We cannot recommend this venue highly enough! We had two ceremonies in one day, combining both English and Indian traditions, and the entire day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. The team were absolutely incredible – nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly.

When I first viewed the venue, I wasn't completely sure, but I took a chance because I believed in Fran and her vision. Looking back, I'm so glad I did. The venue looked absolutely stunning on the day and exceeded all of our expectations.

The value for money was exceptional too. The price was so reasonable considering everything that was included, and the level of service we received was outstanding.

So many of our guests commented on how amazing the staff were and how attentive they were throughout the day. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made such a difference and helped create a truly unforgettable experience.

10/10 would recommend – this venue is an absolute gem and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

Our wedding day on 22nd August 2026 was everything Craig and I could have ever dreamed of, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect place to say “I do.” From the moment we started planning our special day, we felt completely supported and looked after.
A very special thank you has to go to Francesca. You were absolutely amazing from start to finish. You helped guide us through all the little details, answered all our questions and, most importantly, gave us the reassurance that everything was going to be okay. Wedding planning can be stressful, but having someone like you there made such a difference. We genuinely felt that our wedding mattered to you just as much as it mattered to us. ❤️
And then came the big day… all staff were so attentive, caring and reassuring, constantly checking that everything was okay and that Craig and I had everything we needed. Because of you and the team, we were able to forget about everything else and simply enjoy being husband and wife surrounded by the people we love.
After all the planning, the countdown, the excitement and the nerves, the day went by in what felt like minutes. But every single moment was so special. Looking around the room and seeing our family and friends there, seeing everything we had planned finally come together, and knowing we were starting our next chapter together was something we will never forget.
The venue looked absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was incredible and every member of staff we came across was so lovely. But more than anything, it was the care and effort behind the scenes that made such a difference.

Staff were amazing , prices were very reasonable compared to other local venues . Very accommodating to our needs , nothing was too much trouble

From the moment we first met with Fran, we knew we were in good hands. We arrived with a long list of questions, but she was so knowledgeable and organised that she answered almost everything before we even had the chance to ask.

The whole team were incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process. My wife and I are both quite fussy eaters, but they were more than happy to work with us to create a BBQ-style buffet that suited exactly what we wanted, within reason. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

We had around 50–60 guests travelling from all over the country, with most making journeys of between two and six hours to celebrate with us. Having plenty of hotel rooms available on site was a huge advantage, as our guests could book directly with the hotel themselves. It meant we didn’t have to worry about organising transport to and from the reception or where everyone was going to stay, which took a huge amount of stress away from us.

On the day itself, everything ran perfectly and on time, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The staff were professional, friendly and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Without a doubt, this venue offers exceptional value for money. The quality of the service, flexibility and overall experience far exceeded our expectations, and we genuinely don’t think you’ll find better value anywhere else in the area. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding venue.

Mitchell Hall was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the very first meeting, Fran was utterly amazing. No question was too much trouble (even the 5 emails I sent her from midnight to 6am the night before the wedding!) on the day everything was spot on and just as it should be, there were no problems and everyone enjoyed themselves. From the moment we booked Mitchell Hall, the entire experience was immaculate. Every part of the organisation - from planning to the final moments of our wedding day - was handled with such care and professionalism. Nothing was ever too big an ask; the team genuinely made us feel like our wedding was their top priority.

Both the night team and day team worked seamlessly together to set up the venue exactly to our taste. The value for money is honestly unbelievable - you’d think it’s too good to be true, but it absolutely isn’t. They deliver far beyond expectations.

And the food… saying it was amazing feels like an understatement. Our guests practically licked their plates clean. The catering team worked closely with us to design a menu that felt personal and completely “us,” and everything on the day was flawless. The staff seemed genuinely excited to be part of our celebration, which made the atmosphere even more special.

We loved our day so much that we wish we could do it all over again at Mitchell Hall. Francesca was the best coordinator we could have asked for, and Lauren and Amy were incredible the night before - taking the time to understand our vision and helping us set up every detail perfectly.

Mitchell Hall gave us the wedding day we dreamed of, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We recently celebrated our wedding at this venue and it was not only the best price for all the details we got all the staff were amazing rooms and food were 100% would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful wedding venue but on a normal person's budget we spent under £4000 this included ceremony 3 course meal, breakfast Saturday and Sunday with the bridal room Friday to Sunday and a dj included and drinks for after ceremony and during meal we had 60 guests
