We are blown away by our autumn wedding at The Hare and Hounds Hotel in Tetbury! We couldn't have asked for the day to go any better and we are incredibly grateful to Mia and all the H&H staff. Nothing was too much to ask and every detail was taken care of so we could just enjoy the day. The venue was stunning, food was delicious and plentiful and the staff were absolutely out of this world! Ourselves plus our guests were so taken care of from start to finish. Having Mia was like having our very own personal wedding coordinator - she listened to all of our ideas and needs and didn't miss one single thing. Her communication throughout was perfect and she is exceptional at her job. I know we are bias however after attending so many weddings before our own, ours by far went the smoothest and guests didn't have a thing to complain about! It goes to show that you do not need to pay out for a fancy castle or rustic barn to make your day special - the most important is the venue's operation, staff support, food and great vibes! Thank you Mia, and all the H&H staff!

We knew from our first visit to Matara that we had found our wedding venue! The feeling of calm that came over both of us was incredible, as was the obvious care and love that all the staff have for the place. We hired the venue and accommodation, which worked out really well as we were able to have lots of our friends and family stay on site with us, and come together with us the night before the main day. Matara is totally unique - a word that's really over-used, but truly there is nowhere quite like it. There are so many different, equally photogenic areas to explore, which gives so many options for personalising your day. As nature lovers, we were enthralled by all the greenery, beautiful flowers, and special environments that surrounded us. Abbie was our coordinator, and she was brilliant. She thought of every little detail, and on the day itself I didn't have to worry about a thing - she had everything under control. The day flowed perfectly, and Abbie also checked in with us to make sure our timeline was going as planned. Throughout the planning process, Abbie was always responsive to all our questions, and the wider team was able to support too when needed. Our entire wedding was vegan, which didn't faze the Matara team in the slightest, which was so reassuring! The food was absolutely incredible. Chef Luke created an afternoon tea menu for us which was perfect, and all our guests' dietary requirements (including 3 coeliacs) were very well catered for. We had a delightful tasting earlier in the year too, which was such a treat! So many of our guests commented on how amazing Matara was, even guests who are local and never knew it existed before! We are so glad we found Matara, it truly was out perfect wedding venue, and we'd recommend everyone to discover it for themselves.

We had the most amazing day. Juliette our wedding organiser and Lee from Strawberry Fields catering worked closely together to ensure that everything went like clockwork. Juliette ran around all morning fetching and carrying, ensuring that everything and everyone was where they needed to be….. nothing was too much bother. Lee was also amazing, getting us organised in the loveliest way and saw us through our day from start to finish, he was a delight. Our photographer Vikki Kelly was amazing, instantly putting us at ease and going with our quirky requests. Our taster photos are beautiful, we are excited to see the rest. Cotswold chairs helped to dress the room, the chairs looked beautiful and complimented our table displays. We want to do it all over again, the wife has suggested we have our first anniversary party at Kingscote, it was so much fun. We highly recommend this venue with its beautiful scenery, amazing accommodation and beautiful treehouse.

What a fantastic venue! Stel really helped with everything we needed from recommendations on vendors through to sweeping out the rain water on the day after thunderstorms! We visited a few times before, to plan the site but also just to have a cuppa and relax by the fire! The weather was horrendous, torrential rain and thunderstorms in the week leading up to the day, but it didn't put a damper on anything at all! Stel helped in every way she could to keep the ground level and walkable, but I prepared my guests and said wellies would be helpful! If you're vision is for an outdoor wedding in the woods you can't find anything better! It was truly magical! Love you Stel!!!
