We got married at Clearwell Castle on 27th June 2026 and can honestly say it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was somewhere special. The castle itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds, incredible ceremony spaces and a real sense of occasion that made our wedding feel magical from start to finish. What truly sets Clearwell apart is the team. Every member of staff was professional, organised, friendly and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The planning process was seamless, and on the day itself everything ran like clockwork. We felt completely relaxed knowing we were in such capable hands. Our guests were blown away by the venue. Many commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The food was excellent, the service was flawless, and the attention to detail throughout the day was outstanding. As a same-sex couple, we also felt completely welcomed and celebrated throughout the entire process. The team made us feel special from beginning to end and helped create a day that reflected us perfectly. The castle provided the most incredible backdrop for our photographs, and everywhere you looked there was another beautiful space to enjoy. From the ceremony to the reception and evening party, every part of the day felt effortless and memorable. If you're considering Clearwell Castle for your wedding, we couldn't recommend it highly enough. It gave us the most amazing day of our lives and memories that we, along with our family and friends, will cherish forever. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Sudeley Castle. From the very first time we visited, communication was always incredibly easy, quick, and reassuring. Our coordinator, Darcey, consistently went above and beyond to help us, answering questions promptly and making the whole planning process feel straightforward and stress-free. Throughout the process, the team were also incredibly reasonable and accommodating, always willing to work with us to meet our needs and make our vision for the day a reality. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and catered perfectly to our needs. One of the things we loved most was having three different areas to move between throughout the day - the chapel, the rose garden, and the orangery. It gave our guests the opportunity to keep discovering new spaces and admiring different parts of the venue, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The rose gardens at the end of May were particularly stunning and provided an incredible backdrop for our drinks reception. We chose not to hire a wedding planner and thanks to Darcey, we genuinely never felt like we needed one. Throughout the planning process, she made us feel completely comfortable and confident that everything was in hand. On the wedding day itself, she was fantastic, ensuring everything ran smoothly and seamlessly behind the scenes so that we could simply relax and enjoy every moment. We are so grateful to Darcey and the whole team for helping create such a wonderful day. Their professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail made all the difference and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sudeley Castle to any couple looking for a truly beautiful venue with exceptional support and organisation.

Wow what to write…Berkeley castle and the team absolutely lived up to the hype. If I could put more than 5 stars I would, there expertise, experience and overall service, made our big day, all we could ever hope for.
