perfectly smoothly. We had Chad as our event manager and he was a star. Also Emma at reception! The warmth, the timing, the way of handling all situations, it was all that we could ask for. The whole staff from Mitton Hall, everyone involved in our day, made sure to be as helpful and caring as possible, which made all the difference. The place itself is a dream, and it felt like a fairytale to get married at such a venue. I can't recommend it highly enough! Now with the new garden, it is looking great for a spring/summer wedding outdoors! Mitton Hall is the perfect place not only to have your wedding there, but also if you want to just go for an afternoon tea, or for a quiet weekend at a beautiful countryside location.

Me and my husband only nipped by to see the venue and it wasn’t even dressed for weddings and we fell in love with it. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue and then all the staff just made it the perfect choice! Highly recommend to all, had so many guests say how amazing the venue is. Alice was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We had the best day we could have imagined at The Outbarn!

Gisburne Park Estate was the first venue we viewed. We both knew it was where we wanted to be married from the moment we set eyes on it. (We did look at one other venue, but our heads were never going to be turned.) From first being driven round the site by Steph and Jack, we knew this was the place and that these were the people we wanted to look after us and our guests. As we have family that would be coming up from London and the south coast, we were looking for a venue where everyone could be for the whole weekend. Joe’s parents, sisters and family were all able to stay together in The Stables House. Guests also stayed in the lodges at Ribblesdale Park, some glamped and a few couples stayed in the nearby White Bull pub. The site and the hot tubs were an all round big hit — what’s not to love when you’re greeted by deer and peacocks? We’d spent a couple of weekends at the lodges in the year before the wedding, so could recommend the accommodation and all the facilities in the area with full confidence. Steph was in regular contact from the time of booking to the weekend itself, helping us keep the planning all in good order and manageable. We had a wide range of ages to cater for, with one third of our guests under 18 and a fair few over 70s. So it was important to us that our wedding be as informal and chilled as possible, with the ceremony and photos being the only time where guests were required to be in a particular spot for any length of time. We wanted everyone to be free to do their thing and enjoy the party in their own ways. Steph, Jack and Tracy helped us to achieve this. We opted for the BBQ menu from Betty’s Kitchen and guests were free to eat outside or inside at tables of their choosing. The food was superb and everyone could select their food on the day, with all dietary requirements catered for without fuss. The late night pizzas were a big hit and helped keep the dancers going until midnight. Ste, the technician from Six15 did a great job with the dance floor lighting and was just lovely to have around on the day. As were all the bar and catering staff; they’re a really friendly, helpful team. We did have a timeline set out, but everyone was free to do as they wished and we made use of all the space in the tipis, outside in the grounds and around the fire pits. There was an epic 3 hour game of football, that continued through the speeches (with our blessing)! On the Sunday we enjoyed chilli and cake in the tipis followed by time at the pool. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t so kind to us that day, but the sun came out at all the right times on the wedding day itself. If it hadn’t, the tipis are so roomy we know we would all have been just fine. The day was all that we had hoped for and it was a truly special and very “us”. The ceremony tipi, in the woods by the stream is magical. Being able to stay in the middle of it all in Riverside House is just dreamy. I was tipped off by another bride to make sure I looked out the window to watch our guests walking down the hill and seeing the venue for the first time — such a lovely moment. The words of my uncle: “It was a wonderful day. Creative, imaginative, unique, easy-going, spectacular, poetic, ethereal, grounded. What more to say.” And another friend commented just how “accessible and joyful it was for all”, which meant a huge amount to us as it was our aim and of course we could not have achieved that without all the efforts of the Gisburne and Betty’s Tipis team. Gisburne is a very special place. We loved our day and are looking forward to coming back to stay at Ribblesdale Park for anniversaries or family get togethers in the years to come.

From the moment we first laid our eyes on Eaves hall we knew it was our dream wedding venue! ❤️ From our first visit, to many return trips to show our friends & family, to the meetings leading up to the big day Maddison exceeded all our expectations. She was always available to answer any questions we had & made the process seamless. Tom was our wedding day coordinator who went above & beyond on the day. Thank you to all the team for making our dream day a reality, it really couldn’t have gone any better & we would do it all again in a heartbeat if we could All our love The Sutcliffes ❤️

Holmes mill were just incredible!! From looking round to even after the wedding date they were nothing short of amazing! Their communication was brilliant and the venue its self is breathtakingly stunning. The wedding coordinator - Sam was brilliant!! Little things that you don’t even consider before the day were already done and his attention to detail and support throughout the day was exceptional!! The hotel was stunning and the hotel staff were amazing at moving belongings and ensuring all our personal items were moved to the pent house the day of the wedding. The food: One of the selling points for us was the food menu - the temple of beer buffet was exceptional. The food was beautiful and portion sizes were perfect! The pie factory for the evening reception was a massive hit with the guests and the pies were delicious. We cannot thank the Holmes mill team for such an amazing day and their attention to detail! They just know what they’re doing!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team than at Hobbit Hill. From the very start, they were absolutely amazing, always so helpful, friendly and quick to answer any questions we had in the lead-up to the big day. A huge thank you to Jen and the whole team for making everything run so smoothly and for being so supportive throughout the entire journey. We had the most incredible day, everything was perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is just stunning; the combination of the beautiful forest surroundings and the rustic barn made it the dreamiest setting we could have ever imagined for our wedding. Thank you so much again to everyone at Hobbit Hill for helping make our day so special, it was everything we’d hoped for and more.

Browsholme was the venue of choice for us as soon as we visited. They were professional, dog friendly, but most of all flexible with the suppliers you can have which made us feel our wedding was a special day, and not a rinse and repeat you can often have in other venues. Rebecca, Gina, Eleanor and the team were SO helpful, and even with last minute changes were able to accommodate everything. They worked with Amore to decorate the venue, and it was everything we had hoped for and more!
