From the very first moment we booked Lanwades Hall, we knew we had chosen somewhere special but nothing could have prepared us for just how magical the experience would be.

We had the entire venue, including the beautiful rooms, for the whole weekend, and from start to finish we were made to feel like people, not a paycheck. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and full of care. Our questions, requests, and ideas were met not only with open minds but with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a sense of fun that made the whole journey a joy.

The team at Lanwades Hall is exceptional, but we have to give a special mention to Charlotte. She was nothing short of outstanding. Her industry knowledge guided us to our caterers, helped us with our venue setup, and ensured we had the perfect team of suppliers to make our vision a reality. Quite simply, without Charlotte, our wedding weekend wouldn’t have been as magical as it was. She kept everything running smoothly, but also gave us the time and space to truly take it all in. She made sure we were fed, watered, and cared for throughout the day the kind of thoughtful touches that mean the world when you’re swept up in the whirlwind of emotions.

The process from booking to the wedding day was seamless and easy, and when the big day arrived, everything fell into place effortlessly. Lanwades Hall itself is breathtaking, a venue that, even without decoration, speaks for itself. The gardens are like something out of a dream, with beauty that is simply impossible to capture in words. We chose to add our own personal touches and bring in our favourite vendors, but we could have done nothing at all and it still would have been stunning.

Ryan and I cannot recommend Lanwades Hall, Charlotte, and the whole team more highly. There are very few words that can truly express how grateful we are for everything they did for us. Thank you for giving us, for giving me the wedding of our dreams.

Lanwades Hall is a stunning venue which is further enhanced by the care and attention of the team. From start to finish, Charlotte, Elvis and the rest of the team supported us to create the day we wanted, constantly showing flexibility and willingness to help us with advice and ensure it ran like clockwork. The recommended/preferred partners of Lanwades are fantastic, we opted for Juan as the photographer, Heidi for flowers and Portfolio for catering. None of them let us down. Thanks to Lanwades for making our day so special, we can't recommend the venue and Lanwades team enough. If you are considering Lanwades, you should book without hesitation!

I cannot express enough how absolutely perfect our day at Lanwades was. From the second we stepped foot into the hall on our first show round to leaving the day after, it was a fairytale.

The team there are fabulous, and a huge shoutout to Charlotte, our coordinator, who consistently went above and beyond through the whole process to ensure our day was completely seamless. Booking was so easy, and she held our hands throughout the entire process of organising our day. She even stepped in to announce us into our wedding breakfast, and put together a little video of our day when someone couldn’t make it.

The property itself is stunning - although it looks big, it feels so homely and welcoming. And the gardens are beautiful, providing the perfect places for photos as well.

I couldn’t recommend Lanwades Hall enough, and I hope more people get to experience the absolute joy of getting married there.

On the day itself, they were amazing. Everything ran so smoothly that we could actually relax and enjoy every moment, even though we were both nervous. Tegan was a lifesaver, confirming table setting details when I’d forgotten to add my binder to the box, and Charlotte was such a calming presence, giving me comfort and advice just before I walked down the aisle when I was feeling stressed. Elvis and Alex were equally brilliant, quietly making sure every little detail was perfect so we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made our day feel effortless and joyful. We honestly couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks to this incredible team, our wedding was everything we hoped for—and more.

We had our wedding at Lanwades in early
July 2025. It was a wonderful day. Lanwades is a beautiful venue, and we were lucky to be able to have our ceremony outside in the glorious sunken garden! The inside rooms are lovely too, and allowed people who wanted to chat more than dance to have a space to do so in the evening.
But the very best thing about Lanwades are the people: Charlotte was incredible in helping us organise the wedding, give her advice and answer all our questions very clearly and quickly, and she and Tegan were amazing on the day in making everything run smoothly, including helping with looking after our infant daughter!

The venue itself is beautiful. The building is characterful and warm, and very minimal decoration is needed around the place, it's already grand enough! The wonderful big stair case in particular provides a great princess moment. The grounds are lovely, providing lots of different spots for photos. They're well maintain throughout the year.

The guest rooms are modern, comfy and clean. The communal spaces brought everyone together and created a lovely atmosphere before the big event. Lanwades have thought of the little details, providing essentials like coffee and an iron! The bridal sweet is gorgeous and spacious. The lighting is great for makeup and the full length mirror and dress hook are helpful touches.

All the staff were incredible from start to finish. They were always responsive via email, and patiently answered our many questions. On the wedding day itself they were so organised and lovely. Special shoutout to Charlotte & Tegan here! All of our vendors had nothing but praise for the staff on the day and it's thanks to them that everything ran so smoothly (calmly).

The dreamiest wedding venue with an absolute superstar team making sure everything happened as it should!

I wanted a venue that would allow us to have our Bridgerton style wedding, surrounded by sumptuous gardens, an abundance of flowers, and a gorgeous venue. Lanwades Hall truly has everything we were looking for.

We opted for a multi day wedding, which was a really fair cost for the entire package (including accommodation for our close guests over the 2 nights!).

Alex was warm and gave us a great tour, and we both felt that he really understood us when we were painting our vision for the day(s).

Charlotte & Tegan, wow, I have never met a more in sync, high energy and super organised team. You made the whole process stress free and ran the two days like the experts you are. From a ‘type A’ bride who struggled to relinquish control, I was able to switch off and simply be a bride which meant so much to me.

Everyone we met from the bar team to the gardening team were so lovely and made the whole event feel special.

I could write essays about our experience, but will finish by saying if you are looking for a venue and team, Lanwades offers something different from the rest and you won’t regret booking with them. X

Lanwades was absolutely fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose to have our special day there. After being let down by our previous venue, Lanwades stepped in and went above and beyond to accommodate us on short notice, meeting all our requests and working within our budget. The day itself was incredible, and everyone fell in love with the venue. Even with exclusive use of the whole property, it felt perfectly cozy and intimate for our wedding party of 20. The staff were exceptional, taking care of us and our family throughout our entire stay.

We got married on the 10th October this year and everything from start to finish was just perfect. Lanwades Hall is the most beautiful venue and the staff are amazing. Charlotte and the team couldn't have been more amazing leading up to and on the day. Charlotte new what we needed before we did and was always there to make everything run smoothly. She even stayed calm when we were running 20 minutes late to the ceremony and calmed my nerves before walking down the isle. The bridal suit is gorgeous just like the rest of the venue. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to!

My husband and I got married on 10/11/24. Firstly, the venue itself is so beautiful. It's both grand and intimate, everything we wanted for our wedding. However, it is the people working at Lanwades that set it apart; They ensured the day ran seamlessly, and our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Tegan, in particular, made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, anticipating everything before I knew what I needed, checking in with us and ensuring we took time to ourselves. She even took some candid Polaroid photos of us for a page in our photo book, which I cherish so much. They also took care of all the vendors to the point we did absolutely nothing and looked after us when we were all a bit hungover the next day.

Lanwades Hall is truly an incredible venue!

We nearly canceled our viewing appointment because we thought we had already found "the one," but I’m so glad we didn’t! It was absolutely perfect for us. The venue is stunning, with breathtaking interiors, but it was the garden that truly sealed the deal. The idea of having an outdoor ceremony there made it a no-brainer I could easily envision everything I had dreamed of!

But, what truly maked Lanwades Hall special is the outstanding team working behind the scenes. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without any worries.

Our main contact, Charlotte, was simply amazing! Her keen attention to detail, exceptional organization, and soothing demeanor made the entire planning process a breeze. She was always there to answer our questions and offered advice that eased any stress we felt in the lead up to the big day (even during those late night panic messages!!) she really has the kindest soul and would do anything to help anyone!!

Tegan, who was relatively new in her role, was also fantastic, demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm that made us feel confident we were in good hands.

Our experience at Lanwades Hall was nothing short of magical. We had our wedding back in August and it was perfect. I am still not over it. The combination of a stunning venue and an outstanding team made for an unforgettable day. We had the most perfect day, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We had our wedding at Lanwades Hall in July 2024 and we would love to share our experience.
Our original meeting with Charlotte Wilgoose was in July 2023, and honestly, within minutes of meeting her I just knew we would be friends! We had a leisurely tour of the house and gardens, looking at pictures of various different types of weddings and talking through our own hopes for our wedding and ceremony. Charlotte has an incredible amount of knowledge and experience, and was able to help us to understand the myriad of options available to us.
After leaving that initial meeting, we decided to book Lanwades Hall as our venue very quickly, feeling confident that we would have help and support from Charlotte and the team in all aspects of wedding planning.
By happy coincidence, there was an open day a few weeks later when the house was being set up for weddings with the various preferred suppliers of the venue. This was an important and exciting event where we had the opportunity to meet and talk to the various suppliers such as caterers, photographers, musicians, cake makers and more. Seeing the venue set up was wonderful, and we got lots of ideas and design inspiration. We were also very pleased to invite our parents to this event, so they were able to share their thoughts and suggestions.
The planning process was greatly helped by Charlotte and the team, and we had regular contact with them throughout, in person, by phone and email. We felt incredibly well cared for and that they were as invested in our wedding as we were.
Our day went perfectly, although it went so fast! We cannot praise the entire team highly enough to convey our gratitude and appreciation. Everyone was so kind and helpful to us and our guests, nothing was too much trouble.
I have to give a very special shout out to Charlotte for her incredible support on the actual wedding day. She was always there for me, anticipating everything before I even knew what I needed. During my time getting ready, she was there with many glasses of water (it was so hot!), lots of hugs and reassurance, tissues for my tears, updating me on everything and genuinely making my day better. Every time we were taken for photographs, Charlotte magically appeared with my bouquet (always dried first) and helped me look my best.
The day flowed beautifully, the team turned the hall around and ready for the reception while the guests were enjoying the afternoon sun, and we just floated through the day on a cloud of happiness.
The bridal suite was a perfect place to get ready, I had plenty of room to have my makeup done and spend time with my special people before the ceremony.
Later that night we spent a wonderful first night as a married couple, Chris had a shower while I had a luxurious soak in the bath! I still miss that beautiful bathroom!! We then sat to enjoy some wedding cake and champagne before heading to the most comfortable bed ever!!
We would definitely recommend the venue to anyone getting married, our photos are spectacular and we have the best memories that we will cherish forever.
