This was the first wedding venue we viewed and the last as we rushed to book it straight away!

I could not recommend this venue and their team enough. Firstly value for money is amazing - you get an insane amount of photo opportunities both in the riding hall, the secret gardens and the grounds itself (which are huge and full of different scenery) and to follow on from this we had a huge amount of compliments on our food choice (in house catering) the chef made sure to check in with us prior and on the day about small details and really put effort and passion into their food - which was so yum and very nicely presented.

The venue was very flexible and relaxed as to when we could set up our decor etc, and offered help wherever they could - nothing seemed like too much for them. Natasha the wedding coordinator was super lovely, down to earth and made me and my partner feel relaxed and looked after - nothing was too much trouble and she seemed enthusiastic about our day. The wider team were also great, very polite, attentive and very friendly - all my guests complimented this.

Overall if you wish for a countryside, old money, downtown abbey type venue that is very friendly, relaxed and helpful this is the place! The venue didn’t even need much dressing as the character of the building was enough!

I would just like to say from myself and my husband, thank you so much to all. I can’t express how good the service was from staff all day. All my guests said the same. Nothing was to much for them. The room was stunning and tasha was amazing. Anything we required she would try to meet and provide. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a memorable weddding day.

We honestly cannot recommend Thoresby Riding Hall highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything felt absolutely perfect. The venue itself was simply stunning, it genuinely felt like stepping into a fairy tale and provided the most beautiful setting for our wedding day.

One of the most magical elements of the day was the way the venue was beautifully decorated by A Touch of Charm, who are included within the wedding packages. Their styling completely transformed the space, and the attention to detail was second to none. The bridal bouquet was absolutely breathtaking, perfectly complementing the theme of the day, while the bridesmaids’ bouquets were equally stunning and beautifully coordinated. Our little girl was also made to feel so special with her delicate wand, which she adored and carried with so much pride. The table pieces were perfect in every way, tying everything together and creating an elegant, fairy tale look that our guests couldn’t stop admiring.

A huge thank you to Natasha, our wonderful wedding coordinator, who was incredible from start to finish. Her organisation, attention to detail and calm approach made us feel completely looked after throughout the entire day. With the support of the whole Thoresby team, everything ran seamlessly and we never once had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes.

A special mention also has to go to Lauren, who helped coordinate the catering side alongside the chef. The food was genuinely out of this world. We chose a BBQ-style wedding breakfast and it was absolutely incredible, beautifully prepared, full of flavour and enjoyed by every single one of our guests.

The ceremony itself went so smoothly, and the transition from the ceremony set-up into the wedding reception was flawless. It was amazing to see how effortlessly the team transformed the space while allowing us and our guests to simply enjoy the day. Everything happened without us even having to think about it.

And then came the evening buffet and wow! There was enough food to feed thousands! Everything was hot, plentiful and delicious, with more than enough for all of our guests. It was exactly what you want at the end of an incredible wedding day.

The DJ that was included was absolutely brilliant, we chose a set amount of songs that we wanted and then he played the best mix of music to get everyone dancing. He took requested on the dancefloor, and kept everyone on their feet all night.

From the breathtaking venue, incredible food and flawless organisation to the genuinely lovely and professional team, Thoresby Riding Hall gave us the perfect wedding day. Every little detail came together beautifully, and we have memories that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

We booked a premium package with Thoresby back in 2024 for a 2026 wedding, this included decor, table settings, a meal, and plenty of drinks for the guests. We couldn't have asked for more. Natasha was lovely and was with us every step of the way, she was always calm and knew what she was doing. On the day she met me (the bride) by the car and walked me through everything that would be happening.
The venue was beautiful, all of our guests commented on the place. We had both the ceremony and the reception there and with the private garden it was perfect. The set up and changes to the room were all seamless and there was nothing we had to worry about.
Would highly recommend the BBQ as the main meal, there was plenty to go around, it catered to many dietary requirements and was absolutely delicious.
There was nothing we'd change, we highly recommend Thoresby Park for weddings!

The team at Thoresby Park were fantastic in the discovery, planning, setup and delivery of our wedding - big thank you to Natasha and the team for making it such an easy process and such a fantastic day! The team handled all our questions with clarity and patience, and really did the most to make the vision of our wedding reception come to life. We came the day before with our family to decorate the Riding Hall (which is already stunning with thousands of twinkling lights) and we had a lot of freedom to do what we wanted with the place. Our families also stayed on the on-site AirBnBs and had the best time. On the day, the secret garden had a lot of use from our guests, who enjoyed playing games with live music outside. Our three course meal was absolutely fabulous and everyone loved it (the chef went the extra mile and even made us two some béarnaise sauce for our roast even though it wasn’t very traditional!). Overall, we had a really special time and made some wonderful memories at Thoresby - we couldn’t recommend this place more highly for a wedding.

We had our wedding reception at Thoresby riding hall. What can I say, wow, absolutely fantastic. Natasha Drury and her team were just perfect, they were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The venue was beautiful, the food was excellent. I honestly can’t recommend Natasha and the team enough. Thank you all so much for everything.

My wedding was from the start amazing and made even more special by the staff from Thoresby. I got married in there church and had the wedding breakfast in Thoresby riding hall. From being shown around from Natasha Drury I know I had picked the right place she made me feel so confident that I had picked the right place And she went through everything and was in constant contact with me all the time.The packages they have were beyond amazing they had a venue styling who were called Touch of charm I would highly recommend as everyone was blown away with the room on the day. The chef and his team went above and beyond for us and they had to cater for 280 people but nothing was to much the tasting session was amazing aswell so many dishes to choose from.

We Couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planer, Natasha and all of her team did us so proud. They went above and beyond to make our special day PERFECT!! and we are truly grateful for everything they have done xx thank you so much xx

Thoresby Riding Hall is a truly amazing venue. We had our evening wedding reception here and Natasha, Lauren and all the team went above and beyond to make everything perfect. When you walk in the room it has got the wow factor with all the twinkling lights everywhere. We had the hot and cold buffet for 150 people and it was beautiful food and brilliant value for money. ( we were quoted a lot more at another venue which was nowhere near as beautiful) Our guests loved it and we got so many comments saying how gorgeous everything was. We definitely made the right choice having our wedding reception here.

We loved Thoresby park as soon as we saw it, the twinkling lights of the riding hall and the beautiful secret garden.
We were originally meant to marry in 2023 but when our daughter made a surprise appearance we had to postpone, and Thoresby were super flexible and accommodating!
Flash forward to 2025, we felt in very safe hands with Natasha answering all questions / queries very promptly. On the day things went really well (at least from my perspective) - if anything did go wrong I don’t know about it! They also sorted things before I even had a chance to think about them, such as background music between the harpist & dj and also cleaning up any spillages.

The whole day was perfect for us and we could just enjoy the day because we were so looked after by all of the staff. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. The unique, barn-style hall with sparkling fairy lights draped across the ceiling created the most magical and romantic atmosphere for our day—it truly felt like something out of a dream.

From the very beginning, everything was so well organised. The team took care of every detail and made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork, allowing us to relax and just enjoy the celebrations.

The catering was absolutely exceptional. Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, but the team went above and beyond to cater to all of our requests and dietary needs. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful the BBQ & Cheeseboard was!

Amazing start to finish. We moved our wedding at thoresby a year forward they worked with us every step. I was nervous and would ask loads of question go and see the staff the chef nothing was Eva an issue. The venue,staff,chef couldn't do anymore for us they went over and above. We had everything we planned for. Everyone who came to our wedding expressed how they loved the venue how you was able to sit out how nice the staff were. Food were amazing. 💯 recommend this venue. X
