The Gallery and Glass Barn are grand spaces in which to say your vows. The Glass Barn is easily transformed for your drinks reception with plenty of relaxed seating, just perfect for your guests all year round. The Oak Hall has rustic charm and a wall of windows overlooking the pretty courtyard which provides an abundance of natural daylight. It also benefits from fully stocked bars, has ample space for a dance floor and creates an elegant backdrop for your wedding breakfast. The most perfect day!
Everything about the day was more than anything we could have imagined! From the first time we went to view the venue to leaving the day after our wedding, everything was so thoughtful and just everything we dreamed off. The staff went above and beyond constantly! Louise our coordinator had thought of every single detail, and was always available to answer any questions we had. The staff on the day were so attentive, especially Brian who all our guests said was just so helpful and kind! The day went so smoothly and it’s all thanks to the staff! The venue is stunning, the food was delicious and accommodation was lovely! The venue offered everything we wanted! Accommodation for the night before, a venue that feels like everyone will be together all night partying, amazing food, stunning views, accommodation for guests the night of the weeding! We can’t recommend Swancar enough! They really made our wedding the best day of our lives!

Tammy is an absolute credit to Swancar, and we honestly cannot thank her enough for everything she did to make sure our wedding day ran perfectly from start to finish.
From our very first wedding meeting, Tammy made the whole planning process feel so exciting, enjoyable and completely effortless. We clicked with her straight away and felt like we could ask her anything. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we genuinely couldn’t have wished for a better wedding coordinator to be by our side throughout the whole journey.
Our wedding day itself was absolutely perfect. Everything ran so smoothly, and we were able to completely relax and enjoy every second knowing we were in the best possible hands. Even a heatwave couldn’t stop Swancar from making our day incredible! ☀️😂
From the bottom of our hearts, Swancar will always hold such a special place in our hearts. We are so incredibly grateful to Tammy and every single member of the Swancar team for everything they did to make our wedding so magical and memorable.
Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue, from the incredible food, the amazing staff, the beautiful rooms and, of course, the stunning grounds. Every single detail was perfect. Above and beyond 💫
We cannot recommend Swancar enough!
From our very first visit we felt so welcomed. Every staff member was lovely and polite and we truly felt that they wanted to help us.
The venue itself is stunning with many great features both inside and out. Having the Stables to stay the night before was fantastic and we were so thankful of the stunning Glass Barn to have our group photographs in due to the rainy weather.
We cannot thank Louise enough for her time, patience and advice throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was always onboard with our ideas (however crazy they may be) and we knew that our wedding day would be in safe hands with her. On the day, she was always around to help guide and support not only us but our families and friends. Thank you once again, Louise.
All the staff were amazing on the day but we truly felt Meleisha went above and beyond, ensuring we were looked after throughout the whole day and especially in the evening. I remember meeting Meleisha for the first time at our food taster event so it was lovely to have her with us on the day.
The food at Swancar surpassed our expectations, even after our taster event - which we highly recommend if you are able to book on! Having the choice menu worked perfectly for us (being a very fussy eater) and many of our guests commented on how fabulous the day and evening food was.
We are so glad we chose to have our wedding at Swancar and cannot thank the team enough!

Wonderful Sunday Wedding at Swancar
What a wonderful wedding day we had at Swancar! From start to finish, the process was made easy with Tammy as our wedding planner. We fell in love with the venue when we first saw it, and two years later on our wedding day we realised we had made the right choice.
Couldn't fault Swancar for anything- the food was delicious and large portions, the staff were friendly and helpful including the wonderful Tammy who strive to respond quickly and answer all questions we had via email during the planning process.
The location is beautiful and so special being an exclusive venue, allowing you to have the full attention of the staff on your day.
They accommodated everything that we asked for and made our day magical.
Definitely value for money and would recommend to anyone in Nottinghamshire.

We only had six months to plan our wedding, which felt terrifying until we met the Swancar team. Louise, our wedding planner, was an absolute dream and made the whole journey completely stress-free. The entire experience was simply perfection! Swancar is a visual masterpiece packed with character; whether you're taking in the rolling countryside views, relaxing in the courtyard, admiring the rustic-elegant oak hall and stylish glass barn, or stepping into the intimate orangery, every corner of this venue is truly unforgettable.

Best day of our lives!
Cannot recommend Swancar Farm Country House enough, we had the most perfect day. The staff were amazing and Tammy made our day seamless, she kept us clam throughout and nothing was too much to ask. We’ve only had positive feedback from our guests on the venue, the food and the overflow experience. Wish we could do it all over again! Thank you again to all the staff at Swancar, a day we will remember for ever! Love Mr & Mrs Dudley x

Stunning venue
An absolutely beautiful venue. It gave a very elegant barn vibe with amazing natural lighting in the ceremony rooms for that magical feel. The accommodation for the bridal party the night before also gave that ‘second hen do’ vibe for a memorable night before the wedding. At the time of viewing there was a minimum ‘guest numbers’ that had to be met which was difficult for us as we wanted a more intimate wedding, we did ask if this could be met by a ‘minimum spend’ instead (I.e. spending more on food etc. to cover the smaller number of guests) but were told that wasn’t a possibility unfortunately

Amazing venue!!
We got married in March and wow it absolutely exceeded our expectations, right from the initial viewing back in 2021 we were wowed by Swancar. We viewed lots of venues but as soon as we looked here we both said yes straight away.
We were assigned a wedding co-ordinator who was Tammy and she was amazing, every meeting with her was great, lots of ideas and inspiration, very responsive to emails, the week before there were lots of little things I was worrying about and she responded to everything and ensured the whole day ran smoothly.
Honestly every little detail is thought about, the whole day runs so smoothly and every member of staff there is happy and enjoys your special day which is so nice to see! The food is amazing and portion sizes very generous, evening buffet we went for the chip shop buffet and you won’t be disappointed! Guests say the bar man was very generous too!
We stayed in the old stables the night before which is absolutely stunning and perfect for your night before. The whole experience is just exceptional and we 100% chose the right venue for our special day and one we will never forget! If you are considering getting married here just go for it you honestly won’t regret it!
