There was nothing that couldn’t be done to accommodate our wants and maintain it within our budget. From the initial guidance to the support on the day, the support, care and appreciation for what we wanted was clear. The team were outstanding, the venue stunning and the overall atmosphere was perfect. Would definitely recommend! We’re coming back for our next major celebration.

On the 22nd August 2026 we had our Wedding party at The Cloisters, Letchworth.
This was the second family wedding party we have had at this venue.
The space provided was superb for our 95 guests. With a large reception room for dancing and a quieter area for those who preferred to chat.

We had welcome drinks served in the Temple room and an amazing buffet served by efficient ,professional staff, nothing was to much trouble.

Our evening was a great success thanks to the first class service and communication provided particularly by Cheryl who couldn't have done more to make our occasion run smoothly.

An amazing wedding day so personal relaxed in gothic surrounds of the temple. Sarah my wife was a nervous bride but the team at the cloisters steered us through everything from an amazing meal and linking us to beautiful flowers and an ultra special vintage car. We chose a small wedding 40 guests but there is a bigger room for afterwards we stuck with the close group in the bar area after the ceremony

Five years ago, we were fortunate enough to celebrate one of the most important and magical days of our lives, and to this day, our wedding remains a memory that holds such a special place in our hearts.

From the very beginning, Peter and Jess were truly exceptional. Their professionalism, dedication and genuine care were evident in every detail. They went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was not only beautifully organised, but that everything flowed effortlessly from one moment to the next. Everything ran smoothly, everything was on time, and absolutely nothing was ever too much trouble.

What made the experience even more special was the breathtaking setting itself. The venue was a beautiful, enchanting and historic building, filled with character, elegance and a sense of timelessness. It was truly the perfect setting for such an important occasion.

The chapel was simply breathtaking. It was so naturally beautiful that we felt no decoration was necessary. The chapel spoke for itself. In fact, the beauty of the entire building was so remarkable that there was no need to cover or transform it in any way. Every room, every feature and every detail seemed to have its own story and charm.

We added a few personal touches of our own — beautiful chair covers and bows, along with our table decorations — but we deliberately kept everything elegant and understated. The venue was already so stunning that it needed very little to make it feel extraordinary.

And then came the food — something our family and friends still talk about five years later!

Our meal was absolutely outstanding. We began with toasted ciabatta topped with creamy garlic mushrooms, followed by a beautifully prepared lamb shank with creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a delicious red wine jus. For dessert, we enjoyed our wedding cake served with cream.

The buffet was equally exceptional. Peter and Jess put so much thought and care into ensuring that our family and friends were well looked after. They even made sure that guests with allergies were properly catered for, giving us complete peace of mind and allowing everyone to enjoy the celebrations together.

There was such a wonderful atmosphere throughout the entire day. Nobody was left bored, nobody was overlooked, and everyone felt part of something truly special. Peter and Jess had thought of everything, from the biggest elements of the wedding right down to the smallest details.

Being able to extend the hall licence for our evening party and bar was another wonderful touch. It meant we could continue celebrating with the people we love, relax and truly enjoy ourselves, dancing and partying the night away without feeling rushed. It was the perfect way to end an already unforgettable day.

What makes our wedding even more special is that, five years later, our family and friends still talk about it. They remember the stunning venue, the breathtaking chapel, the atmosphere, the incredible food and the happiness of the day. Those memories have stayed with all of us.

When we look back now, we realise that Peter and Jess didn’t simply organise our wedding. They helped bring our dream to life. They created an experience that was seamless, beautiful and filled with moments we will treasure forever.

We will always be incredibly grateful for the care, dedication and passion they put into making our wedding so special. Their attention to detail, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond made such a difference to us.

Peter and Jess, we simply cannot thank you enough.

Thank you for giving us more than a wedding day. Thank you for giving us cherished memories, unforgettable moments and a day that will forever be one of the most beautiful chapters of our lives.

Five years on, we can still remember how it felt — the excitement, the happiness, the laughter, the love and the overwhelming joy of having all the people we cared about together in one beautiful place.

And for that, we will be forever grateful.

I nearly cried walking into The Cloisters for the first time—it is just breathtakingly beautiful 🥰.

​As we didn't want a traditional wedding, they completely accommodated us and understood our vision for the day. They even embraced my love for the wonderful George Michael and our quiche wedding cake!

​The food was amazing, and they understood that we didn't want a formal wedding breakfast. Instead, we had the best BBQ I have ever had!

​Peter, Jess, and everyone involved were phenomenal. They went completely above and beyond during the planning process and throughout the big day itself to make sure everything went off without a hitch.

Back in September 2018 me and my husband were blessed to be married at the cloisters.. I cant recommend this place enough to future couples. The atmosphere is beautiful and elegant. The inside and out! The staff are fantastic, food was great and so clean. They made our day special in so many ways. This venue is not expensive at all. Great value! I love this place so much. Well recommend to all!
