We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue for our wedding day. From the moment we booked, the staff at The Great Tythe Barn were incredible, supporting us every step of the way. Their experience and guidance were invaluable, offering helpful tips and suggestions for things we hadn't even considered. The venue itself is stunning, with a fantastic layout and plenty of space for guests to relax and enjoy the day. The on-site cottages and B&B rooms were a huge bonus, allowing many of our guests to stay overnight and make the most of the celebrations. The value for money is exceptional, and the team truly goes above and beyond to help make your day run smoothly. They worked closely with us on timings and logistics, ensuring we could fit everything we wanted into our schedule without feeling rushed. There are also beautiful grounds that provide the perfect backdrop for private photos with your photographer. Whether you're planning an indoor or outdoor ceremony, the venue offers wonderful options, and the wedding planners are incredibly accommodating and flexible with your choices. We are so grateful to The Great Tythe Barn team for helping create such a perfect day. We would recommend this venue without hesitation to any couple looking for a stunning venue, outstanding service, and an unforgettable wedding experience.

We had such an amazing time at our wedding and have been told it was the Wedding of the Century! The venue is beautiful, service top notch and I can't tell you how many people told us the food was amazing! We loved it and can't thank everyone enough! From reception, to house keeping who rescued me getting ready on the hottest day ever, to the amazing food and beverage team, management and the wedding coordinator, the service was always top notch. The venue and grounds are beautiful and the team run a slick wedding with 100 day guests and extras in the evening they didn't miss a beat. We honestly could not have picked a better wedding venue than Kingscote Barn if we tried! From our very first interaction 2.5 years ago to waking up the morning after our big day, the entire team has been absolutely phenomenal. Every single email we sent over the years was met with the most helpful, beautiful responses, making us feel like nothing was ever too much trouble and our very first venue visit completely sealed the deal for us from the offset! While the entire KB staff is spectacular, our venue coordinator, Ashleigh, deserves her own standing ovation. We found out Ashleigh was taking over our day three months ago, and within about three seconds flat, we knew we were the luckiest couple alive. She is the absolute epitome of "going the extra mile." Ashleigh expertly navigated a vast amount of suppliers, sent super helpful documentation, and managed a chaotic getting-ready morning without even flinching. She basically became a supplier in her own right—flawlessly setting up all our guest table favours, menu cards, goodie bags, and extra decor, all while remaining incredibly calm, chilled, and organised like she could have done it all in her sleep! The barn itself looked stunning beyond compare, and the day was more perfect than we ever could have imagined in real life. To top it all off, arriving at the glorious treehouse in the early hours of the morning to find an adorable card and a KB Larry the lamb memento from Ashleigh just blew us away. No wedding we’ve ever been to comes close to how immense this place and team are. Thank you, Ashleigh and KB, for making the most special day of our lives completely unforgettable! 🤍✨

The owner Stel is lovely and the woodlands are a perfect location for any couples looking for a fairytale location! The woodlands comes with a circle wooden structure over the firepit which has various seats inside and a couple of tables. There is another metal gazebo with some metal chairs and tables, and there was a portaloo and a sink. This is a DIY kind of location, which meant it was full of possibilities and we could create the day we wanted! We hired a stretch tent, hired furniture, hired a graze table service for the wedding breakfast, & had a taco van in the evening! We even had axe throwing! We had no problem hiring another portaloo, furniture, & any services we wanted. Stel was wonderful, very responsive to my many messages, & allowed us to visit the site as many times as we wanted, as long as it wasn't being used. I highly recommend this location for any couple who are not afraid to get hands-on in putting their day together!

We could not have had the wedding that we had without their support. The wedding day was so beautiful and our guests were in love with the venue! We would definitely recommend!
