Grand Junction is a unique multilevel wedding venue located in Kensington and Chelsea, in the West London area of England. A historic place with contemporary refurbishments, it successfully manages to marry the best of both worlds for all to enjoy. It has also been used as the setting for some of the 2012 film, Les Miserables. Facilities and Capacity
The Nave is the largest indoor space available to use at Grand Junction. This function area has been here for a couple of decades, and it is defined by high-end decor and eye-catching architecture. Boasting high ceilings, exposed pillars, opulent interiors, and more, it is very fitting for some of life’s most important events. Oozing 19th-century appeal, it is certainly a worthy setting for relaxing and celebrating. In terms of capacity, it can accommodate 300 people for a seated dining experience or 500 for a stand-up reception. From here, guests are welcome to drift outdoors towards The Garden where conversations can be held in the open air. A terrace is also out here, and it is ideal for mingling in the fresh air. The Undercroft is also available where 200 people can appreciate a cocktail reception. Alternatively, up to 120 invitees can take their seats if room is required for the all-important meal. This warm and inviting underground area features beautiful brickwork and mood lighting where a dance floor can be set up for the late-night partying.
A wedding coordinator can use their expertise to help couples bring their wonderful day to life. These organizational aficionados are keen to do their utmost to craft bespoke experiences that live up to personal expectations. In-house catering is available, meaning that to-be-weds can choose their favorite meals for everyone to enjoy throughout the occasion. We had the best day! After much venue searching we came across the gem that is Grand Junction. We were close to giving up hope of having a grand venue for our wedding with the budget we had. Grand Junction and the Bovingdons team to the rescue!! The church building made a stunning setting for our big day, now we have had the photos through they look amazing! The team at Bovingdons took care of every little detail and the food and service was impeccable. We had a truly magical day and all of our friends and family have commented on how great the venue, food and service was.
