Attended a wedding last Saturday in the Kip Marina. The views and surroundings were breathtaking, complimented by lovely weather. The Chartroom itself is a lovely venue and the staff were efficient and friendly. Only drawback is probably the size of the place, it is a very small venue, with a tiny dancefloor, no room to move, especially when doing caelidh dances etc. Food was lovely and we didnt have to wait too long on being served. Drink was expensive, alcohol and soft drinks for the kids, so bring plenty of money with you. Music was terribly loud too which was quite irritating, probably due to the venue being so small. All in all we had a good day and i think as long as your not inviting too many people, this is a lovely venue.
