As Pickwell Manor re‑opens for weddings this year, we have a small number of weekend dates available due to our relaunch — a rare opportunity to celebrate here with short‑notice availability, not last‑minute cancellations.

Come Away Together and Celebrate

At Pickwell Manor, you can gather up to 60 of your nearest and dearest for an unforgettable wedding celebration in our gorgeous coastal manor house. Alongside the beautifully restored apartments within the house, we also offer three luxurious woodland treehouses, giving you and your guests something truly special to enjoy.

We specialise in intimate family wedding celebrations, where you have exclusive use of the house and grounds, all your guests stay on site together, and you’re free to shape your wedding in a way that feels completely your own. Pickwell Manor is ideal for families, and dogs are very welcome too.

With a games room, hot tubs,tennis court, a treasure hunt around the grounds and our much‑loved Pirate Island, there’s plenty to enjoy for all ages. We’re also happy to help organise or recommend wonderful family or group activities, on‑site or nearby, if you’d like little people, or everyone to be entertained.

Our oak‑panelled ballroom sits at the heart of the manor and is perfect for dining, speeches and celebrating together. For your ceremony, you may choose one of our beautiful local churches or complete the legal formalities at the nearby registry office then enjoy a personalised, meaningful ceremony on site.

Every ceremony can be thoughtfully tailored to suit your wishes. Our recommended local celebrant is experienced in creating inclusive, flexible celebrations and has a particular understanding of weddings involving guests with additional or sensory needs, ensuring everyone feels comfortable, welcome and involved.

You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol and choose your own caterers. If you’d prefer support, we’re also very happy to help arrange trusted local caterers, private chefs or dining experiences to suit your celebration. We have excellent local recommendations and love helping couples plan a wedding that reflects who they are.

Just five minutes’ drive from the sea or a longer walk with beautiful views you can enjoy the sweeping sands of Putsborough Beach or stay closer to home. Whether you’re relaxing on the terrace taking in the coastal views, playing croquet on the lawns or wandering down to the beach, Pickwell Manor is a place to connect, celebrate and share the joy of time spent together.
