Located in the heart of the City of London, just one minute walk from Bank station weddings at The Ned take place on the historic sixth floor, which has six grade I-listed spaces and two outdoor terraces with views across the city. There’s space for weddings of all sizes, whether you want an intimate affair for 20-50, or a large-scale gathering of 140-200.
Designed by prolific architect, this hybrid hotel and member’s club derives its name from Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens’ creative vision that has stood the test of time. Inside, the remarkable interiors transport you back to the glamorous 1920s era. The grand banking hall on the ground floor houses ten different restaurants and bars with global culinary inspirations and the original marble banking desks have been converted to dining counters. Despite its sheer size, the vintage velvet furnishings, African Verdite stone pillars and banquette seating give a cosy atmosphere with live music taking centre stage every night.
At The Ned, we offer wonderful flexibility when it comes to celebrating, Our Tapestry room allows 120 guests on round tables or up to 140 on long tables. For our ceremonies, The Saloon is licensed for 110 guests and The Tapestry for 180 guests. Both spaces offer a spectacular setting to say your vows and celebrate with your loved ones amongst the historic walnut panelling in the Tapestry and ornate 18th century chandelier in the Saloon.
Newlyweds can make the most of the Ned’s gym, spa, sauna or the pool. The Cowshed nail salon, 1950’s style barber shop and hair salon will provide all pre-wedding pampering. Host your bridesmaids and groomsmen and enjoy some well-deserved head-to-toe maintenance with Cowshed products. As for a post party crash pad, your guests can book into one of the plush 248 hotel rooms at a special rate.
