From the outset the team at Nant Gwrtheyrn were professional, hard working and passionate about ensuring that our day would run as smoothly and magically as possible.
The setting was perfect; with the stunning view of the cliffs and sea, the traditional Welsh chapel, beautifully renovated quarrymen’s cottages and stylish yet homely hall and cafe.
Fantastic food and drink was served by warm, friendly staff. Accomodation requests were carefully coordinated to ensure a perfect stay for all guests.

From the very beginning Emma dug out to help accommodate all our requests, we had a lot of dietry requirements for our guest and that was all taken care of by the team at nant.
We were given facilities to set up a few days before, relieving a lot of pressure doing it all the day before.

The venue was outstanding, soo beautiful with the mountains in the back and the sea to the front.

Enough space on site for all the guest to stay (we had 87).
We made a full weekend of it with people going swimming in the sea and walks up the mountains making it a very relaxed environment.

The food was amazing and having the drinks reception on the balcony just made for the perfect setting.

All in all we couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate our big day and a very greatful to all the staff at nant, you are amazing

The scenery is stunning - the pictures give you an idea but it’s even better in person. And of course having the chapel, the hall and the accommodation in one place makes for a much more relaxed day.

But it’s really the people who work at Nant Gwrtheyrn who make it the most amazing place to get married. Emma had endless patience and smiles, leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. She and the rest of the team waiting tables, behind the bar, in the kitchen, cleaning up and looking after the gorgeous accommodation, were all very friendly and worked so hard to give us the happiest weekend of our lives. I smiled so much my face hurt. Thank you so much to everyone at Nant Gwrtheyrn. Diolch yn fawr!

We absolutely loved our weekend at Nant – it was everything we had hoped for and more 💕
I decided I wanted to get married there from a very young age because it’s such a beautiful, magical place – and it truly lived up to that dream.

One of the things we loved most was how exclusive the venue felt. Being able to have our closest loved ones stay over on the Friday night and enjoy an evening meal together made the whole weekend feel so special and relaxed. The cottages were lovely and spotlessly clean. Some of our guests did have a bit of difficulty booking accommodation online, but the accommodation staff were very helpful and quickly sorted it over the phone.

Breakfast was also amazing both days – a proper full breakfast, which everyone appreciated! 🥓🍳

Emma, our wedding coordinator, was incredible throughout the entire journey. From our very first visits, she was so insightful and helpful, patiently answering our many questions over email. On the day itself, she worked tirelessly to make sure everything went smoothly. We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better coordinator – she helped create the day we had always dreamed of.

The food was absolutely delicious and a real highlight for many of our guests, who commented on how fresh and hot it all was – not always guaranteed at weddings! 🍽 The catering and bar staff were also so friendly and worked incredibly hard throughout the day.

As for the venue itself – it is just breathtaking. You honestly couldn't find a more picturesque place to get married. Every view is like something out of a painting. Our guests were all blown away with the views and kept saying they felt like they were on holidays abroad.

If we had to mention one small downside, it’s that external food providers aren't allowed – we had originally hoped to have a pizza van for the evening – but Emma offered us great alternatives, and in the end, everything turned out perfectly.

Our daughter and son-in-law got married here recently - they really did choose the most perfect venue!
The setting is spectacular, an amazing coastal location surrounded by steep hills with views over the coastline and we enjoyed a fantastic sunset on the evening of the wedding.
Emma, the Wedding and Events Leader, and all her team are incredibly professional and caring, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Emma was always quick to answer queries and offer guidance from the first enquiry through to the magical day itself when she worked tirelessly to ensure the everything ran smoothly.
It was lovely have so many of our family and friends stay for two nights in the comfortable cottages on site - minimal travelling on the wedding day and more time to celebrate!
We would highly recommend Nant Gwrtheyrn as a wedding venue.

Nant Gwrtheyrn is a very special place to get married. Emma the wedding and events leader was amazing she guided us through everything from start to finish. All the staff can’t do enough for you and happy to help with anything they are so approachable didn’t matter how big or small. All our guest were amazed by the venue. Accommodation was great and suitable if you have children attending the wedding as there is plenty of space for them to run around.
On the day Emma and the team went over and above to make sure that we had a special and intimate day and boy did they deliver…!!

There isn’t another venue that comes close to Nant Gwrtheyrn. The drive down, the setting, the cottages, the sea, the staff…. this place simply has it all. We felt lucky to have been given the opportunity to get married here, just wished we could have made it all last longer.

We cannot thank Emma and everyone involved enough, for taking all the pressure off us, and most of all for doing it all with a bright smile, everytime and whatever we asked of them. Nothing was a problem, just very accomodating and friendly.

The fact that we can stay in Nant Gwrtheyrn anytime too, or come for a coffee/food as we wish, to re-live the day a little, a dip in the sea perhaps, is really appealing. We re-visit regularly!

My experience with Nant Gwrtheyrn was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The staff, and especially Emma, were all amazing, helpful and made the whole process completely seamless. The venue itself is stunning, and in the best location, with fantastic views of the sea! The accommodation for us and our guests was also of an extremely high standard and we loved having everyone together for two nights with no need to worry about travel arrangements.

I still can't believe how lucky we were to find this venue and highly recommend to anyone!
