I had my wedding breakfast and reception in the mill room at Morley Hayes on 30th April 2026.
From the moment I booked the package Megan and the rest of the events team have been amazing every question I had emailed them was answered promptly.
I chose the decoration package and the room looked absolutely beautiful the staff did an amazing job.
We had a set menu we had a good choice to choose from for the wedding party, we choose a choice of 2 starters.
The food was so delicious all guests commented on how good it was especially
2 of my guests who have celiac disease and they had the exact same as everyone else but gluten free, I also had gluten and Dairy free guest who had the same they couldn’t believe how tasty their food was and said they’d never tasted such delicious food especially the cheese cake.
Jane the master of ceremonies ( I think that’s what it’s called )was an absolute gem , she organised everything professionally , shes such an all round lovely person and a total credit to Morley Hayes as were all the staff just wish I remembered the waitress and waiter serving our meals so professional and lovely youngsters they too are a credit to Morley Hayes.
The evening reception was set up after the meal and it was a very quick turnaround , the tables were decorated just as lovely as daytime.
We used the DJ that the events team put in our package at the start he was really good and very reasonably priced.
The buffet in the evening was top quality and there was loads to go round I haven’t seen a buffet like that ever, the food was amazing and there was so much choice.
Had the best day and night and that that was down to all the waiting staff, kitchen staff, bar staff , events team and off course Jane who made it all relaxed and stress free and unforgettable.
The room we had for the evening stay wow it was so beautiful with a bottle of champagne and a view over the golf course with a balcony to sit with cuppa in morning, breakfast in morning plenty of choice and staff very professional we loved it so much we’re booking a few days there in July as we couldn’t get a honeymoon.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue i recommend Morley Hayes 100% just give them a call you won’t regret it.

The events team were extremely helpful and accommodating. On the day everything ran just as we had planned, even the weather behaved itself and the sun came out for photos to be taken outside. The serving staff did a fantastic job and the food was amazing. The suggested DJ was also great.
We couldn't have had a better day.

On Saturday 27th December 2025, we had our wedding at Morley Hayes in the Mill Room. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish, the events team were brilliant and were quick to respond to every question I had, they put me at ease and I put my full trust in them. It ran like clock work and they did everything I asked, the toast master was wonderful and made sure it ran smoothly, she was waiting for us on arrival and she just mad my day extra special. The food was great and the confetti bombs, sparklers and snow machine finished it off perfectly. I would get married here over and over again, the Penthouse suite was free in our package and I did not want to leave, the view was lovely and the bottle of champagne was a perfect touch. We look forward to renewing our wedding vows here in the future.

We had a twilight wedding at Morley Hayes and it was nothing short of magical. The fantastic Christmas decorations all around the hotel made it extra special.

What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every single person was attentive, professional and genuinely invested in making it magical. Nothing was too much trouble and everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day

The whole day was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for them especially when we wanted to change things in the last couple of weeks, they let us help set the room upto how we wanted it. Very friendly and attentive staff throughout the whole process and certainly were on the day too. Food was amazing and everyone loved the whole vibe and setting

When my now husband and I went to view Morley Hayes as a potential venue for our wedding day, Carol was great in explaining everything and made us feel so welcome. We knew after that meeting that we wanted to have our wedding day with Morley Hayes. From that first meeting to the day of the wedding, the communication was great and the team were very responsive to my many questions.

In terms of cost, we opted for the afternoon tea package for the day and the Morley BBQ for the evening and although the cost for the food and drinks included with these was our biggest outgoing for the day, it was well worth it. The only thing I wish we had asked for was cheese for the burgers on the BBQ, but all of our guests commented on how amazing the food was for the afternoon tea and evening BBQ. The staff were hardworking and couldn’t do enough for everyone on the day. We never needed to worry about anything which was a huge relief.

Jane, Andrew and their team were great on the day, ensuring that everyone was where they needed to be at the right time. The only thing I would say is that despite me informing staff the night before that the cool bag containing our cake and Lindt chocolate favours needed to be put out in the morning for our venue styler to put out, this was forgotten. If I hadn’t of had one of my bridesmaids check the venue on the morning then we wouldn’t have known. It is minor but I think I would have been upset if I’d gotten into the room and they weren’t there.

We had our wedding outside at the wedding dome and it was beautiful, the sun came out just as I was walking down the aisle and honestly it was perfect. We loved the space in the gardens after which was set up for reception drinks, and we also had photos outside. Morley Hayes has such beautiful places for photo opportunities and our photographer was familiar with the venue so knew all the great spots.

The rest of our day took place in the Pavilion Suite which was perfect for our afternoon tea, and also the evening BBQ which was served on the balcony. It was exactly the space we needed for our day.

We had the in house DJ (Alan) at a reasonable cost. We had liaised via email beforehand with a general overview of what genres etc we wanted and a specific playlist for our rock/metal/alternative section of the night. Alan was really lovely but I think misunderstood what we asked for and was very keen on sticking to the examples of music we sent (intended it to be more of a guide to what types of music we would like playing rather than a strict list). We had to explain that we were happy for him to play songs that guests had requested as he had told people he had to stick to the playlist. However, this doesn’t take away from the job he did and we would have him again if we did the day again. Our guests had a great night, and there was always someone on the dance floor. Alan finished with “Sweet Caroline” which was absolutely fantastic and ended the night perfectly.

We upgraded to the honeymoon suite for the night of our wedding but I think this isn’t necessary unless you’re going to do two nights as we barely spent any time in the room so really didn’t get to enjoy the facilities. Our 6 year old son particularly liked the tv that came out the end of the huge bed we had. There is a beautiful bath in the room too. However, I stayed in a Superior room the night before with my two bridesmaids and the room we had was also really beautiful.

Have to mention the staff again. Carol has been so kind and helpful from that first show round, to the details appointment and throughout, as well as the rest of the events team. Jane for leading the day, you were great. Andrew took the wedding party round to the wedding dome in the golf buggy that was decorated with flowers which was a nice touch. Sally and the hotel team were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble when we asked for a few things. Wendy and the restaurant team were so friendly and welcoming when we went for our breakfast (which was absolutely fantastic). The bar staff on the evening (I want to say Ollie and Jack?) of the wedding worked hard and made sure drinks were served in a timely manner and I don’t think the queue for the bar ever really got too long. It really does make a difference on the day when you don’t have to worry about anything because the staff have it all in hand.

Overall, there really was nothing negative I can say about the day. We felt so relaxed and were able to enjoy every part of our day (which went by so fast). We only wish the day was longer. If we could do it all again we would absolutely book with Morley Hayes again. Thank you so much!

We got married at Gretna Green and held our evening wedding reception at Morley Hayes in the Granary Loft.

We had the 9 option buffet and had so many comment's from guests about how good the food was. There was so much of it it!

We chose to have the in-house DJ and he did a fantastic job. We also had the Photobooth. Again, everyone loved it.

We had a lovely evening, as did all of our guests. We would absolutely recommend!

The team at Morley Hayes were very flexible and easy going - this was welcomed! We did not feel pressure leading up to our day, nor on the day either. The entire team were super friendly! Overall a fantastic experience. Thank you!

Morley Hayes was a wonderful wedding venue. We had our reception meal here and they accommodated a twilight wedding to our needs. Jane did an excellent job on the day in keeping the day moving. She also made sure we had drinks and canapes! I was also grateful that Morley Hayes were flexible with drinks and suggested adjusting quantities to give our guests what they wanted.
I thought Morley Hayes were very responsive but pre-wedding I did feel that I needed to keep prompting the team to firm up details ahead of the day. Bringing the stuff for set up was also a bit tricky as there were various events on and we ended up moving stuff around. But overall, we loved our day and Morley Hayes made it very special!

We had an outdoor ceremony that was in beautiful gardens with lots of space for photos. Cost was good especially for the service we received. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The staff were amazing and thoughtful. We were informed about every step throughout the day. We cannot thank everyone at Morley Hayes for making our day as special as it was!
