We keep thinking back to last month and wondering whether it was actually a dream, it went that perfectly! We were so lucky with the weather - I'm sure it would have been fantastic inside, but to have our wedding ceremony outdoors in such beautiful surroundings, made the day so magical.

We can't thank you enough for all your help in planning what was the most special day. The team (I'm afraid we can only remember Rhiannon's name) were so attentive. Every one of our guests I spoke to couldn't rate The Manor House highly enough.
The memories we made last weekend will be cherished forever, not just by us but our family too. Thank you so much again, and I'm sure we'll be back at The Manor House in the not too distant future!

We had the most amazing wedding day at the Manor House. Arranging a wedding can feel very overwhelming and daunting but Cassie was so supportive. She made us feel like no question was too silly and would go above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! We managed to keep to our budget with some help and suggestions which is always an added bonus. The day its self was perfect! All the staff were so helpful and friendly. I had so many compliments from guests saying how helpful the team was. If you are looking at this as a potential venue I would recommend viewing and meeting Cassie as you will fall in love with the beautiful house and Cassie.

It was the most incredible couple of days, better than we could have ever dreamed. The Manor House staff was wonderful. They took care of all of our guests were incredibly detailed, responsive, and professional. I've been told by several of our guests that it was the nicest wedding they have ever been to, and I know that is huge part due to the Manor House facilities and staff.

We cannot recommend the Manor House more as a both a wedding venue and place to stay. We had lots of family coming from outside the country and everyone was taken care of from the minute they stepped on the premises.

Cassie made planning the wedding incredibly seamless, which made the big day run smoothly from start to finish. I can’t forget to mention the staff that helped along the way too- everyone was beyond lovely and seemed to genuinely care about making it the most special day.

We recently had the absolute joy of not only staying at The Manor House, but also celebrating our wedding there... and we can honestly say it exceeded our (very high) expectations and hopes from start to finish. Every detail, every moment, and every interaction with the staff was nothing short of perfection.

First, we have to give the warmest thanks to Cassie and Dan. Cassie was a gem throughout our planning and stay, and Dan… well, we’re not entirely sure how he managed it, but he seemed to be everywhere at once! Anything we needed, no matter how big, small, or last-minute, he took care of with such professionalism and genuine kindness. They both made us feel completely at ease, as though our day was as important to them as it was to us.

The front desk and reception team were equally wonderful. Every time we passed through the lobby, we were met with warm smiles and genuine well-wishes. They made us feel like old friends rather than guests they had just met.

The grounds are something out of a romantic film. The Italian gardens in particular… absolutely breathtaking. Perfectly manicured, dreamy, and full of charm. They were the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos and felt like they’d been kept in flawless condition just for us.

I had the privilege of getting ready in the Albinesses Room, and it truly felt like something from a bridal magazine. The light, the elegance, the charm — everything was picture-perfect. The photos taken there are some of my absolute favorites from the entire day.

And oh, the food! A standing ovation for the chef and kitchen team. The canapés were dangerously delicious... so much so that our guests (and us!) were practically scrambling to grab “just one more” before they disappeared. The wedding breakfast was every bit as divine. Each course was met with delighted murmurs around the room, and even though we were all full, we somehow managed to polish off dessert without hesitation.

The wait staff were impeccable... attentive without being intrusive, professional yet warm, and always one step ahead of what we needed. It’s rare to see service so seamless.

Everything about The Manor House is the epitome of luxury. Our wedding guests were endlessly complimenting the rooms, the grounds, and the kindness of the staff. It truly felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We cannot thank The Manor House enough for going above and beyond to make our wedding and our stay so magical. We are already dreaming about returning for an anniversary trip... so we can relive a little bit of the magic all over again.

We are a US-based couple and I still can't believe how easy and fun they made the planning process even from far away. They made us feel so welcome and the logistics couldn't have been smoother. It is extremely hard to find guest service done with such genuine heart and care and we're beyond delighted to have found that in the Manor House team members. Cassie was so patient and kind and made us feel so taken care of in the days and months leading up to the wedding. Day-of, Dan was so helpful, welcoming, and joyful to work with. The teams' initiative, attention to detail, warmness, and genuine interest in their work and events is everything a wedding couple could hope for. Our wedding was beautiful and memorable and our photos are just stunning. Would recommend this venue to anyone!

I can’t even explain how perfect this venue is! From
our first meeting where all the small touches made us feel so special, a bottle of champagne and a welcome sign with our names on it! Small touches which meant so much! All the staff are soo friendly and go above and beyond for you. We felt right at home and just knew it was our venue! Throughout the process Cassie and the team are so amazing at making your dream wedding a reality! On the day everything ran smoothly. All our guests couldn’t believe how stunning the venue was and the next day all stayed longer to have a long around the grounds and area! Truly perfect! We got married at The Manor House earlier last month (October 2025) and we couldn’t have asked for more. It was the perfect wedding venue.

From the moment we saw the venue, we knew it was ‘the one’. This was further confirmed upon meeting the staff, having originally booked with Jennifer, two years ago, Cassie was then assigned to look after us. No question or silly request ever felt like it was too much for her, she couldn’t have done anymore for us. The attention to detail from Cassie meant we could relax and concentrate on the other parts of the wedding planning, and helped take the stress away.

A special mention also goes out to Dan, who looked after us on the day. He was like a magician, always appearing when you mentioned his name and taking care of everything for us, including last minute changes and requests.

All of the staff were amazing and we had the best day of our lives celebrating our marriage.

We had a 3 day wedding weekend here at the Manor House. From the first meeting to the last it went beautifully! Cassie and their Wedding Coordinator Dan are just lovely to work with! If I could go back and do it again and again I absolutely would! Highly suggest this venue!

We held our 16-person wedding at The Manor House and it couldn't have been more perfect - Dan and Rhiannon and their team were amazing and the whole day went like clockwork. Hotel was stunning, food was incredible, service was faultless and Cassie was a brilliant wedding planner. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our fairy tale wedding at The Manor House in October 2024.
We initially viewed The Manor House in August 2022, from the second we walked in the staff were welcoming and warm, we felt like they knew who we were as soon as we arrived.
We met Cassie the venue coordinator who wanted to get to know us, she took an interest in how we met, our story, our engagement and what we were looking in a wedding day - there was no pushy sales conversation or pressure to sign a contract (unlike other venues we had viewed).
We left with lots of information and knowing that Cassie truly loved her job and believed in The Manor House and the team there.
Life happened and we got busy, living abroad the wedding planning took a back seat when we left the UK. Cassie touched based here and there, but didn't press us to sign a contract or hound us with promotional info and emails.
Fast forward to April 2023, we reached out to Cassie again for a second viewing, we'd pretty much made our minds up - we couldn't stop talking about the venue for close to a year, the setting, the attention to detail from the team, everything felt perfect, even from afar. We re-met with Cassie, who remembered all the details we had covered in our initial meeting, it was like she'd known us for years, we felt comfortable as if chatting with a friend, and of course, we booked! We stayed the night and ate at The Bybrook (which is highly recommended in itself) the news of us signing the wedding contract spread to the staff, who at every interaction congratulated us and made us feel like we were the only guests in the house, despite being a fairly busy evening.
We visited the venue July 2024 to complete our menu tasting and confirm the final details with Cassie, again, she and the team were fantastic, the attention to detail from everyone was incredible and no matter how detail orientated we were and wanted to be on the day, Cassie and the team matched our energy. There wasn’t anything that we asked for that they didn’t find a solution for.
Communication with Cassie was a breeze, from the moment we booked until the day itself, living abroad didn't make any difference, she was always there, at the end of the phone or an email, no question to small or silly. She accepted deliveries for us, she unpacked items and sent us photos, she even helped us track down a lost invitation – that’s dedication!
Finally, it’s the week of the wedding, we arrive on Tuesday for our Thursday wedding. Cassie greets us with a huge hug each and reassurance despite the last-minute tasks. The team were ready and on hand to unpack the car, run errands, help with unpacking boxes, nothing was too much trouble. The house still had other guests staying that weren’t part of our party, but again, we felt like we were the only priority.
On Wednesday we met with Emma who oversees the day-of running with the events team, within 5-minutes we felt like we’d known her 5 years. She’d read through our function sheet and studied it so she knew all of the little details and double checked exactly how we wanted things to run. Cassie popped in after the meeting with Emma and excitedly wanted to help me hang my dress up ready to be steamed, she ooooohed and aaaaaahed at it, I felt like a true princess and it wasn’t even the wedding day yet!
Morning of the wedding and the bridal prep room is a hive of activity, staff continuously congratulating me, helping us run gifts and cards to guests and keeping us both updated on the arrival of suppliers, in a reassuring rather than stressing way.
I walked down the aisle on my own and Cassie knew how important this was for me, I was dressed and ready to go with Emma waiting by the door for the cue to head down to the ceremony, and a knock at the door, Cassie arrives. She hugs me and insists on helping to carry my dress down the stairs and gave me all the reassurance I needed while waiting to take my solo walk down the aisle, she even nailed the dress fluff perfectly!
Once you visit The Manor House you will fall in love with the charm of the house, the village and the fantastic team. You’ll be in safe hands and once you’ve viewed, it will be impossible to get The Manor House out of your head. The day was seamless, we were the Lord and Lady of The Manor and we couldn’t have imagined a better day, we don’t think it would be possible to top our experience!

This place is incredible. Every detail from the grounds to the rooms to the food, and the staff is so lovely and attentive we felt like we were the only ones to ever get married there. Cassie in particular is so warm that you feel like she is a member of your family. Could not recommend more highly our wedding was perfect in every way!

Wow, what can I say about The Manor House and the team! Truly an incredible team, our wedding day was just perfect! I would highly recommend, the service was fantastic, grounds just beautiful, hotel is amazing!

The Manor House was the first venue that we saw for our wedding and our first choice. Located to the amazing village of Castle Combe and surrounded by tall trees, lakes and streams makes it a place straight out of a fairytale. The hotel itself is glamorous and grand. The wedding coordinators are excellent in debriefing every detail, being flexible and walk by you throughout the process. Everything was perfect in every detail. The food, the canapés, the wine. All personnel in our toes. Our day was celebrated and honored . We are going back for our 1st year anniversary .

Ben and I were due to get married at the beautiful Manor House, Castle Combe on 29th May 2020. However, by the middle of March, the likelihood of our special day being a reality was getting smaller and smaller. When the situation first unfolded, Gemma was on it straightaway, put us at ease, and came up with a million solutions to help make our day happen. I knew instantly we were in very safe hands. The pandemic escalated very quickly after that, and by the end of March, we knew our day was not meant to be, and postponing was our only option. Gemma, again, jumped on the case immediately, was always so positive on the phone and by email, making me feel like I was the only bride in the world- which I know was not the case at all. We now have a new date for April 2021, and the transition was so smooth and easy, thanks to Gemma’s exceptional positivity and organisation. We have not lost a single thing, only gained an extra 10 months to enjoy the build up. We cannot wait to visit The Manor House again, as soon as it’s safe to do so, to toast our new date in the amazing gin bar - hopefully Gemma can join us!
If we feel the same love and support that we have received so far on our new date, we know it’s going to be a truly special day.
