Tucked away in a peaceful woodland glade, our unique wedding venue offers the perfect setting for couples who want something beautifully rustic, completely relaxed, and deeply meaningful.
We believe weddings should be as individual as the people getting married — so we offer the freedom to design your day your way. All our guests still say how much they loved our wedding. Stels woods were a huge part of that with its relaxing and beautiful charm.
Not only is the venue a hidden gem it also has a very kind and dedicated owner.

We loved how the place transformed over the weekend. We arrived on Thursday to a quiet, peaceful woodland. By Saturday, it had become a fairytale wedding venue. Then on Monday, we walked through a serene, bird-chirping, completely empty forest again. We watched the forest transform, almost like it was sharing in our special moments.
Stel, thank you for your trust, help, and the joy you shared with us. We're so grateful to have met you and wish you and your wonderful woodlands all the best. You've created something really special here, and we'll always cherish the memories of our time in your forest.

Hi, this is me!
My name is Estelle, my husband and I purchased the woods in 2017 with a regeneration project in mind. Little did we realise the journey it would take us on.
It was a steep learning curve and one of the lessons we quickly learnt was how much money it can take to begin to bring woods back into a managed system. (Managing woodlands properly helps with carbon sequestering, increasing biodiversty, put back into the local economy and is also great for mental and physical health)
We decided to open the woods up to host up to eight weddings per year. This would allow us to plough any profits straight back into the woods, making for a wedding that is the ultimate Eco-friendly wedding as your wedding helps to improve and maintain the environment where you celebrate your love with your nearest and dearest.
The woods is just that, it is first and foremost a woodland that is transformed for each celebration and quickly returned to its natural state. Unlike so many other venues that are first and foremost a venue with some woodland that they use for the backdrop of a wedding.
To us, the ability to offer truely Eco-friendly weddings where all the profits go back into the land is a privilage and a joy.

I am an 11 year old Cob. I was bought to be a member of the team to help with timber extraction in the woods.
At first I was in the woods quite often, pulling timber out of the woods for it to be processed. But, at the moment I am taking it easy in the field waiting for the next lot of trees to be thinned out so I can get up there and do a bit more work.
