Everything I wished for!
I couldn''t have asked for anything more - everything was perfect. Amazing staff, superb food, spectaculr surroundings - cannot praise this venue enough!

Perfect in every way
Our wedding was held here in October, and it was a perfect venue. The building is such an amazing venue, we didn''t need any decorations, as it didn''t need any!! GUy Ritchie was filming his new movie at the time, so I was worried at first that things could go wrong, but the the staff were amazing, making sure they didn''t film during the service, and evne the crew joined in with taking photos!!! Just the most perfect venue for a special day

An really amazing venue
I had my wedding reception at Manchester Town Hall and cannnot say thank you enough to everyone involved. The venue is out of this world - i felt like a princess!!, food was superb and all the staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Definately the best venue to celebrate the most special day of your life!!

Best ever!
I went to my cousin's wedding at Manchester Town Hall in the December of 2002. I can honestly say, it was the best wedding reception I have ever been to and the other guests agreed. The food and service were amazing and the venue is magnificent. It helped that it was Christmas time as the market was busy in Albert square adding to the ambienced. As my cousin is Manchester born and bred, it was fitting that the reception was here as I consider the town hall to be the centre of Manchester. The photos were amazing and I have often told friends about it since. A truly memorable day!

Our wedding was perfect
Manchester Town Hall was the perfect setting for our wedding and on the day we were not let down. The staff all acted in a professional way and the food was amazing, evryone comented on how lovely it was. PLus you cannot beat the suroundings, your photos will be amazing! I rate the town hall as an excellent place to hold your wedding.

Fantastic - Could not of wished for more
As soon as myself and h2b visited the Town Hall we knew it was the place for us. The service was excellent and the food second to none. Our chosen photographer Gary Rowlands did a fantastic job at capturing some truly stunning pictures of our special day. We could not have asked for anything else

Good venue but not simple to deal with.
We got married at Manchester Town Hall last year. The venue was excellent on the wedding day and everything went without a hitch. The food was also very good. We found the venue a nightmare to deal with before the event making the planning very stressful. Our event co-ordinator was on job share so getting answers to questions was very slow. There was also poor communication between the event co-ordinator and the catering team, which was problematic e.g. we were told they do not provide a cake knife and spent ages looking for one to buy which was not really expensive only to find one on the cake table on our wedding day. When we recieved our schedule for our wedding day it was full of mistakes and errors. Another down side was that our photos were very dark and did not capture the impressive architecture of the building. Overall it was a good, well organised venue on the wedding day with excellent food, however they are let down by their events team. The reason for this might be that our co-ordinator was on job share, but this was our experience. I am sure other venues are a lot easier to plan your wedding with.

Beautiful venue, excellent service
An excellent wedding venue. We had our reception in the Great Hall there in August 2006. The staff we dealt with Joanne, Kelly and Margaret were very helpful throughout the process, and we were particularly impressed with the way they dealt with having several weddings on one day. Our reception took place on the same day as a wedding ceremony and a smaller reception in another room, but the staff arranged things so that none of our parties crossed at all. I loved the fact that the Great Hall is so large that there''s no need for a ''turn around''. With a party of our size 140 there is ample room for the reception tables plus the dance floor. The food is excellent, fairly contemporary in feel, with especially rave reviews for the ''Funky Canapes''. We were given a tasting session beforehand, where we could give suggestions such as to serve it with less sauce. Finally, it''s such an astonishingly beautiful building that the fact that it rained all day mattered not a job. I was very proud to be a bride there.
